I too have seen this sort of thing.

Ugh!
This is what I'm currently getting with the "Seasons of Skyrim" ENB. I picked it for the screenshots, which gave it just the perfect mix of vibrance and very slight desaturation.
Damn sure I've done everything right, and it clearly WORKS... it just looks like SHIT.
Something has taken the entire image and just blown it out. I get the feeling it would look great, but some odd gamma setting or something has just DESTROYED it. And I have brightness scaled into the floor.
I disabled every other mod that might interfere too, just to see if things improved. I've got nothing. What the hell.

It looks like you might actually be getting negative values in your colors (the darks are so dark they're negative dark), which means something's gone wrong in your ENB's math.

That seems to happen whenever I used an enb over v1.08.
That seems to happen whenever I used an enb over v1.08.
Mine is v0.262, like the mod specifies. It doesn't recommend anything higher either, so I dunno.
Disabling bloom fixes a bit of it, but that hysterically bloated lensflare effect persists regardless...

seems like fixincorrectmath has been toggled off in the ini for some reason
also, don't be afraid to use 266, anything above v2 works retroactively
[editline]1st April 2015[/editline]
if you use mod organizer make sure you edited the ini in your mod organizer folder, not in skyrim's folder, it doesn't get used

Figured it out! I was a dumbass about the preset installation, and added in the correct base enb settings without the meat of the mod's additions in it.
Damn, never thought THIS would be what finally brought my pc to its knees. Had to tone it down to the non-dof version. I may have been adding high res mods and such, but NOW my gtx 980 is getting ganged up on?

This mod added a devil child. Some mudcrabs attacked me and she called down a meteor shower to destroy them all.

Off topic question: how does everyone on the internet make these animated gifs from in-game videos? Do you have to go through a tool that records game videos and then another tool that turns it into an animated gif?

It's not that hard. Some video editing software like VirtualDub can export animated .gifs. Only problem is that you don't get as much control over the compression, which is why it might be better to export it as an image sequence and make the .gif in an image editing program.

I use virtualdub, adjust to 24 fps, scale to 25% of the resolution, and then open it up in gimp and index the colors to reduce the filesize to a level that would be acceptable for a .png or high quality .jpg (2-4 mb) sounds like a lot of work but it only takes about 30 seconds once you get the hang of it.
Speaking of which, now the stealth kills are even more awesome :v:

Pretty much.
What I used to do is record the video then import it into Photoshop, then delete every other frame for filesize reasons (that part's up to you though), rescale if necessary and export.

OH MY GOD, I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO SAW IT.
Jesus we've been in LMAOpics way too much.
I promised myself that I wasn't going to install a fuckton of mods when I reinstalled windows.
Then I had 250 tabs of the nexus opened.
Fuck.

Downloaded a mod to disable the magic/bow killcams. Mother of the fuck, those things trigger way too much.
