enhanced
Aplestormy's are cluttered on purpose; they quite literally occlude the draw distance so the creaky ass engine doesn't chug when you do shit like jump off the top of the jarl's approach in whiterun. Also say what you will, but the only other town mod that doesn't break every other mod it comes into contact with is JK's, and that in and of itself is impressive.
What do you peeps think of these mods? http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=79384336 People seem to like them but I dunno, they seem unfitting and too cluttered with stuff.
I would enjoy town/city enhancing mods more if they weren't so performance-intensive. My little toaster can't deal.
haha check this shit 80gb my ass, it's enough of a nuisance that gta v is 60gb

I stole Mercer Frey's sweetroll.
haha check this shit 80gb my ass, it's enough of a nuisance that gta v is 60gb
About half of that 80gb is just the installer. From disc it comes to about 41gb.
I'm teaching myself how to make mods and shit. I know it isn't much but I made a little player home to learn the basics. I'm sorta proud of it. I just need to learn how to make a fireplace with an actual fire, then I'll put in some more clutter. [t]http://i.imgur.com/6MgnIYY.png[/t]

I suggest whenever making player homes to use as many shadow lights as possible (3 is the max rendered per scene that the computer renders). It give the house you have a sense of depth. I'd also recommend learning how to occlude in the CK, to save performance in interiors, if you are making multi-room houses. Here's a handy video that teaches you how to do that:
So I installed all of the graphic mods from a pages back and came up with this: [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/37493678754445377/9FD71C79B1B62949D57FC5A56A253E1BB13B80B0/[/t] Anyone know what is happening? I have no idea what I'm doing :suicide: Edit:It seems to only happen when the enb is active
If it was my Mod List: Do you have any weather mods (COT and other likes similar to that) enabled along-side TAZ? TAZ uses its own weather mod in its .esps, making it incompatible. Though Supreme Storms / True Storms and other things are compatible.
why the fuck would there be trees growing wild in the middle of a city
A better question is why are there so many trees in a tundra, an environment whose main defining feature is near zero trees?
in a city made of lumber [editline]8th April 2015[/editline] "i'm going to make skyrim look like a place my mom would imagine"
Just found out you can sit in the back of a carriage first and then tell yer man where you want to go.
that was a jaw harp though, also known as a Jew's harp or a mouth harp.
when it sounds identical to the noise a doorstop makes when you bend it you probably shouldn't be using it for any serious soundtrack work, and probably not for not-so-serious work either.

Here is my plugin load order if it helps:
Good news, ESO is doing a free weekend! Bad news, it's only for those that beta tested.
I know it says Thursday but is there any way to start downloading now so I can at least get some of it done before tomorrow?
hell if i know, this isn't even until next week. what i do know is that they sent me a new confirmation email verifying that my account was given the free weekend pass so all i have to do now is install the game.
Good news, ESO is doing a free weekend! Bad news, it's only for those that beta tested.
How the hell is this supposed to get more people to play? Presumably the majority of people who beta tested it will at the very least have had some idea of how the game plays, if not have already bought the thing in the first place.
I found an interesting mod on the front page. Real Bows.

So, er, how did Auri-El go from elf guy to Akatosh the dragon god of time? That's one really bad game of Akaviri Whispers.
So, er, how did Auri-El go from elf guy to Akatosh the dragon god of time? That's one really bad game of Akaviri Whispers.
An Imperial cult known as the Marukhati Selectives (lead by an imga named Marukh, interestingly enough) did some dance on a tower (not sure if literal or metaphorical) to try and draw the elven influence out of Aka, and Akatosh was the result. It's pretty damned clever symbolism. Lorkhan is represented as a snake, and is associated with space as well as mankind. Space and time are inseperable, two halves of the same coin, and the same applies to Lorkhan and all the aspects of the Time Dragon. Auri-El, the purely elven interpretation of the Time Dragon, with no Lorkhanic influence, is an eagle. What's an eagle plus a snake?

Stendar is Shor to the Nords. Auri-El is Akatosh to Elves. Some even worship the Daedra, like the Dark Elves, and even the Khajiit revere Sheogorath as "Sheggorath", The Skooma Cat. Also, M'Aiq the Liar is Sheogorath in Skooma Cat form.

Also you'd be surprised on the "All Christians think Jesus was a man" thing. Jesus stories range from him sometimes appearing as a unicorn [sp]ok i THINK that's what it was, i can only half-remember that one[/sp] to that time he tamed a dragon in a cave when he was a baby. And M'aiq is just an easter egg whose name may or may not come from Michael Kirkbride.

I think I need to readminister my "I'm done" policy with these shenanigans.
