The hair is goddamn awful, actually worse than Apachii hair. Even if it doesn't spaz out (I assume HDT just spazzes a lot for me because of my mediocre fps or something), the textures on every HDT hair I've seen are [I]disgusting.[/I] At least there's a retexture for Apachii that makes some of them look passable.

Capes are cool, but I had to disable the Guard's capes mod I had on because sometimes when a cell loaded a guard's cape would spazz out and become the entire sky, or the cape would somehow make the guard invisible.

I tried out HDT for weapons and it just made my swords spin on my hip like a propeller, it happened no matter which version I installed.

I won't lie, it's been 3-4 years since I touched Oblivion.

And after making it my duty to play through from vanilla Morrowind for the first time, to replaying Oblivion, to playing FO3 and NV, and then Skyrim, there's one key important thing I forgot.

Seriously, fuck them. They could had just approached me and tell me about their trade and I'd had considered joining (I'm not against bounty hunting or killing people like that orphanage headmistress)
Of course, they just had to kidnap me in my sleep and force a sadistic choice on me. After taking Astrid's life, I went to that Imperial commander and executed them all (and it was fucking anti-climatic too, like so many quests in Skyrim)
If this makes you feel better, Lordgeorge16, I thought that Astrid's gear was too cool to waste and I adopted a new follower

Have to admit, was very surreal the first time you play and you murder that old cow in the orphanage without being asked, and they are all "SO YOU WANT TO JOIN OUR CLUB HUH?"
Or finding the abandoned shack FIRST and knowing exactly what it''l be used for later

i found the abandoned shack while traveling and had no clue what it was for

so i used the console to unlock the door and entered

instant wtf upon seeing you-know-what, talked to astrid and was like aw hell yeah i know where this is going, because i had [sp]done that little prick kid in windhelm's deed[/sp] and thought it went nowhere after that but i realized i hadn't slept like you had to in oblivion to get visited by lucien.

also i really enjoyed [sp]killing that asshat guy who set up the emperor deal inside the whiterun tavern. i got up, closed the door, pulled out my sword and slashed him across the chest, his dying words being "but... we had a deal!" and i laughed as i walked out.[/sp]

Honestly I didn't even think the DB questline was that great. Partly because I'm sick of being the super special chosen one who excels at everything. I wanted to be a good guy and kill them again my second playthrough but then I'd miss out on all that playtime.

Depending on your view, different things are loading and unloading in the world / cell causing reflections and Skylighting to behave differently. It's not really ENB, it's an engine limitation / feature.
