So today I met Paarthurnax I really hope Alduin will put up much more of a fight when he'll reappear as the final boss
hahahahHAHHAHAH No.. Download this
hahahahHAHHAHAH No.. Download this
As I said, I won't download any mod that alters the main game too much. Even for the better
As I said, I won't download any mod that alters the main game too much. Even for the better
It makes Alduin's fight much more like a boss fight (5 or so stages to fight him in). Because he becomes piss easy at the last fight.
As I said, I won't download any mod that alters the main game too much. Even for the better
Ok then Enjoy your... "Boss fight"
So today I met Paarthurnax I really hope Alduin will put up much more of a fight when he'll reappear as the final boss
my god you are just adorable
my god you are just adorable
Consider that Skyrim is basically my first and only TES game ever, and one of the few Bethesda games I've every played aside Dishonored On a side note:
hahahahHAHHAHAH No.. Download this
I downloaded that in one of my binge modding sessions and when I got to the Fight I was wondering why nothing happend and it was just the lame normal fight. Halfway through Dawnguard later I realized I never installed the mod because I was so busy downloading more mods
So yeah, I've faced Alduin. It was depressing. I mean, the fucking Draugr Deathlords coming at me two at a time in the previous dungeon were far more challenging. And that mandatory dragon priest was embarassing. Now I just want to clear the main campaign of Dragonborn, buy that house in Solitude, marry Lydia and adopt poor Sofie. And forge the ultimate dragon mask Say, can I ask you if there are other interesting questline I wouldn't like to miss? Consider I have all the three DLCs
Can you elaborate on this?
Sorry, turns out it's just one quest. But you can choose your reward at the end and the puzzles are, for once, actually quite challenging. It's very lengthy though.
world eater beater, i believe, is the name of the mod you might want to check out.
that's the one i linked on the last page. but he said
As I said, I won't download any mod that alters the main game too much. Even for the better
Which is just the most stupid thing i've read in a long while and i read youtube comments
Which is just the most stupid thing i've read in a long while and i read youtube comments
It's not really. It's his first play through, and he wants to experience the game as intended. Also, at least some of the Deadric Quests are decent as well.

THAT MAKES NO SENSE TO ME
I can only see this whole "I don't want to alter the game too much" making sense if you're adding stuff that will make things easier
But i don't understand why do you want a BAD thing, when you can have a GOOD thing instead! THAT MAKES NO SENSE TO ME
Generally, I don't like to add things to a game to the point it's too much different from what the developers intended. It's just a principle of mine, nothing more, nothing less When it comes to modding a game I usually download the files that either tweak the existing gameplay/apparel or fix stuff Speaking of that mod you suggested, the whole "stomach phase" is CHEESY AS FUCK and makes no FUCKING sense
Requiem is cool until you meet a troll and have not yet found a silver sword.
Or a Draugr. Pretty much just run, as fast as you can.
What are good gameplay overhauls that makes the game more realistic. Would be nice having everything die quicker instead of having to wack someone with a sword 10 times. Bonus points if its compatible with immersive weapons and immersive armour I've tried skyre and I'm over that.
Try DUEL-Combat Realism with Revenge of the Enemies or Combat Evolved. There's also some more immersion mods that are not strictly combat, but help out like; Arrow sticking, Realistic Ragdolls, and Dead Body Collision.

What difficulty would you people recommend to use with them? I want to actually die once in a while, I want to feel the need to quick save every 10 seconds cause I'm afraid of dying any time, any place. [editline]8th February 2015[/editline] actually, i'm gonna be running around with at least a companion or two so guess i might as turn it up to the hardest setting
I want to feel the need to quick save every 10 seconds cause I'm afraid of dying any time, any place.
Requiem is a good mod for that. Would probably break your current setup though if you're using DUEL and Combat Evolved.
But i don't understand why do you want a BAD thing, when you can have a GOOD thing instead! THAT MAKES NO SENSE TO ME
This may come as a surprise to you, but some Elder Scrolls fans aren't jaded twits and actually enjoy the series. [editline]banana[/editline] On a separate but also related note, I'll never understand why people recommend World Eater Beater. It's super fucking cheesy, very poorly designed, and doesn't fit the game literally at all. Sure the fight with Alduin is pretty lack-luster, but I'd rather have a normal fight that is kinda easy than have some completely ill-fitting staged boss fight like I'm playing a hack and slash game like Devil May Cry or something. The only thing World Eater Beater is missing is QTEs. And don't even get me started on the part where Alduin fucking eats you and you're fighting worms in a giant cave with red lights that's supposed to be his stomach. Don't get me wrong, the fight itself can be pretty neat and parts of it are definitely an improvement, but literally everything else about the mod, the stages, the stomach cave, the floating platforms, the giant red glowing "WEAKSPOT HERE" crystals, is super bad.

I expected a fight The fight lasted only a few seconds. it left a bad taste.
So here's a random question [del]because I'm lonely[/del]; what do you folks think about Miraak? I personally liked him quite a lot [sp]I tolerated the stealing of my dragon souls only because it was good character building and also strangely badass on his part. I think I've heard people complain about his boss battle too, but I personally liked it[/sp], but I was thinking about it and realized that a. I've never heard anyone have any opinion on him and b. he seems like he could be a polarizing character.

It honestly felt like total shit, because I had more trouble handling the guy guarding the Hall of Valor than Alduin.
As I said, I won't download any mod that alters the main game too much. Even for the better
Then don't bitch about it being shit when a fix is within your reach. We told you it was shit, you said this, and then you go "well, that was depressing" like we didn't already tell you it was shit
It honestly felt like total shit, because I had more trouble handling the guy guarding the Hall of Valor than Alduin.
I remember that fight. I got my shit wrecked the first time because I hadn't realized the fight started and he killmoved me within a few hits. Afterwards I kicked his shit in. Khajiit unarmed is so OP in Skyrim, even when I was a mage.
