I bought a new video card Hook me up with some good ENBs pls
Finally got my Npc follower to throw a shitfit if you insult him
akspeaker.SetRelationshipRank(Game.GetPlayer(),-4) akspeaker.RemoveFromAllFactions() akspeaker.StartCombat(Game.GetPlayer()) akspeaker.EvaluatePackage()
This basically tells him to set me as his arch nemisis, remove himself from the player and follower faction, starts combat with the player, and tells it to think or something idk might record a video, im proud of it [editline]19th April 2015[/editline]
Mod Organiser really helped me getting my Skyrim working. After a full reinstall I'm yet to find a CTD. I also got my Skyrim looking good for the first time ever. Using the always cloudy mod but considering switching to Climates of Tamriel, I'm undecided.
Probably because it does do just that. I haven't tried this, but TES general recommends this:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53350/? Sounds interesting to say the least
I've liked pretty much all of Pastaspace's other mods, and this one sounded good, but goddamn, the terrain in it killed off any enjoyment I might have had from it. I tried, but I just got tired of dying because I kept getting caught on shit I couldn't technically walk on that was stuck in the floor, or getting caught in pits where you end up perpetually "falling" because you're being held up by unwalkable terrain, or just plain old Skyrim jumping physics.
Best line is "Hah! Like the bite of a flea!" when you're in the middle of performing a decapitation killmove on them.
I don't want to see Skyrim's fleas.
Does anyone have a good ENB that doesn't take a dump on the framerate? The current one I have, while it looks nice, but cuts the framerate by about 10 - 20 FPS.
You aren't going to find a "nice" one that doesn't cut framerate, unless it has nothing turned on. Your choices are pretty much Phinix or Seasons.
I said doesn't take a dump, taking a dump is about 15 FPS, if it's like 5 - 10, I don't mind too much.
Seeing as you haven't provided either jack or shit in terms of specs, my original point stands.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/RumXekm.jpg[/t] I know it's nothing spectacular (and my graphical settings are shite), but here's my sorcerer. I kept a destruction staff on me for ranged combat, but I never used it. And yeah, I'm only level 8, but I don't have that much time to play video games anymore. All in all, I know a lot of people don't like ESO, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The crafting system as a whole is pretty enjoyable (although gathering materials is a pain),and the stuff you create is actually powerful, and usually not outleveled by something you find 5 seconds later. The getting caught part of the justice system is okay, but stealing, pickpocketing, and trespassing are actually pretty fun, and not too bad of a way to make money. The dye/armor system isn't bad too. My issue with Guild Wars 2 was that there was hardly any armor variety, and sure you could transmute and dye things too, but it cost extra gold. Whereas (to my knowledge) all the dyes in ESO are unlocked via achievements, and the variety is there because of each of the racial styles of armor. I didn't get my crafting high enough, but I think armor will change based off of the raw materials you make it out of (so instead of using a shitload of jute to make a high leveled robe, you use whatever material is the next level up). The combat isn't too bad either. It doesn't have too much weight behind it, but having sparks/blood/whatever fly off of enemies in the direction your blow is traveling is satisfying, as is blocking a charged attack and then knocking someone down. Similar to GW2 you're limited in skills, with only 6, but it's not bad because A) it'll take a while to get 6 skills, and B) as the skills level up you can morph them, which'll add functions, or change the spell almost completely (for example, the Scamp minion can either be turned into a Clannfear, which heals you when it dies, or be upgraded to deal more damage and stun enemies when it dies). So, sorry for the mini blog post, but I honestly would recommend this game. I didn't get to play with any friends this weekend, so this is all from a solo standpoint, but I'm sure it only gets more fun. Hell, I'd buy this right now if I had the cash, but my school job doesn't pay me for another month, and my second job won't pay me for another 2 weeks, so I'll just wait until it goes on sale on Steam. By the time that rolls around, maybe more FPers will be playing? I'd love to have a guild going.
By the time that rolls around, maybe more FPers will be playing? I'd love to have a guild going.
I'm at least 90% sure we had a Facepunch guild in TESO around the time of release but nobody seems to remember it whenever I ask to join.

I started a new game in skyrim for the hell of it. It begins with me standing next to the wagon I should be in, with all the Stormcloak prisoners standing around holding torches, the imperial on the horse walking into the back of the wagon, an the horse theif stuck in the ground under the wagon. The dialogue proceeds as normal despite no one moving. Once the base dialogue finishes, I suddenly teleport into the wagon which proceeds to fly off into the sky. The wagon just seizures against the skybox for a bit, and I keep hearing the location discovery noises. After a few minutes of this, I suddenly climb out of the wagon and fall to my death, then the game takes me back to the main menu. This sounds like I told the story before, because I have, only it was slightly different this time. I have no idea why the intro is broken either, since I only have frostfall and an ENB on right now.
Well to be fair to did fall and most likely on frost, that's probably what the game was thinking Frostfall is.
Didn't think it mattered.
That 2GB 760 is going to give you a hard time if you plan to run any ENB that isn't marked as "performance friendly" (biggest oxymoron in the world tho). So yes, your specs matter greatly.

I've tried a whole bunch of perk mods and I think my favorite one remains SPERG. It's versatile enough to be viable for all types of characters, the perk trees all function in relation to each other so it offers higher synergy, and it's the only perk mod I've found that offers natural character progression with the automatic perk system, which in my opinion feels a lot better than purely using perks to level up. The only gripes I have with SPERG is the lack of patch to make salvaging work with weapons/armor from other mods (a problem I've grown to ignore since I now disable salvaging entirely) and the relatively wonky nature of the unarmed system which conflicts with other mods and regularly conflicts with ingame brawl events.
so I love forgotten magic. i fuckin love it. recently i've been playing as a redguard warrior, focused on alteration and two handed. so I generally use Storm Armor and Earthbound Weapon. for those unfamiliar, storm armor is basically just to buff your electrical resistance, but the main reason I use it is because one of the upgrades for it allows you to move 50% faster out of combat - and without any sort of fortify speed spell in vanilla skyrim, I wanted the fuck out of that. something that was fast but not too fast and made walking around the overworld less of a chore. after my last playthrough (pure mage w/ forgotten magic) I decided to start trying out some different effects. the storm armor spell has this specific one that whenever you take damage, it'll spew out this electrical explosion hitting all enemies around you. however there's two things. first, it doesn't hit only enemies around you. it's all targets. this means allies (and if they're not companions, they'll turn hostile after a couple hits). second, it doesn't require that damage comes from an enemy. everyone i'm sure is quite familiar with props banging up against you to cause small (alternatively sometimes fatal) damage. usually it's just annoying. but with this spell, it creates gigantic electric explosions fairly often. most bizarrely, sometimes it happens purely at random. since my armor rating is pretty high (above the cap) the prop won't damage me, but the explosion will go off. i first started experiencing annoyance with it in falskaar, but it was never enough to warrant me changing it. then, it happened during a part of the companion's quest where it smacked aela who became hostile. each time, i'd just reload. that's when i decided okay i'm done with this upgrade, time to change it. but now something happened that i won't reload, because it was just too damn funny. i was in the middle of thinking "i hope a dragon shows up so I can kill it, and use the soul to reset these perks WITHOUT the electric explosion one" and I happened across Valdr, a wounded Nord hunter in the wilderness who's whole group of friends got murdered by spriggans. He asks if you have any potions or spells to help him out. I certainly wanted to oblige the good man, and agreed to help. As I pulled out a potion to give to him, I heard the slightest little clink. and then a pretty big boom. Valdr screamed in pain. His body slammed into the tree behind him and flew a couple feet. [t]http://i.imgur.com/yiWmYwk.jpg[/t] at least now I have a roleplay reason for my character to say fuck this spell. [t]http://i.imgur.com/tuvY05i.jpg[/t] what have i done
Any ideas for my character? I'm thinking of adding LoverSlab support with the dialouge option of "Hey kid wana yiff" [editline]20th April 2015[/editline] No but so far I've insulted the PC's race, added persuade intimidate, and bribe options
The Wheels of Lull is totally worth it just to get "Thomas the Screaming Tank Engine and his Screaming Friends" from Bhruce's father. That book is hilariously wrong on so many levels.
An option to kill it.
It's set to protected, meaning that only the player can kill it. Also there's already an option to kill it, during certain moments (like the one in my video) you can piss him off and kill him without getting a bounty.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/X1SlmFo.jpg[/t] I've been using this Reinforced Bosmer Armor since I got it near the beginning of the game, and I still haven't found anything I like enough to replace it. I'll probably just keep it for good and smith it until nothing can beat it. :v:
That's a problem with some mods, they accidently give you really strong items. An example would be getting a daedric tier sword at the level where shitty Orchish weapons drop when you use immersive weapons

Oh lordy, out of all the sidequests in Helgen Reborn I wouldn't have gripes for, I had to enjoy the one with the draugr crypt. Staadomar actually has a really fun climactic fight. [editline]asdf[/editline] Telekinesis seems to be an extremely handy, if also extremely situational, spell. I only find a legit use for it like once an ingame week but it always results in profit. Probably why I never used it before.
