heavy, because once you equip a follower in anything above orcish you win the game outright
But this is for the player. Criteria: For the player, end game, vanilla [editline]22nd February 2015[/editline] I agree that heavy armor is good early to mid game but late game is where it starts to fall off [editline]22nd February 2015[/editline] is this a moba
Heavy scales, light does not as well. Heavy is better.

I'M RIGHT AND YOU'RE WRONG AND I WIN not but really I do prefer heavy armor over light armor but if you're trying to do a super serious playthrough then light armor is the way to go
Wrong. Heavy's DR against everything makes it scale better, Light's DR does not cover everything and is therefore factually inferior.
Visited forelhost with Marcurio and spent the better part of an hour battling through it. Endless waves of draugr wights and scourges. If he wasn't there I never would have defeated Rahgot. Never experienced anything as difficult as this in Skyrim.
Wrong. But the benefits they give with perks are the difference. Pretty much go for light by the endgame if you want a faster stamina regen(who doesn't?) and heavy if you like fisting things.
LoversLab made a birthing mod like, having a baby with trimesters and menstruation and everything that's biologically correct with having a child and it now comes with a baby model i'm quite impressed, rather happy and deeply saddened by it all Hearthfire aint got shit on this. :suicide:
can i prego an argonian male as a catgirl and make a lizardcatbaby [editline]22nd February 2015[/editline] catgirl argonians
apparently it takes only the mother's race but don't put it past them.

does anyone know how to make an object reflective? apparantly Im supposed to use nifskope and edit the NiMaterialProperty value but I can't find it
You can't make it actually reflective, you have to fake it like garry's mod and add a cubemap.
You can't make it actually reflective, you have to fake it like garry's mod and add a cubemap.
I just want to make this non shiny armor shiny and I don't know how I would go along doing that.
I just want to make this non shiny armor shiny and I don't know how I would go along doing that.
Edit the normal maps of the texture (texturename_n.dds) to be more opaque.
when they were first writing The Real Barenziah was "turgid penis" as funny back then as it is now or was Michael Kirkbride just possessed by some eldritch premonition of the ages
...shouldn't that be the specular maps? Or does Skyrim not use those.
when they were first writing The Real Barenziah was "turgid penis" as funny back then as it is now or was Michael Kirkbride just possessed by some eldritch premonition of the ages
The word "penis" has been funny since at least the Roman Empire.
...shouldn't that be the specular maps? Or does Skyrim not use those.
Skyrim's specular maps are the alpha channel of the normal maps.
Edit the normal maps of the texture (texturename_n.dds) to be more opaque.
It doesn't come with one
It doesn't come with one
Hold on. What armor are we talking about? A mod armor or a vanilla armor?
Hold on. What armor are we talking about? A mod armor or a vanilla armor?
It's a mod armor. I'm probably fucked hahaha the only other file it comes with is an _msn suffix and that just controls the bumpiness of the light or something
is it a retexture or is the mesh altered?
Both, actually. And no, it's not meant to be a balverine, it's meant to resemble the Underworld Werewolf William. We plan on changing the body as-well as touching up the head.
It's a mod armor. I'm probably fucked hahaha the only other file it comes with is an _msn suffix and that just controls the bumpiness of the light or something
First you'll need to add an alpha layer to the msn file and fill it with something like white or light gray. Then you'll want to make a new file called (name)_en.dds. Fill that with either white or light gray too. Then in the nif file itself you'll want to change the Skyrim Shader Type to Environment Map, if it's not already. In the textures section, add the (name)_en.dds to the texture list on the sixth row. Then, on the fifth row right above it, type in "textures\cubemaps\QuickSky_e.dds" Or you can just send me the textures and the nifs and I'll do my best. EDIT: Also, make sure 'Environment Mapping' is checked in the Skyrim Shaders 1 section and 'Env Map Light Fade' is checked in the Skyrim Shaders 2 section, if they aren't already.

So I'm RP'ing a Bosmer ranger type that abides by the Green Pact. Something that's become apparent is that this is going to make alchemy problematic. I'm curious, does the 'no harming/eating plant life' rule apply to plant life outside of Valenwood? I know that all wood outside of Valenwood is free game, and some places I've seen people lump plant life in with that rule, and some places have said they're separate.
The word "penis" has been funny since at least the Roman Empire.
Legend has it that Caligula once ordered his bodyguards to kill him because he couldn't get himself to laugh when someone told him a dickjoke and was gravely concerned that he was possessed. The body guards didn't do anything though. Funny thing though, this was before he went crazy. Maybe he really was possessed by some spirit that made him kooky.
