Does someone have the Nexus owner's email address on hand? The contact form's captcha is broken and I don't feel like setting up Tor to make a new alt just to try to get my main unbanned. I used to not care, but after Valve/Beth's criminal actions I think it's time to file an appeal.

I did it on the same computer they unfairly banned my first account on and years later, still nothing has happened. They really don't care unless you make it really obvious.

I'm kinda disgusted with people who've uploaded serious paid mods. I use this one retexture mod and the guy who made it has removed the DL link from the nexus and instead uploaded to the workshop as paid content. Like don't get me wrong, I'm all for modders getting some money and all but that is just screwed up.

I edited all the descriptions and Lolrus actually got them into the game and keeps it working.

You can't blame him for not updating the mod before if it would have taken a lot of time and effort that he couldn't reasonably invest in it without any financial incentive. Not that I think it's a good idea regardless but you can't really blame someone for wanting to get paid for work that they did.

He is not going to make money off it. People will pirate the shit out of it after the first person uploads it and that is going to be the end of it. We already saw the first day sales numbers and how contributors only made $700. Not $700 per person, $700 for everyone who has uploaded a paid mod. Meanwhile, Bethesda and Valve are walking away with several thousand already, which in the context of large companies like them is [I]nothing[/I]. I don't understand how anyone is thinking this is good at making money. This is good at making people angry.

There isn't much of a financial incentive anyway. He'll get $0.25 per sale (if everyone buys it at $1) and he can only retrieve the money if he gets up to $400. Good fucking luck.
