So in the Thieves Guild storyline in Skyrim you are apparently forced to become [sp]a Nightingale[/sp] While the armor set is both cool and useful (I'll stick to Morokei and the Vampire Royal Armor, though), I have issue with [sp]my spirit being bound in the service of Nocturnal[/sp], although we'll see how that will turn out eventually, given your character is basically a phisical god
Already answered in the thread. You are Akatosh's straight from the beginning, as you are dargonborn.
Well, I uninstalled some mods that I was 90% sure wouldn't cause dependency issues, and without warning, a few sessions later, I can't load up Skyrim anymore because every save game causes a CTD when I try to open it. Fuck everything.
Already answered in the thread. You are Akatosh's straight from the beginning, as you are dargonborn.
Even without his intervention, and even supposing he doesn't clear any questline, your character makes a living out of sucking out the souls of the ancestral creatures who created the whole world by their VOICE alone. You can store virtually hundreds of them, learn all the shouts there are and [sp]Dragonborn allows you to syphon the soul of the first dragonborn, who in turn consumed his fair share of gods' souls[/sp] Truly, my character in Skyrim is the most badass character I've played in a videogame ever
You know, I just realised something, whatever happened to Jyggalag? Given that the curse was broken and he was set free. Like... You can't find any reference to him in Skyrim at all, it's honestly weird as hell, you'd think he'd be stretching that new found freedom out a bit, perhaps contact the Dragonborn for a cheeky side quest for his sword or something? I mean quite frankly I would have loved if he had came back, his design was badass, the design of his minions were badass and just the idea of a Daedric Prince of Order is very interesting.
He's never going to appear again. It's just how Bethesda rolls. Pretty much anything besides the main quest of the previous games is never going to be confirmed or deconfirmed. It'll stay in limbo forever.
Is there such a thing as a Steam Valentines sale? I want to buy the DLC (And possibly the legendary edition if it's generally cheaper) That brings me to a question about purchasing the legendary edition. If I purchase the legendary edition, can I gift the the base game (no dlc) to my friend and keep the dlc to myself? Or is it bundled together? I would ask steam support about this but they're down.

While they didn't mention Jyggalag in Skyrim, they kinda sorta a little vaguely implied the events of the DLC happened, in Sheogorath's roundabout way.
considering what Jyggalag is and how he came to be Sheogorath in the first place, it's likely that we won't hear from/about him for two possible reasons. 1.) The other Daedre heard about him being released and killed him or he went in to hiding to avoid just such Remember, Jyggalag was the most powerful of the Daedra and they all teamed up to turn him into Sheogorath to fuck with him since he was the no fun police. So now that he's been released from their Sheogorath prison, they would probably try to get rid of him another way. They certainly wouldn't let him back into power and they definitely wouldn't just leave him alone. 2.) Bethesda plans to use him again in the future. It's possible that he went away somewhere to avoid the other Princes and regain some of his power to try and overthrow them and retake his place or something. In which case we won't hear anything about him until eventually he's in the game again and trying to take over everything or something. Alternativelly, there's hidden option C.) The events of The Shivering Isles didn't actually work and he was eventually sucked back into Sheogorath after all.
if you buy the legendary edition while already owning the base game it just gives you the dlcs.
Yeah I looked it up to confirm it and that's fucking trash lmao I should just get another copy of the game that I can give away
Speaking of Jyggalag, would you consider him a "good" Daedric Prince? Order allows for you not to be shanked by some cultist weirdo on the road after all.
Speaking of Jyggalag, would you consider him a "good" Daedric Prince? Order allows for you not to be shanked by some cultist weirdo on the road after all.
At the risk of sounding edgy Too much order is bad.
Speaking of Jyggalag, would you consider him a "good" Daedric Prince? Order allows for you not to be shanked by some cultist weirdo on the road after all.
Not really. If he had his way, Tamriel would be a police state dedicated to order and nothing else. No fun allowed.
Perhaps, as that would be slavery. Him being the most powerful Daedra isn't the greatest idea, but he's sure as hell better than Molag Bal.
Speaking of Jyggalag, would you consider him a "good" Daedric Prince? Order allows for you not to be shanked by some cultist weirdo on the road after all.
He was basically a totalitarian Daedric Prince, he pissed everyone off.
Pissed off who though? The Daedric Princes? If so pissing them off is probably for the betterment of mortals. IE: Jyggalag keeps them in order, mortals rejoice.
Speaking of Jyggalag, would you consider him a "good" Daedric Prince? Order allows for you not to be shanked by some cultist weirdo on the road after all.
nah then you end up with some harrison bergeron shit but with sick crystals
Perhaps, as that would be slavery. Him being the most powerful Daedra isn't the greatest idea, but he's sure as hell better than Molag Bal.
He's better than most daedric princes. I should compile a list. Better Meridia Nocturnal Hircine Clavicus Vile Azura (I'm going to forget about my moonsugarpot conspiracy theory about how she was involved in the disappearance of the Dwemer Race and put her relatively high) Mephala Jyggalag Sanguine Hermaeus Mora Peryite (honestly I don't know where to put him, he's literally a weaker version of Namira) Namira Vaermina Sheogorath Boethiah Molag Bal Mehrunes Dagon Worse Now If you noticed I left out Malacath, I have no knowledge about Malacath whatsoever because he's incredibly boring, he is literally shit.
sheo shouldn't be that far down tbh
He's better than most daedric princes. I should compile a list. Better -your list- Worse Now If you noticed I left out Malacath, I have no knowledge about Malacath whatsoever because he's incredibly boring, he is literally shit.
Malacath is pretty good I'd say, it's just that his whole thing is being the target of infinite bullying so no one likes him. Jyggalag and Peryite are closely related (Peryite is Daedric Prince of Order as well, for whatever reason. Stole Jygg's spot, I guess?), and both neutral as hell. Peryite has no evil intent behind spreading disease, it's just his job; and Jygg doesn't care much for right or wrong, just that everything is in order. Mehrunes isn't that horrible either, he may be Prince of Destruction but he's also Prince of Change. Really, Molag Bal is the only completely irredeemable Prince. I'd order it like this: Pretty cool guy yo 1. Meridia 2. Azura (when she's done something terrible it's generally justified, at least by Daedra standards) 3. Malacath 4. Nocturnal 5. Hircine 6. Clavicus Vile 7. Nocturnal 8. Sanguine 9. Namira 10. Sheogorath (he kinda jumps around though, his appearance in Skyrim and Oblivion seems more on the edge of decent and neutral to me. Evidently he likes to get chummy with the heroes.) 11. Peryite 12. Jyggalag 13. Hermaeus Mora 14. Boethiah 15. Vaermina 16. Mehrunes Dagon 17. Molag Bal One wicked son of a Sithis
sheo shouldn't be that far down tbh
Isn't he like the king of mental disorders?
Isn't he like the king of mental disorders?
Daedric Prince of Madness, yeah. Works out to be the chaotic Daedra who happens to like crazy people. He doesn't typically do anything horrible, but when he does, it's BAD. Most of the time he's content to make it rain cheese and shelter the insane in his own personal paradise, though.

Basically, Jyggalag was the Deadric Prince of Order. He was starting to become really powerful and the other Princes became fearful of his power. So they cursed him to become what he hates the most: Madness and Chaos, thus taking the form of Sheogorath. But at the end of every era in the Shivering Isles, an event called the Graymarch happens when Sheogortah regains his original form of Jyggalag and destroys the current realm with his army of Order. But he is still cursed and will eventually turn back into Sheogorath and rebuilds his madness realm. The Champion of Cyrodill breaks the cycle by taking the "role" of Sheogorath and defeats Jyggalag and prevents the Greymarch from happening. When you defeat Jyggalag he has this speech: "Enough! I am beaten. The Greymarch is ended. For millennia this drama has unfolded, and each time, I have conquered this land, only to be transformed back into that gibbering fool, Sheogorath. It was not always so. Once, I ruled this Realm, a world of perfect Order. My dominion expanded across the seas of Oblivion with each passing era. The other Princes, fearful of my power, cursed me with Madness, doomed me to live as Sheogorath, a broken soul reigning in a broken land. Once each era, I was allowed my true form, conquering this world anew. And each time I did, the curse was renewed, damning me to exist as Sheogorath. Now, though, you have ended the cycle. You now hold the mantle of madness, and Jyggalag is free to roam the voids of Oblivion once more. I will take my leave, and you will remain here, mortal. Mortal...? King? God? It seems uncertain. This Realm is yours. Perhaps you will grow to your station. Fare thee well, Sheogorath, Prince of Madness." By the events of Skyrim, it's heavily hinted that the Sheogorath the Dragonborn encounters was the Champion of Cyrodill and that Jyggalag is probably still roaming the voids of Oblivion doing something that we are never told about.
It really bothered me that there were no shrines to Jyggalag in Skyrim. You'd think that in 200 years he'd try to regain some of his former glory.
For fucks sake the compatibility patcher for perkus maximus keeps giving me
There was an exception thrown during the program execution: 'java.lang.nullpointerexception'

It really bothered me that there were no shrines to Jyggalag in Skyrim. You'd think that in 200 years he'd try to regain some of his former glory.
He talks about his power growing an era at a time. That's a long fucking chunk of time. Plus, if the other princes hate him as much as they do, I'd think any shrines of his would be either destroyed or so well-hidden that even we couldn't find them. I'm really hoping they're keeping Jyggalag in reserve for something awesome in the next game. Theoretically, since he's the prince of order, and if he's still alive, couldn't he come fuck up the Thalmor if they get too uppity? They want to wipe out literally everything that isn't them. I dunno, maybe I just want to invade Summerset with a bunch of those Order Knights at my back.
I hope the next game is set in Akavir.
I hope the next game is set in Akavir.
I personally hope for something like Elsweyr. I like ancient desert themed stuff and it would be a cool contrast to skyrim.
