No veggies allowed, cannibalism is okay, Light Armor/Clothes only. No particular goals other than explore. Spergy edgelord who hates magic, goal is to SCP all the daedric artifacts and hide them in a secret location somewhere in the frozen wastes. I'm making a cross-post from STGYM thread, I hope I get my point across okay: Does anybody know of any good Oblivion mods that tweaks the lighting outside? you know what i'd like? an overhaul mod that changes the terrain into pine wilderness not tropical like that one mod but rather uninteresting normal unsnowy lands kinda sick of it all now.

Someone made a snow mod for Fallout 3 by just replacing most of the land textures with snowy textures from the Anchorage DLC. Could probably do the same thing by replacing most textures with Bruma's. ((i mean't for oblivion))

I'm pretty sure your character's eyes would get used to low light levels like that, right?

You can actually change a character's hair, eye color, skin textures and facial geometry all without having to download a hair mod or install an esp. You can even give someone glowing eyes without an esp. I think I might be the only person who figured that out because I'm the only person dumb enough to manually edit a head nif file.
So why'd the legion armor go from Roman in Morrowind to something else in Oblivion, then back to Roman again in Skyrim?

In Cyrodiil they wear the Oblivion armor, in all foreign provinces they wear the Morrowind/Skyrim armor. The simpler answer is that Bethesda doesn't give much of a shit and wanted to make Cyrodiil more generic fantasy Europe :v:
why did they want a generic fantasy setting for oblivion anyway? was that just the style at the time it came out?
I need some advice. I'm going back through oblivion and collection souls of important NPCs to make an enchanted daedric suit of souls. So far I have the arena grand champion and Umbra. Who/what else could I kill that is unique? (I know all black souls are the same, I'm just roleplaying)

The King of Worms would be a good choice, but he has innate magic resist, so there's a bit of RNG there. The traitor from the Dark Brotherhood questline might be a good choice, depending on his definition of important.
