Have you seen the UK's unemployment figures?
if i lived there or anywhere within the distance between new york and the uk, yes.
tl;dr no
I found the culprit
its this footprints mod that doesn't like it when you uninstall it
apparantly to "uninstall" it you have to enter a console command and you have to permanently have the esp forever and ever
What gave it away, the big red warning on the footprints page that says:
"**Uninstallation via removal or disabling of the ESP is not supported.**"
Anyway, that mod is glitchy at best, I never managed to get my own footprints to show up and judging from the comments I'm not alone.
Does anyone know an ENB preset that doesn't change color? I just want ENB for the parallax, shadows, and ENBoost things.
Download ENB at it's main download page. It doesn't have any lighting changes except removing the tint overlay (That can be disabled) and you can activate whatever effects you want.

That's because the footprints you make are based on the orientation of your player character's camera. If you walked straight forward, stop, then look down to see your foot prints, you'll notice that they look fine. But if you look straight down wand walk, then stop, the footprint decal is stretched and basically becomes invisible.

Is there anything special you need to do if you have Mod Organizer and SKSE and you want to install the ENB binaries or do you just drop the files in to the root Skyrim folder and load SKSE through MO as normal?

Drop ENB into main Skyrim folder. Should work with MO.

Actually the culprit was throwing weapons. I blamed footprints because as soon as I removed it, my filesize went from 10 MB to 20 MB and that warning.

Then don't make dumbass assumptions like that. The UK is a fucking mess right now - getting jobs is really difficult unless you want a 0 hours contract.
I'm going to need a little background with this mod because obviously I'm having some trouble with everything pretty much.
Even with cheated endgame armor and weapons, I'm having an incredibly difficult time killing anything in this game.
Once you kill some of the creatures, you should see how the lore unfolds. The creatures in the dungeon are basically people who got turned into those monsters to guard the treasures of it (currently adding the treasures), such as Baulroth who got kidnapped from an orphanage and turned into a Chimera. The mod gives you new spells you'll need to use, along with a ring that the Dragon Vithdovaah has in his hunting-area, keep looking and you'll find a corpse of an ascendant, take his ring. It gives you more health. Also take that spell from the one in Bleak Falls Barrow, it takes quite a bit of time to kill the monsters but we're trying to make it as enjoyable as possible. Any feedback/ideas?
How well optimized is it? Will it run better if I throw it through DDSopt?
now for whatever reason, my save wont load. It crashes on load and it gives no fucking crash log even with
[Papyrus]
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1
in skyrim .ini
What am I doing wrong?
Got 4 hours of playtime in ESO, just some early opinions (the thieving and murdering update isn't out yet, fyi):
Been playing as an archer; combat does feel somewhere between MMO combat and TES combat, but it's not as good as Skyrim's.
I have been playing as a tanky heavy armor wearing Orc archer however, so freedom to play as whatever you want to play is certainly there.
Quests so far are all right, I've only done one total fetch quest and it was just the blacksmithing tutorial.
Dialogue is decent enough, though some of it doesn't feel quite TES-y. I think that's just because some of it's better than Skyrim dialogue though. (voice acting is crap though)
I think they said they wanted it to feel like you were the only player? I sometimes mistake players for NPCs and vice versa so they seem to have succeeded there. It helps that most people playing seem to be lore-fanatics enough to have names matching their races, not a lot of xXxSephirothK1LL3RxXx here.
So far it does crap all over the lore a bit; I don't recall all Reachmen being chaotic evil druids.
Graphics settings are kinda weird; some stuff is hidden and can only be be changed by changing overall video quality. Game runs like crap on my laptop, but so does Skyrim; at Low quality settings with high textures, high subsampling, AO, and medium shadows it runs well enough (feels like 20 FPS, which Skyrim has gotten me to used to) and looks pretty OK. I don't have that much experience with modern MMOs and their usual level of graphical fidelity, but it looks very nice at highest settings for what I'm used to.
Overall, I'm enjoying it, but don't expect Skyrim Online or anything better than that.
edit: oh also it's lockpicking is like oblivion's except goddamned impossible jesus christ
edit: Orcs are Gym Elves, confirmed

Read the debug log you enabled and figure out what went wrong. It should be in the same folder hierarchy as your save files.

If you use the injector version, you'll need this in the ENB Injector ini:

It's a bit unplayable for me considering that even at a "honestly cheated" character, it's difficult to kill anything.
Like sure, the damage they dealt seems fair, BUT you do like 0.5% damage per second against everything. Really in order to kill anything it looks like you need to play super seriously as in be incredibly gay and use 100 paralyse potions whilst taking advantage of your 100 sneak skill
In order to play this mod you're going to probably need some other mods that give you powerful enchantments and/or weapons that can't be found in vanilla

I could just be really bad but what did your gameplay testers say about it and what equipment/tactics were they using?

I wouldn't be asking this question if I didn't know how to get it. It's just not even there.
I've spent the last two days learning how to make Creation Kit and I'm happy with my results so far:

are there any good mod packs?
I'm too lazy to go around looking for mods but if I absolutely have to I will, but finding a good mod pack would make shit easier
my god nexus is digustingly slow
5 minutes to download 4.1mb
Nope, any that exist probably have outdated mods anyways.
And frankly, knowing the mod community, even if you linked back to the original mod page and gave as much credit as possible to every mod in the pack, people would piss and moan about it because you're "stealing".
The most you can do without garnering ire is something like S.T.E.P., which is just a listing.

ESO, making Skyrim combat look good
The absolute must fucking have mods are:
ENBoost/ SKSE MEM patch (one or the other, can't use both) ENBoost is the logical winner as you can configure to use any extra ram you have as scratch space for cell/thread/state offloading
Unofficial everything Patch
SKSE
SkyUI
RaceMenu 3 is probably a good idea
That's pretty much it for "required", everything else is optional, also DO NOT DL the OFFICIAL HIGH RES PACK ever. For any reason.
I was reluctant at first, but in the end I decided to join Skyrim's thief guild and see where it brings me
If I got the SKyrim's general formula right, I'll either end up murdering the current leader and take his place, the leader will get killed and the members will have no other choice than to appoint me or I'll become one of the leaders anyway
My headcanon is that I'm trying to turn the guild in a force of (relative) good
Game keeps fucking freezing when exiting buildings. Was working fine before and now its fucked
[editline]a[/editline]
apparently it only fucks up if i start a game with alternate start starting in an inn or a house
[editline]3rd February 2015[/editline]
In other news, none of these population mods seem to want to work for me
[editline]3rd February 2015[/editline]
once again shit works after i complain about it
god dammit

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.
Although it kind of makes sense as it goes along, I really hate how they shoehorned a Daedric quest into the Thieves Guild. I just wanted to steal shit and help a crime syndicate thrive and expand throughout the nation.

What is wrong with the official one? It gets replaced with other texture mods anyway.

Certainly one of the more..'unique'..Serana mods I've stumbled across.
Still pissed off that I can't play my mage save. I only had like, 25 mods installed and now, even with everything unequipped or turned off it just crashes to desktop when i try to load it on my laptop :(

whats nice about the thieves guild is that you can. You can do the bit where you spread the thieves guild's influence without getting wrapped up in the daedric mess

Turns one already dull character into Garbage. How fitting.
[sp]If you think I'm calling Ellie from TLOU Garbage seriously, it's just a reference to Two Best Friends Play[/sp]
