Does anyone know if there is a way to fix saves with massive file sizes (which result in longer loading times) one of my saves is [B][U]110MB[/U][/B] and I would like to actually play it again (specifically for Aliens218 mod) but you're talking about 30 second long loading and saving times I looked it up and entered clearinvalidregistrations in console and it said something about how it removed 0 invalidregistartions or something but others say "play for two hours and save again" [editline]1st February 2015[/editline] Just slept for 30 days only removed 40kb of data

I found the culprit its this footprints mod that doesn't like it when you uninstall it apparantly to "uninstall" it you have to enter a console command and you have to permanently have the esp forever and ever

[/QUOTE] I think I need someone to hold my hand through this I removed Unattached Instances and Terminated Active threads and the file is still 100MB

First you want to make a save in a small interior somewhere. Secondly, you want to run the script scalpel. Third, load up the edited save and make a new save in that same interior. You should see your save file size drop dramatically then. Afterwards run script scalpel again in case there's still slog left over.

That's only for crashes, right? I'm not crashing or anything it's just an incredibly long load time. Remove these instances. 4) The large amount of threads is still generated by these instances? ok turns out i needed to be a bit more patient when loading a 110MB file its suggesting that I remove 6863 scripts that involve throwing weapons from [url]http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36147/?[/url]

If you're having additional issues, it's likely some of your mods themselves that have become bloated within your saves. [t]http://i.imgur.com/7tu1ECM.jpg[/t] The stuff after the 'Remove Unattached Instances' messages is what tells you what's causing issues. If you're getting a lot of analysis spam telling you that multiple threads are coming out of a single instance of whatever, you will probably want to remove that mod, make a new save, and run script scalpel again. You can then reinstall it again after your saves start lightening up. EDIT: Also I'd generally just advise you to install [url=http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62017/?]Throwing Weapons Lite[/url] as a replacement to your current throwing weapons mod.
