I'm trying to make a mod that reintroduces leveled lockpicks so that lockpicking isn't only perk/skill based but also equipment based. The way I want to do this is create a toolkit that the player equips (either as armor or as a weapon, not sure yet) and that alters the difficulty of lockpicking with a re-balanced XP reward. The easier the difficulty, the less rewarding and vice versa, meaning you can buy either training gear and farm locks for a lot of xp, or buy expert gear and unlock everything easily at the cost of barely any xp for each lock. Of course I'm a fucking scrub at CK so it's taking me forever.

Anyone here playing ESO? How is it?

Was a version of the game with extra stuff (and a preorder bonus too, I think?), adding a horse (you can get horses normally but it's a fair amount of gold when you're new), a mudcrab pet, the Imperial race, and the ability to select any race for any faction. You can get it from the crown store now for 2000 crowns, and you get 100 crowns a month, so you can technically get it for free if you're willing to wait. They gave everyone who already owned the game a bunch of crowns, so I bought the normal game then got it later without paying an extra $20. Definitely wouldn't say there's a reliance on DLCs here. Pretty happy that being able to be any race in any faction is an extra thing, it would be weird to have Ebonheart Pact be full of high elves. edit: oh yeah you're right, any race in any faction is the Adventurer's Pack preorder bonus or whatever Same things apply, comes with a pet I think and can now be bought off the crown store

I played ESO during the beta and wasn't too thrilled about it. Imperial edition is cool though. Bought it off GMG at -22% (so 42 euros in total) and I feel that's a p good price for it as it stands, especially without monthly sub. Haven't done much except the starting location on that khajit island again, and some quests in Auridon, but it just feels... Good. Usually I'm not into MMO's but this one keeps my attention. I also liked the token effort of reconciling the lore again. There's a book I found that basically makes fun of the retcons that were introduced in early TESO.

Getting back into Skyrim as I've got nothing better to do, I wanted to wait until I got the pc version but that's a long way off.

No one really knew what their stuff would like like before ESO, and I think they did a good job.
