I've played a good few hours of ESO and I'm really enjoying it. A lot better than I thought it would be

Yeah, same here. At first I was very iffy about it, and I had a dunmer shadow blade or whatever that dual wielded, and I just wasn't enjoying it that much. I made a high elf sorcerer, and am rolling around in mostly heavy armor mixed with some light, a destruction staff for ranged attacking, and a sword/shield combo. It's so much more fun. I love the fact that they don't have Skyrim simplified armor system, and instead it's more like Morrowind's. Mixing and matching armor is so much fun, I forgot how much I hated that change in Skyrim.
Also, that random dungeon generator mod is pretty fun. You can get perk and dragon souls potions as loot.:v:
Holy shit got a link or did I miss it a page back or few?
Apparently the greenhouse in Hearthfire adds a beehive to your house. I don't even know how anyone thought that was a good idea.
Do you guys use a special mod for taking better shots of your characters or is it all purely console commands?
Do you guys use a special mod for taking better shots of your characters or is it all purely console commands?
I think it's just the usual "TFC 1"-command that's needed.
Or you can just get pinup poser and a bunch of anime mods for maximum waifu potential.

TFC 1 to freeze all action and move the camera
SUCSM (number here) for camera speed. 20 is default, lower = slower movement
FOV (number here) I think 65 was the default? 90 is more like the human eye, but far cameras + low FOV (~30) can make for some nice artistic shots.
Oh bandits, so cocky.
You picked a bad - *squeals from greatsword to face*

Never knew about tfc 1.
I have always used-
tfc
tai
tcai
Your way sounds much better and simpler.
Does tai and tcai freeze the current action? Like, a power attack mid-swing?
Does tai and tcai freeze the current action? Like, a power attack mid-swing?
It's short for "toggle ai" and "toggle combat ai". Basically just turns off all the character processing so they can't move or do any actions. They're still animated but they don't do anything except stand there.

According to Helgen Reborn, "haunted" means "I CAN'T FUCKING SEE SHIT WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SPIDERS AND DREMORA TRYING TO HUMP MY FACE".
If ghosts were real I don't think your eyes would get filter-raped.

Keep in mind I'm doing all this shit I've been complaining about just to evaluate potential guardsmen. Do the guards in Falkreath have to singlehandedly cleanse a local Daedric haunting in place of a job interview? I don't fucking think so. Skyrim's guards die by the dozen and spout annoying one-liners. They're not goddamn Spartans.
I finally decided to stop being a loser and instal SKSE and skyUI and I gotta say this is pretty useful.

How did you go so long? Don't most mods need SKSE?
minor mods dont.
Exactly, I only use small mods and not fancy enbs or killmove stuff.

Here you go: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61962/?
It's located on a big island north of Dawnstar.

Looks like a good little mod
[sp]Its not NSFW, its a speechcraft mod[/sp]
That looks incredibly immersive! I'm drowning just thinking about it!
(can we make this not a word pls)
While I think it does tend to get overused, as with many words in the english language immerse does in fact have two meanings. It's not some new slang or anything like that.

Once you go skyUI you never go bye
...UI.

If you've made progress in the civil war you can just hire a bunch of imperial/stormcloak soldiers for the Helgen Guard, although the option you're going through leads to more content
So I finally beat skuldafn, it only took a few deaths, millions of health potions, and several dozen draugr deathlords.
edit: and sovngarde looks intensely awful because my ENB isn't optimized for it.

I've only been to Skyrim's finale once on like my first playthrough and I don't recall Skuldafn being that difficult.
Though I suppose I probably did it at like level 20 cause I used to finish RPGs insanely fast.

I suck at skyrim, so thats probably why its so hard.

faendal get off that orphan
Ok I swear deadly dragons makes alduin "harder" by just randomly setting me on fire and buffing his damage and health by 400%
Anyone an expert on papyrus? I'm trying to make it so after I say something to this NPC, the guy gets angry with me and starts attacking me.
So far I have
ArexonFollower.StartCombat(Game.GetPlayer())
but he doesn't attack
Oh bandits, so cocky.
Best line is "Hah! Like the bite of a flea!" when you're in the middle of performing a decapitation killmove on them.

Probably because it does do just that.
I haven't tried this, but TES general recommends this:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53350/?
Sounds interesting to say the least
Found a dog with a litter of puppies in the woods near Riften, but then a bandit popped out of nowhere and killed the mother.
BANDITS.
And this being Skyrim there's nothing I can do to help the now-orphaned puppies so they're probably going to get eaten by giants spiders or something. [IMG]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/IMG]
