there should be a bethesda modding appreciation station when you're looking for mods you tend to encounter really funny shit like this
Yeah seriously the Alduin fight was so underwhelming. I have trouble facing 3 draugrs but the mighty Alduin is killed really simply?
Note that exploits don't work if you have Skyrim Unofficial Patches. Those fucking buzzkillers.
I don't really see the point of going through the trouble of exploits on the pc when you have access to the console, which can do the same thing but quicker.
I don't really see the point of going through the trouble of exploits on the pc when you have access to the console, which can do the same thing but quicker.
Because exploits are often fun and interactive and generally aren't outright cheating unless done to excess, whereas the console is literally just typing shit in a box to cheat.
link me i need this
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57416/? I was looking for a mod that makes Ghorbash's weight 100 and automatically fixes his neck seams and I found this
Playing a one handed dual wielding character is easy mode, especially against Dragons. I massacred Alduin in a ridiculously short space of time by using the faster swings dragon shout, some decent swords and the dual handed power attack spam. I've found the game more challenging playing a one handed + shield sort of character, since indiscriminate shield bash spam or power attack spam is far less of an abusive and effective tactic
999 Alchemy Take down Alduin with one poisoned arrow.
That's possible without exploits. With legitimately acquired enchantments and the right ingredients you can make poisons that will deliver 600+ damage over the span of 30 seconds or so. Tagging most enemies with it basically ensures their death Also, If you kept the jarrin root from the DB quest, you can use that to make a poison that will do like 8000 damage

Man it is really sad how easy it is to beat a game with no modding to burn one out. I'm almost to the final part of the main quest on the xbox version. But then I'm gonna decide whether or not I want to continue and start the Dawnguard DLC or, stop, erase all saves except for the very last save of my character, and start again. [editline]12th March 2015[/editline] also for the first time I've actually managed to legit make my own Daedric armor with no cheating or consoles or anything.
What am I meant to do with dragon bones and scales? Right now I'm just hoarding them up.
What am I meant to do with dragon bones and scales? Right now I'm just hoarding them up.
sell or craft into weapons or armour
What am I meant to do with dragon bones and scales? Right now I'm just hoarding them up.
If you not playing a warrior type character, or someone investing in the Heavy armor tree, or investing in Smithing crafting, then you could just sell them for loads of money. Otherwise you grind the hell out of that Smithing Tree, save the bones and scales, and craft the deadliest weapons in the entire game, along with having either Scale armor (light), or Boneplate armor (Heavy), and on top of that, Legendary Smithing improvement level to boot.
What am I meant to do with dragon bones and scales? Right now I'm just hoarding them up.
Can you make dragonbone crossbow bolts? I forget. I know that's how I used to get rid of my piles of dwemer ingots, make mountains of crossbow bolts. [editline]13th March 2015[/editline] At least I thought I did, I might be mistaken. It's been a while since I played.
Speaking of dwemer ammo, Dwarven Arrows have by far my favorite color scheme.
You can't, but I'm sure there's a mod out there
Could always make dragonbone weapons and arrows, I guess. But I think you need dawnguard for that.
Could always make dragonbone weapons and arrows, I guess. But I think you need dawnguard for that.
You need Dawnguard for both Crossbows and Bolts + Arrowsmithing

Cause right now I'm just hunting leather, looting ores and ingots and just crafting whatever the fuck. I'm at 51 and it's slowed down a lot.
Because exploits are often fun and interactive and generally aren't outright cheating unless done to excess, whereas the console is literally just typing shit in a box to cheat.
I dont really see how exploits aren't cheating.
Yeah, if its in the game, its fair.
console commands are in the game
exploits are cheating, it gives you a said advantage over others playing the game. (and dont strawman this with fov and other shit, that obviously doesnt count) There is a reason why developers get rid of them, not because they're buzzkillers (lol) but because it negatively impacts their game. Same with why they are punished in competitive gaming.

This ain't dark souls where I can invade another player, this is TES.

This ain't dark souls where I can invade another player, this is TES.
I can't remember the name of it, but this is a thing in game design. If you give players one option that's better than everything else, nine times out of ten they'll choose that. It makes for boring gameplay since players will always do the same thing. Skyrim has this issue a lot. See: unarmed playthroughs only being done as jokey gimmicks or by using exploits, nobody ever using most alteration spells, or never reverse pickpocketing poisons.
