Krosis always gave me trouble I think, but that's probably cause I always stumbled into him at a low level.

Krosis is only hard because you have to fight a leveled dragon at the same time as him unless you haven't started the MQ.

Thanks.

Anyone else think Bethesda will just avert the big unpreventable apocalypse that's going to happen eventually (according to the lore)? I doubt they'd let The World As We Know It end when TES is a perfect cash cow.

They can literally just use CHIM to fix anything.
made it so once you kill my follower, it creates a ghost of him
not sure if I should
1. make him follow the player and haunt him or her for the rest of the playthrough
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8RCQDDsMpU
3. let him drink all the mead in the riverwood sleeping giant inn
Gee Narri, you're right, what IS the hurry? There aren't any dragons burning down Falkreath or anything. Silly impatient me.

I guess Deadly Dragons thought I was overdue for a proper one-sided boss fight so it spawned a "Revered Dragon" right over the town. Lovely.

Combination of all three. He hunts you down, except on weekends when he goes to the local inn for a drink, and wields a lightsaber.

Kirkbride isn't associated with Bethesda anymore and the end of C0da was basically his way of saying "this is how I would have ended the games if I stayed with Beth, but since I'm not, I'm passing the torch to the new guy. Stop treating my word as gospel and let him tell the story from now on". So there might not even be an unpreventable apocalypse scenario anymore.
isn't it also the site that vore mod came from?
No. That, predictably, was a weeaboo site.

He doesn't work for Beth 24/7 but he's sure as hell associated. After Morrowind, he wrote the Mysterium Xarxes and plenty of other lorebooks, parts of the plot to Knights of the Nine I think (though apparently he hates that DLC), I'm pretty sure he wrote the entirety of Shivering Isles, and he wrote a bunch of things like Shor, Son of Shor and Heimskr's speech [sp]WE ARE BUTT-MAGGOTS[/sp] sometime before Skyrim came out that set the plot for the game. He doesn't always work for them, sure, but they certainly still have a lot of respect for him and love including his work where the average gamer won't be confused by it.
Also I highly doubt they're gonna use Lawrence Schick ever again, the ESO team is doing so much work trying to patch up the holes he leaves.

This is your town on dragon. Poor Falkreath.
A nice guy drew my character

Needs more buff.
-snip-
also i know i'm a few pages late but i wanted to say anyway
i generally used light armor in bethesda games, but with my last two playthroughs ive been using heavy armor
heavy armor past plate is ugly as shit, same with all of the heavy armor mods
you just look like a walking tank of ridiculous proportions like you're out of gears of war or something. i mean i get it from a fantasy point of view but it looks silly as shit imo. like the trollsbane armor mod in immersive armors makes your shoulders the width of a football goal lmao.
i ended up using the wolf armor because it's one of the few heavy armors that doesn't look silly as a mofo and is still capable of hitting the armor cap relatively easily. mixed that with the ebonsteel helm / gauntlets / boots for a pretty nifty look imo

Nordic Carved and Stalhrim look quite nice. I really love the balance of ornate and functional in the Nordic Carved.
Yeah for some reason modders like to throw big ass pauldrons on all their heavy armor, to the point where it looks like it would fit into a medieval themed Warhammer 40k series.

probably inspired by japanese mmos
guide to japanese mmo armor design:
males: HUGE AS FUCK UPPER TORSO
females: bikinis, flat chests (sometimes DD cups)

Make him pick up loose items and constantly say annoying lines as in 1:30

Every game has the player character fucking up a prophecy in some way, so even if there were some "THE WORLD ENDS NOW" prophecy, having just one person not bound by fate or destiny come in can stop it entirely.
I want to see the series keep going until they eventually have a game where tech in-universe has advanced to 1980s levels and we see Khajiit businessmen in suits running the Wall Street of the Imperial City
Implying Nirn will ever advance technologically (or culturally for that matter).
Everyone is far too lazy.
God that Deck16 tutorial and the creation kit is a piece of shit. Nothing is working properly.
I also made some accidental edits to vanilla npcs and I want to change it. The Deck16 tutorial talks about "yeah it's a major bug from this tutorial but w/e"

Use TESVEdit to remove those changes.

I've heard a pretty good theory that, what with it being a doomed universe and all, the only hope for which is escape through CHIM and achieving Amaranth, technology is regressing rather than progressing overall. After all, while we cam't judge much from Morrowind, Oblivion looked almost Renaissance or Colonial era, with a bookstore in every town, easy access to teleportation, spellcrafting, a centralized magical order which had its doors open to the public, and a prosperous Empire spanning the continent...
Flip over to Skyrim. Without the Mages' Guild, magical knowledge is hoarded, and kept hidden from the public, creating fear of magic. Teleportation barely exists anymore, half the world's books are burnt and there isn't a single bookstore, many cities are allowed to fall into ruin, and the old Empire is in its death throes, torn apart by racist extreme traditionalists. Suddenly, we're in the Dark Ages.
Throw in the loss of the Dwemer early on, and the deep lore weirdness with the Reman- and early Septim-era Imperial moon colonies and spacecraft, elven Sunbird airships and solar laser cannons, and all kinds of incredible magitech long since lost in the repeating cycle of war and chaos, and it makes a lot of sense.
god can i get a skyrim modding tutorial that doesn't have someone with a thick accent talk incredibly slowly and say pointless or contradictory shit
(im not asking anyone to grab me a video, I'm just bitching that 100% of the videos i've came across are absolute shit)
Did you check the official modding tutorial?
Did you check the official modding tutorial?
Yeah looked on that page. I was hoping to get a quick video but text is better. (if you mean the tes5clean)
but I might as well check the offical one
[editline]20th April 2015[/editline]
oh yeah I forgot, the official one is trash. It only tells you how to create a follower with a preset voice only, and an actor with a custom voice who isn't a follower.
[editline]20th April 2015[/editline]
fuck it, I'll just create a custom one. I was hoping to add EFF compatibility but nope.
[editline]20th April 2015[/editline]
Bethesda is so fucking trash when it comes to providing modding tools. You need so many third party tools to fix the bugs that they cause.
[editline]20th April 2015[/editline]
like i seriously need an expert on this
http://deck16.net/post/23596438875/making-a-unique-voiced-follower-in-skyrim-part-5
is this the right way to add a follower to the system? you're literally editing an imported quest file, and he later goes on to say "do this but I don't know what it does"

At some point in time, Pelinal Whitestrake, an insane robot knight with a lazer hand that murders elves, was created.
Am I dumb or does TES with technology actually kinda of a sweet idea? I mean it doesn't have to be like super advanced iron man or crysis stuff, just dwemer inspired inventions that use magic and whatnot.
