• Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

I know, shotguns were retardedly powerful for Infils. SMGs are nowhere near as bad.
The LC2 Lynx is kinda the best thing ever.
SMG's can easely be outgunned by LMG's at short range. I've had numeral times that I went face to face with a TR heavy (while I was NC infil with blitz SMG) and he killed me with ease. [editline]22nd September 2013[/editline] the fact that you (in most cases) can sneak behind enemies makes it so powerfull, as they don't have a chance to figure out where they are getting shot from.

Why doesn't Amerish have a fucking Lattice?
Why doesn't Amerish have a fucking Lattice?
They have not gotten around to it yet and don't expect it any time soon.
Holy tits! A dual Comets MAX can oneshot infantry! Why the hell aren't more people doing this? [editline]22nd September 2013[/editline] And then why don't more VS use the Lancer. A small group of those can shut down an entire area from vehicle use.
They have not gotten around to it yet and don't expect it any time soon.
It's already in, actually. They just leave it off most of the time. I think the situation was getting ready to be resolved before they started the Performanceside campaign. I played on Latterish a couple days ago during a alert.
Holy tits! For small squads where getting caught with your pants down is bad, Cosmos fare better, for midrange, Blueshift. Lancer: Because it's expensive and when they buy it, they pull it out by themselves and can't kill anything by themselves. Same for the Lasher.

That's not what the Amerish lattice will be, it's simply the old Hex system being displayed with lattice links.

That, or it looked right, responded to captured hexes right, the hexes were magically only captured in a matching way, and it was a bug. Either one.

If the lattice was actually built that way it would function almost identically to the hex system. [t]http://i.imgur.com/beovYcu.jpg[/t] I'm going to assume that this is what you saw. You'll see that the "lattice" links are linking every hex to every adjacent hex and not a few select bases as it is on the Indar and Esamir lattices.

It seemed less cluttered to me, but that makes more sense.
You guys don't seem very thrilled about OMFG
Call me when they achieve their objectives.
Aw, there was a warpgate rotation :c
You guys don't seem very thrilled about OMFG
For the most part we are, there's just not much to talk about it.
For the most part we are, there's just not much to talk about it.
After all, what is there to say? Until we see results, there really isn't much to say on the matter. What SOE says and does are two separate entities, and not really correlated.

In other news, BCP seems to have turned over a new leaf, and is making an effort to change his image to win back the hearts and minds of the PS2 community. [thumb]http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h15/jbaccasd/25f97876-4d77-4d3d-8262-da28fca7ee4a_zps0222ae8e.jpg[/thumb]
So I went to Media Markt and I bought a Planetside 2 with Code (golden guns , cash and boosters). I tried to run it on my pc but for some strange reason it restarts my computer. I'm tired of fixing stuff and reinstaling games so I decided to make a raffle. We will go Facepunch style. Rate me [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img] to enter the raffle. I need only 20 participants.

Has that fabled optimisation patch been released yet? Or has its date been announced? I really wanna get back into the game but I could only play competently in low-population battles due to frame issues. [editline]28th September 2013[/editline] I googled it, Oct 23 :D
I'll expect it next February then
The optimization patch doesn't interest me because I already ran the game great at mostly max settings because I happened to have the exact kind of hardware the engine looks for even if isn't particuarly high end But that's okay I'm treating this as kind of like a break period. I'll be back in a few months when the optimization patch is done at the end of october and the major content/metagame updates arrive. It'll feel like a fresh new game then!
I forgot about all of this optimization stuff and was exited for some new content as my pc runs this game on the second highest setting no problem and was disappointed when I found out there probably is not going to be any content for months now. So considering this optimization stuff is not really going to benefit me all that much they better make this game run great on all the machines having problems or I am not going to be very happy.
Well, if it runs a whole lot better for lots more people it might be more fun/become a shit fest because there's so many more people.
Well, if it runs a whole lot better for lots more people it might be more fun/become a shit fest because there's so many more people.
Basically this, I've got a few friends who don't play because even potato mode is slow for them. Heck, i wouldn't mind some extra FPS in fights, lately I've started getting hiccups as I enter combat range.
At this stage I'd consider more players just as good as new content.

Hopefully they optimize things enough for a large influx of people. Like massive crown battles on every continent. That would be a sight to behold.
