Okay.
Can't think of anything better, eh?
Then that's LL's fault and they deserve to have shit stolen for that reason.
BREACH doesn't belong to LL, in case you didn't know.
No I don't, and even if I was that's not a valid reason to flag someone as a thief. It doesn't make sense in the slightest.
I suspect. I said it makes you sound like one, not that you are one. Again, you misread me.
Ya rly It rips what's being displayed on screen and saves it to a file. It does so with directx applications (the opengl one is installed on another computer that currently has a virus). I only use if for getting models off roms (which I use for personal fun and only using roms that I can legally have.) I've never tested it with SL, and I don't even know if it's compatible. Just becuase I use something as an example doesn't mean I do it. And that post doesn't incriminate me in any way, shape, or form. I knew I posted that going into my previous post.
Then don't say first that you don't know how to use or get one of those tools. Probably that one you talk about works with Second Life, like any other interceptor. It's a 3D application after all.
I'm saying here that I don't see a reason in theft PERSONALLY. You misunderstood
Maybe you're not explaining properly then. Finish your sentences first, please.
I'm a newcomer (PLUS) I've only heard of copybot. I don't know what it is, or where to get it. Quit saying that I'm trying to drive shit off topic. I've been saying from the beginning that people won't want to bother stealing meshes, and you ignore my reasoning for that.
Do you just realize that this paragraph made you just appear to be a person who talks about stuff that doesn't know about like they did?
k
Thx.
Answering that seems to be an attempt at incriminating, making a fool of, or bash me. You ignore the technical aspects for reasons why people wouldn't want to bother ripping that I've been posting and have proceeded to say that I'm a content theft when, like I said, wouldn't know how. My boss has been using SL for much longer than I, so I'm fairly sure that if I stole anything using HER OWN MONEY, I would be caught. I wouldn't risk my position for something so stupid as stealing content in SL.
First, that answer wasn't an answer. It was just a comment about my posts getting really long, but seem like you took it really seriously. Maybe there's a reason about that? :v: And second, I am not incriminating with that sentence, nor bash you. And third, I don't know what that has to do about the "technical aspects for reasons why people wouldn't want to bother ripping", and since you're a newcomer (unless you lied), I'll explain to you that in SL content theft is something that has been around there for very long. People start worrying about it if they create content for at least a year after registering, and with a very little knowledge you can already rip that stuff, because software makes it REALLY easy. Unless you say something that isn't random ranting and not useful in anyway in a reply to this, I will consider the subject as dropped off, because it is going to be classified as spam, something which isn't useful in the only thread we have about Second Life.
Can't think of anything better, eh? There wasn't anything to say. I misunderstood, I guess BREACH doesn't belong to LL, in case you didn't know. I realized that. I'm talking about content in general I suspect. I said it makes you sound like one, not that you are one. Again, you misread me. Not really, you were pegging me as such. Then don't say first that you don't know how to use or get one of those tools. Probably that one you talk about works with Second Life, like any other interceptor. It's a 3D application after all. Probably does, if so, I still wouldn't bother Maybe you're not explaining properly then. Finish your sentences first, please. Wat Do you just realize that this paragraph made you just appear to be a person who talks about stuff that doesn't know about like they did? I think I know what you just said, but still. I know what I'm talking about and you're ignoring my reasons Thx. No problem, bro First, that answer wasn't an answer. It was just a comment about my posts getting really long, but seem like you took it really seriously. Maybe there's a reason about that? :v: And second, I am not incriminating with that sentence, nor bash you. People start worrying about it if they create content for at least a year after registering, and with a very little knowledge you can already rip that stuff, because software makes it REALLY easy. I was talking about your post in general, not that specific part. I didn't take anything too seriously. I was explaining more why I personally wouldn't steal content. Yes I'm a newcomer. Okay, I guess there is a reason to worry about theft. But mesh importing doesn't really have as much of a risk at theft as you make it out to be. Plus everyone that posts in the JIRA that are against it say nothing of the risks of stealing, they just give shit reasons that don't make any sense because they don't know what they're talking about. Unless you say something that isn't random ranting and not useful in anyway in a reply to this, I will consider the subject as dropped off, because it is going to be classified as spam, something which isn't useful in the only thread we have about Second Life. I have a point: Support mesh importing. I'm not spamming at all.

Because I'm subscribed to that JIRA and I've been reading the comments, yet I barely see a single comment against them, except talking about the horrible building system that actually needs some improvement b) I support mesh importing too, and I want it more than anything else, but hey, first work on a way to prevent piracy and the violation of Intellectual Property, because Linden Labs always rush on stuff...
Proof of concept: *picture*
Interesting... I still wonder how that's done, because I'd like to create my custom Linden Trees. I couldn't find anything but random stuff when looking around, lol.
I was still referencing the wasteland sim, I have a parcel there but I never use it, few of them around me are full of prefab, and not the good prefab, just some basic very scary box-like houses and freebies with misplaced ugly library alpha grid textures
Yes I know you meant a wasteland sim, I didn't know if you meant The wastelands, or like, one of the other sims connected that are called The wastelands as a whole :v:
The jira that Qarl made that is "work on improving existing tools" Which yes, it does need a LOT of improvement, but it needs mesh importing more.
Not really, need more brainstorming first. It's like the bulk permission upload. It was put in the 1.23 viewers randomly and now there's a potential risk of content theft due to it. Same will happen with meshes.
Yes I know you meant a wasteland sim, I didn't know if you meant The wastelands, or like, one of the other sims connected that are called The wastelands as a whole :v:
I am referencing THE wastland sim on sl, that was based at first on fallout 2, why an obvious ridiculous boxed "vault" as Telehub lol what is your sl name anyway ?
I just got this and could use help with pretty much everything. SL names anyone?
If anyone wants to donate some dollars or something, PM me. :buddy:
I am referencing THE wastland sim on sl, that was based at first on fallout 2, why an obvious ridiculous boxed "vault" as Telehub lol what is your sl name anyway ?
I know, I've been going to the wastelands since 07, I've done sim work there too :v:
My first day on SL has proved fun. :P :buddy:
All these paws make me vomit.
All these paws make me vomit.
That is quite pretty. Snapshot it like everybody is doing now. Now on topic, I'm starting to insanely lose items randomly due to SL inventory issues, like, I rezz copies of them in world but they disappear on the next day. Anybody getting this as well? Fff- damnit.
All these paws make me vomit.
I agree with this man. There's too many furries on secondlife. Actually, you can organize basically everyone into an avatar archetype: Furries Goths "Heroes" - Paste every weapon they can onto themselves Stock tools - Buy muscular body type, too much jewlery and/or tight clothes When I used to play (My name was Yuki Cyr) I had so much going on. My avatar was 90% created by me, save the hair and eyes. Wish I still had the account. They deleted it a while ago.
Well it's fun. [editline]05:28PM[/editline] :monar:
Furries Goths "Heroes" - Paste every weapon they can onto themselves Stock tools - Buy muscular body type, too much jewlery and/or tight clothes
Which one am I then? Are zombies goth? I don't think they're goth :C
Add me HL2. Add Fennec Kozlov :pervert:
Which one am I then? Are zombies goth? I don't think they're goth :C
A furry, you are.
Add Fennec Kozlov, everyone. :jihad: HL2, get on steam bllrbrrbbgfhfg
A furry, you are.
Am not
HL2, get on steam bllrbrrbbgfhfg
No.
All these paws make me vomit.
Get used to it. It's second life. Stop complaining, or stop playing, because it's something to expect.
Wait, so you have to buy land before you can build?
No.
Does anyone have an avatar like this, they could give away? I mean the lighty-up shoes, ect, and the guitar?
