Fargoth is neither invincible nor an annoying shit who follows you to the ends of Mundus. The similarities end at Bosmer.

I feel like I'm at the middle ground where I like Skyrim to be both colorful and bleak depending on the weather and surroundings, but overall I like a lot of saturation and color variation in the environments.

Meanwhile the interiors ALL must be super colorful with unnecessarily dramatic lighting.
They've already stated the performance requirements for Skywind will likely be higher than Skyrim due to putting more detail props around, so if you already get poor performance in Skyrim you probably will have to.

I can run Skyrim on High fine, but yeah I'll probably have to lower the settings.
Morroblivion ran at 20FPS with everything maxed out like I do with Oblivion.
So I have continued to tweak my Skyrim to make it look as nice as possible with the least impact on performance. This currently gets 60 fps indoors (actually higher but I had to limit it because everything flew around the room and tried to kill me) and 50 outdoors with some drops down to 30 depending on the situation. Ill use shadowplay a bit later to upload some of it in action.
Is ESO actually good now after the update? I'm extremely tempted to get it.

someone needs to add TESO to that.
Anyone know what the Skyrim update did today? I just got home and it's updated for some reason.
Got a 1.1MB update too.
I wonder how many mods this is going to break.

I'm considering it right now as $46 is the closest to $40 it'll get for me right now, and I doubt Steam will want to go for $40 in one of it's sales either.
Is that site legit? the word same is horrible mispelt, and I've never used GMG before.
fuck that, i'll wait for the xmas sale before i consider purchasing.

someone help me out, if I wait until summer sale, that's the most % in price ESO could do down, on Steam's Store?
optimistically, i reckon the most it would get discounted is 50%, but knowing how money grubbing companies can be, it'll probably be 33%
I found two used copies for decent prices, but it's Amazon and I'm not sure if it can be legit or not.
I think I'll just wait for either a sale on steam or Summer Sale.
I've been lost to Bioware for over several months now.
What's new in TES-land?
Is ESO actually good now after the update? I'm extremely tempted to get it.
ESO was never bad, it just has management issues.
Such as being overpriced, having design flaws, bugs that take months to be fixed etc.
They have sorted out most of those issues though.
I have the weirdest opinion when it comes to Elder Scrolls. Daggerfall and Oblivion rank among some of my all time favorite games. I mean I love Morrowind and Skyrim to death, but I love Daggerfall and Oblivion so much more.

"Having design flaws" is not a management issue. That's part of the game. Bugs are also part of the game, and generally contribute to a product being bad.
You literally just said "It's not bad, except for the parts that are."
I wish Oblivion wasn't such an arse to mod. What i'd give for some steam workshop style integration.

This is exactly I thought my Skyrim would look like when I bought it on Steam.
Recently I created a profile in Mod Organizer for the purpose of using as many stupid mods as possible.

What I'd give just to have Mod Organizer support.

Its not really that hard, its about as hard as Fallout or Skyrim except less things are packaged in obmms.
Is ESO actually good now after the update? I'm extremely tempted to get it.
I was surprised how much as changed from release, its 100% better and less buggy now. They completely overhauled the beginning section after player complaints and all of the bugs I previously experienced are now long gone. There is still the few MMO specific issues such as overcrowding and guild invite spam but that's it. Those who are saying that it didn't change haven't played it in a while or are just needlessly bashing it. They added a fuck ton new crap, including that ability to pickpocket/murder/steal shit and sell crap to fences a la Thieves guild style and new champion skill trees based of Skyrim and shit. So ya its great after the update, but anyone new should wait till it goes on sale because as with everything its not going to be everyone's cup of tea.
Say what you will about ESO, but you cannot deny that the devs are listening to the players and have even implemented/changed shit that players called for, such as being able to skip the beginning and such.
Got a 1.1MB update too.
Whoa, an update? Making me feel all nostalgic.
Oblivion isn't that much of a pain to mod, it's just that very few Oblivion mods are packaged to support mod installation programs. With the exception of a few notoriously awkward mods (such as deadly reflex) all that's needed is dragging and dropping folders.
