Oh god what the fuck he removed the mods from the nexus. This is pure greed, what a dick.

Think of it like an idiot cull for the community as a whole. None of these people will be seeing instant $$$$$ like they think, and the modders who had a soul to begin with either haven't sold out or have desisted from this bullshit.

Last night i was thinking this situation is stupid and fucking dumb, everyone agrees, valve and beth are being jews of the highest order here and i fully expect this system to fixed at some point. However... even if it doesn't, this won't be a huge proplem to get our hands on the mods anyway paywall isn't going to stop some people getting the mods and all it takes is one guy to grab it and reupload it before the entire internet can have it.

didnt I read somewhere that you could pay for it then ask for a refund within 24 hours? so... would it not be super easy to pay for it, relocate the mod files, then get it refunded?

I hate how defenders of this kind of shit always jump to accusing people of entitlement. Couldn't be mad about shoe companies deciding to force you to buy shoelaces separately from the shoes without people saying you're just an entitled prick for expecting your shoes to come with shoelaces.

SparrowPrince/OpticShooter (the author of BDS) has combined all of their mods into a big pack [url=http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13268/?]here[/url]. The STEP team is helped them look after the mod, and missing mods and updates/fixes to mods in the pack do get uploaded every so often.

I think the shock has worn off and I suppose unless something else happens we're done talking about it, but I think the funniest thing about all of this is that honestly I can't really consider these modders to be professionals. Besides the lacking quality/quanity of the 17 paid mods or so, its the fact that you're literally selling your work to a middle-man that does not care about you, will still publish your mod even if you want to delete it, and takes 75% of the profit. Most of these mods are sold for 1 USD or even less. What the hell are you going to do with 25% of 50 cents?

As much as I hate those LODs, upping your uGrids would probably kill your fps. What mod is this? Not planning to install it, just curious.

You could try generating LOD with TES5LODGen or DynDOLOD if you really want to unfuck your LODS (would be able to replace the distance overhaul then), though the process is a bit tricky depending on what mods you have installed.

I just learned that you can press SHIFT + \ to disable the ENB, thats a nice thing to know if you want to see what your skyrim would look like without an enb without removing d3d9.dll
