Does half of ESO's animations force the player to go into third person like Skyrim?

All animations work in first person, though non-combat ones can be a bit awkward, especially since your body doesn't follow your view in first person.

no matter the talent, if it's based on Gamebryo it will automatically end up being disappointing one way or another
that engine should be trashed for fucking good
I don't think Gamebryo itself is shit. It's good for MMO's or other things like that but it does have its flaws, and those flaws (floaty movement, mountain climbing and other stupid stuff) are completely inexcusable when they're part of a singleplayer game where immersion is literally the only thing that matters. Bethesda didn't only make a bad engine choice but their half-assed practices also crippled the experience of their games.
That's just my opinion though.
TBH I think a lot of Gamebryo's reputation comes from how poorly Bethesda uses.

The game would be released a year too early and even if it sold fifteen million units the first day they'd somehow still get fucked over when getting their paycheck :v:

Does anyone know a good monster hunting mod btw ? Something that gives you radiant quests to hunt werewolves, vampires and such ? I really want to do a character who basically does nothing but that.
So I was gonna try ESO again since it does not require a subscription and I do not have to worry about trying to play enough to warrant the subscription. Have to have an access code that they email you. Its been hours and I have yet to get it. My account email is still the same.

There's a reason I call Bethesda's version "Bethbryo".
Gamebryo itself is fine (see: Civ IV)

Yes, no subscription. Changed my post.

Tell it to send again.
i can just imagine this will bloat saves to insane levels
IIRC back when Skywind had a working alpha it gave you the option of starting a new game in skyrim or morrowind, entirely different savestates unless you console yourself into morrowind.
Tell it to send again.
I did.

If people are actually this stupid then the next TES game won't even have puzzles.

The problem isn't stupidity.
It's Laziness.

Looking it up actually takes a little bit more effort than just looking at a wall 2 feet away from the actual puzzle.
Here's some screencaps of my main run with a bunch of fog/rain mods, imaginator set to very desaturated and another mod that makes it always gloomy/overcast/rainy/whatever.

And as a bonus have my second run as Ser Tibias Lodge, Noble Skeleton Knight of Skyrim.

Maybe. I think the artist's intent was that he was bad at puzzles in general though. I have to admit that the game conditions you to act like an idiot when it comes to puzzles so the slightly less obvious ones seem harder.

I'm wondering how many Skyrim and Oblivion players would react to playing Morrowind and trying to find the valley of the wind or other hard to find items/places/ or people in it. They sure as hell don't have map markers, fast travel, and etc.
Every time I install new mods it seems like a lottery as to whether or not its going to destroy my ability to launch the game without an instant CTD
I honestly don't know why I even bothered this time

ESO IMO is pretty good, solid combat, world, etc. Cyrodil PVP gets fucking intense when you try to defend against 40+ players rushing at you. Only to win because you have better siege and players than they do.

This really does imply you've used the wrong email.
part of the charm of bethesda games is that they feel so broken, really. A lot of other open world games end up feeling way too... polished?
It's kinda like the difference between a homemade meal (bethesda open world rpg) and one you'd be served at a high end restaurant (other dev open world rpg). Objectively, the restaurant dish should be better, but the small imperfections in the homemade one (that you can forgive because you're so used to it) make it that much better.
nah I'd rather have a game that actually works and isn't running on an engine held together by duct tape and satanic rituals
thanks

If you're crashing before reaching the main menu, you've got a master dependency problem. Make sure the mods you are installing don't require any DLCs or mods you don't have.

I only ever found one that stumped me. But that was because I couldn't find the clues as they were hidden out of plain sight. I had to back track quite a bit to find it.

This is really embarrassing but I legitimately couldn't figure out the Golden Claw puzzle
In my defense, I didn't know you could rotate items in the menu

Yea, I didnt either, I thought mine glitched or some shit, so I restarted my entire game (yea, didnt reload a previous save, just restarted) and figured it out when I got back there, realized how retarded I was

I certainly wasn't a fan of all the walking and getting lost.
I thought the clues to the golden claw puzzle were on the wall carvings in the hallway in front of the door so I spent like fifteen minutes scrutinizing the pixelated textures trying to discern the answer of the puzzle.
Having the answer of the puzzle be on the key itself was such a silly idea I never even considered it. I guess when you think about it that way it was a pretty... good idea of the ancient nords, then?
