Also I found this while looking for examples and I don't know what's happening anymore

HES READY TO FIGHT THATS WHATS HAPPENING.
[QUOTE=Masamune;47367925]You can get TESO for 20% off at [URL="http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/mmos/elder-scrolls-online-tamriel-unlimited/"]GMG[/URL] with this promo code:
JBTBG5-7GVTE8-W2YXRV
edit: also, you can do any faction's storyline, right?[/QUOTE]
Can you then somehow get the game tied to your Steam account or will GMG keep it separate?
[editline]21st March 2015[/editline]
Like with a CD key or something?

It's not a Steam key so it'd be separate.
Balls. Guess I'll have to wait.

Holy shit its Radical Larry!
I'm surprised there are no mods for a khajiit battlecat follower. A sentient mount that follows you and mauls the fuck out of everything.
[QUOTE=Drk;47368089]
Also i did a thing. Applying a "decapitation" effect on a NPC without making his head flying away gives the impression of a wound to the neck. Therefore : [/QUOTE]
That's sick. Really sucks that there aren't 3d wounds. I despise those boring blood spatters pasted on bodies.

Never actually used it, but there's a Pahmar lich follower on the Nexus who is that but you can't ride him and he's magic. I think there's a couple of tiger mount mods though.

There are several.
[QUOTE=usaokay;47372544]How is ESO nowadays? Is it worth the $60? Is the collector's edition worth it?[/QUOTE]
And do you still have to buy a chuffing Collector's Edition to play as all the races?
[QUOTE=Linkuya;47372798]And do you still have to buy a chuffing Collector's Edition to play as all the races?[/QUOTE]
No. You can buy Imperial Access from the crown store ingame.
[QUOTE=Xubs;47372845]is it permanent? No stipulations or anything, I can use imperials forever when I get imperial access?
'access' always implies to me 'limited' in some fashion when it's used in video game marketplaces[/QUOTE]
Yeah it's permanent. It's not cheap and comes in a crappy pack with a horse and mudcrab but it's permanent.

Is Morrowind overhaul still recommended?
[QUOTE=Lexinator;47372917]Is Morrowind overhaul still recommended?[/QUOTE]
IMO I'd just use MGE XE with Better Bodies/Faces/Hair
[QUOTE=coyote93;47373047]But then again you don't have to set anything up yourself. When i tried to set up MGE some years ago it was a pain in the ass for me. (prob only me being a noob) But the overhaul is really nice for people that just want to play Morrowind fast with little to no tweaking.[/QUOTE]
You just put in your Morrowind folder and adjust some settings.
MGE XE is even included in Morrowind Overhaul.

i can just imagine this will bloat saves to insane levels

Remember how valve figured out how to make gory as fuck cool looking wounds in Left 4 Dead 2 with minimal budget, minimal resources and on an engine that was six years old at the time.
Remember how Skyrim came out two years after that and they couldn't even figure out a way to make people climb up a fucking ladder.
Bethesda is such a fucking terrible developer, this is one of the few cases where outsourcing the development part to another team would outright be beneficial to the game, because then they would have decent developers.

If Skyrim had ladders they probably would cause a lot of physics related deaths.
[QUOTE=Durrsly;47373134]If Skyrim had ladders they probably would cause a lot of physics related deaths.[/QUOTE]
That's probably the reason why they were repurposed into loading screen triggers.

It's honestly sad how much Bethesda is allowed to get away with this shit because they completely dominate the market that their games are made for. Nobody wants to rise up and challenge them, force them to change their ways (hopefully for the better).
Nobody's willing to rise up and challenge them because pretty much nobody has the same funds and the same time to make a similar game as Bethesda.
The closest we have to this is CD Projekt who are already busy making better games anyway.
Wizardry could of taken on Elder Scrolls, but Sir-Tech died in 2003.
[QUOTE=Durrsly;47373134]If Skyrim had ladders they probably would cause a lot of physics related deaths.[/QUOTE]
Imagine shoving down your sword into enemies that are climbing up a ladder.
I think the only reason Bethesda haven't released tools to edit their behavior system has to be because not even they know how the behavior system is supposed to works. At least that would explain some of the bad animations and lack of stuff like underwater combat and jumping while sprinting.

and now i can't help picture that their engine was made purely by a pact with a demon and is cursed to give them great success at the cost of never terrible voice acting and audio. :v:
I just hate that not only is the behavior system practically useless, but its one of the biggest bottlenecks of the game and limits how many npcs you can have on screen.

Imagine TES VI made by Obsidian

part of the charm of bethesda games is that they feel so broken, really. A lot of other open world games end up feeling way too... polished?
It's kinda like the difference between a homemade meal (bethesda open world rpg) and one you'd be served at a high end restaurant (other dev open world rpg). Objectively, the restaurant dish should be better, but the small imperfections in the homemade one (that you can forgive because you're so used to it) make it that much better.

Also the detail and love put into that homemade meal makes it stand out in comparison to the typical by-the-books meals you get at a restaurant.
I mean, what other games allow you to take every item in a home that someone has? All their bowls, and silverware? Not Dragon Age, not Witcher, totally a BGS game though.
Why does ESO have that silly hand wave animation when opening doors. I mean Skyrim didn't have any animations and looked fine.
I keep imagining I'm using the force to mind trick the doors.
