guys please do not crucify me on this one, I am a small idiotic baby child. Something has been on my mind... I don't understand the love for the digitigrade argonians in Morrowind. I think they look kinda silly. Reason is: A) Morrowind's the outlier on this one and every mainline TES game with argonians has had plantigrade ones as far as I know except for Morrowind, and B) most common lizards in the modern world are plantigrade, not digitigrade. they have the silliest of all the walk animations too which is surprising considering Morrowind is a game entirely centered around silly walk animations am I missing something? Like, yeah, they look like raptors but they look like silly raptors. They look like they're seconds from pooping their pants. I think it's the problem of sticking a human walking gait on a body shape (digitigrade legs) that are more suited to creatures that need to run fast and not use arms, which argonians in TES definitely need to use their arms. So it just makes em look kinda silly. nothing
Strangely enough, I think ESO did it the best. They're plantigrade like everyone else, but they have noticeable claws and lizardy feet rather than weird scaly human feet. TBH I think both Khajiit and Argonians look their best in ESO, they've got a good mix of their appearances in every game going on.
I wish Oblivion wasn't such an arse to mod. What i'd give for some steam workshop style integration.
Shouldn't be too hard, you can install 95% of the mods in one of these two ways: Unzip the mod to Oblivion\Data Open the mod in Oblivion Mod Manager or Wrye and double click on it.
Whoa, an update? Making me feel all nostalgic.
well they were suppose to be changing how workshop was integrated with the game.
"Having design flaws" is not a management issue. That's part of the game. Bugs are also part of the game, and generally contribute to a product being bad. You literally just said "It's not bad, except for the parts that are."
They're parts that are bad due to stupid executive meddlinh. Such as making it a massive grind to get to VR14 because they keep nerfing XP. Or witholding new content for after the console release. The lore, the quests, the game itself, the world, it's amzing. That and Mer look best in ESO. They don't look like abominations like in Skyrim, they're closer to their appearance in earlier games, but you can get pretty close to a Skyrim appearance too. It's one of the things I love about ESO, the customization is very extensive for characters.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/uTXnf0b.jpg[/t] How did Bretons go from badass warriors to boring old men?
bigger question is how Khajiit went from dudes with black shit on their faces to cat people
bigger question is how Khajiit went from dudes with black shit on their faces to cat people
There's like a bunch of forms of Khajiit, ranging from completely human to completely housecat.
Don't forget the best kind of Khajiit, the Mane. [t]http://lagbt.wiwiland.net/wikibiblio/images/b/b7/GuidePocheV1-35.jpg[/t]
Is ESO actually good now after the update? I'm extremely tempted to get it.
Yes.
Don't forget the best kind of Khajiit, the Mane. [t]http://lagbt.wiwiland.net/wikibiblio/images/b/b7/GuidePocheV1-35.jpg[/t]
khajit has hairs
Don't forget the best kind of Khajiit, the Mane. [t]http://lagbt.wiwiland.net/wikibiblio/images/b/b7/GuidePocheV1-35.jpg[/t]
1:56
There's like a bunch of forms of Khajiit, ranging from completely human to completely housecat.
and apparently in the like 20 years between daggerfall and morrowind, all the human looking ones got replaced with cat people
[t]http://i.imgur.com/py9l7iT.png[/t] How do you like my new clothes?
There is a new character creation mod called diverse character creation that looks pretty neat. Will try it out and give feedback. I also started using PerMa, it has some really cool perks but the descriptions are too vague, so the defluffing mod is necessary if one wants to play with it without having to look up every perk at every level up.
It's been a while since I last played Skyrim. I can see RaceMenu ended up getting some "interesting" new options during that time.
I have the weirdest opinion when it comes to Elder Scrolls. Daggerfall and Oblivion rank among some of my all time favorite games. I mean I love Morrowind and Skyrim to death, but I love Daggerfall and Oblivion so much more.
Did you play Daggerfall when it was new? If not, how do you get into it? It's aged worse than Morrowind has and I can't bring myself to enjoy it. Part of that is I can't even find my damn journal or figure out how to start quests, which makes running around the world pointless for me.

The journal is called the Log or the History and I think it's L by default, but I dunno just keep clicking buttons until you find it, there aren't that many keys anyway. As for starting quests, I can't really give you a guide on that since it just kind of came naturally to me. As people in town for work or go and join the guilds and talk to the guild master. Don't be afraid to use the wiki, Daggerfall is a very incoherent game at times but reading the wiki can definitely help bridge some gaps the first time you play it.

But how I play it is like:
I mean I really just like dungeon crawling in Oblivion and selling my loot back for tons of money. I play Daggerfall the same way. I enter a cheat code to find every location on the map, and I spend the game hopping from dungeon to town to dungeon to town, selling off loot and leveling up, until I get killed, then I start all over. Once I had so much gold on me I became over-encumbered. Daggerfall is like my favorite game of all time though, it's so addictive.
I rarely ever do quests in Daggerfall. Also pick the Knight class or make a custom class that's immune to paralysis, trust me you REALLY want to do that.
[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA0cB0i2hM4[/hd]
I have a recurring issue with shields floating off to Aetherius, it seems to happen when someone dies very far from me. I don't even react anymore.

You can get TESO for 20% off at GMG with this promo code: JBTBG5-7GVTE8-W2YXRV edit: also, you can do any faction's storyline, right?
Talking about these Skyrim physics issues where you get things stuck in the sky or going to shit, it's usually because you have too much FPS. Everything above 60-80 makes the game going crazy. For informative purposes. Also i did a thing. Applying a "decapitation" effect on a NPC without making his head flying away gives the impression of a wound to the neck. Therefore : [VID]http://a.pomf.se/mjvbaa.webm[/VID]
edit: also, you can do any faction's storyline, right?
Eventually I believe.

You get 8 slots. And bear in mind unless you get the explorer pack race is tied to faction.
In Skyrim. The tufts of fur on male khajiits cheeks disconcerts me slightly, it just looks weird.
