The Elder Scrolls Megathread XVI: Loremaster Extraordinaire - Games

I've not done a piece of writing in a while, and I've never done it for one of my Skyrim characters, so this was fun and a little bit different for me. This is inspired by my current Redguard female dual blade/smithing/heavy armour playthrough. I initially took her to Solstheim so I could get the achievement for crafting Stahlrim, having never got round to it until now but encountering the Thirsk Mead Hall quest prompted using one of the Rieklings as a companion. If folks are interested in this I'll write more and base it on objectives I do in my playthrough. I tried to write/present it in the style of one of many books you find in the game. I see the sharpness in his eyes and the precise caution in his step, and I see we are not so different to one another. We are both warriors him and I. When we are done we clean our blades, check our armour. We take what we can from the bodies and their camp, they will not miss them where they are going, they are not the honoured dead. I take the gold from the men's pockets, Gorbal instead content to claim the vessels they were using to drink their mead. He explains to me he is 'collecting' them, and indeed he is, his pack is full of them. He shows me goat horns, household cups of varied shapes and sizes and one item he is particularly proud of, a Dwemer goblet he strictly will not allow me to touch. On morning he jabs me awake with his spear, furiously pointing to his throat with a growl. Apparently my snoring is too much for him to bare. I tell him we must travel to the mainland. This concept is unknown to him, Solstheim is and has been his entire world. I wonder how the world feels to a creature his size. His presence does not make the crew happy, and they refuse to let him board. A Nord's stubbornness is always softened by coin. Gorbal spends the entire trip in the belly of boat, clutching his bag of cups and muttering in his curious tongue. We will arrive in Windhelm in a few hours. I also set it to legendary because while I want to be able to one-hit low-level targets, I don't want to also never be able to die. If there's any magic anywhere I'm fucking dead within two seconds :v:

I usually use Skyrim HD 2K mixed with Book of Silence and Vert's Skyrim Floral Overhaul. I'd have to go through and see what new things popped up. I miss Skyrim Realistic Overhaul textures, it had amazing potential.

Trying to find a good in-character reason to join the Thieve's Guild, but honest jobs to get food and lodging are too plentiful to justify the most obvious reason to turn to crime. Also wish there was a harem-girl looking outfit in vanilla Skyrim so I could have a dual scimitar wielding Gerudo-looking character.

My damn Skyrim keeps crashing on EVERY Exterior-cell. I have no idea what it could be, Vram? I have NO idea! It didn't do it before. Can anyone help?
