I don't think the health buff will be near enough. 2 C4 will still probably annihilate a tank. Additionally, C4 is useful against every single land target. I'm tired of all of these "you can kill anything" weapons that are instant death. If you get an instakill weapon, you should be able to kill one set of things, not all of them.

Unless you live in the bigger cities they're pretty rare. California might be just be the odd one out though, it could be totally different in the rest of the states. Getting back on topic. I gotta say the racer chassis is far better than the rival combat chassis for the sunderer. It basically becomes a muscle car, the max speed is increased to 80kph up from the 70kph so you'll overtake and pass everything but the flash on the battlefield and it accelerates like someone flipped the nitro on. Even the extra horsepower from the racer is better than the slight boost of traction the rival combat gives you for hillclimbing, even more so after the devs fixed the sliding issue. The racers huge boost in forward acceleration also outweighs the rival combats reverse speed bonus. Not to mention the steering radius boost is a joke. The racer chassis feels like it has a much bigger impact on the overall performance and control of the vehicle than the combat chassis. Try 'em both out in the VR simulator and put 'em to the test for yourselves.

While fighting them and occasionally playing as NC, I find their weapons to be deadly accurate while dealing a large amount of damage at the same time. You can fire at them in full auto, landing most of the hits and they'll still be able to drop you in the blink of an eye. I think the removal of flinch may have something to do with this. I often see NC using their LMG's as sniper rifles. and of course... FUCKIN' HACKSAW MAXES (TR MAX deploy should balance this) TR have got it pretty hard on Connery at the moment. The NC population is still as big as ever, along with a whole bunch of 4th factioners that want to get their hands on the best weapons of the moment. While VS has risen from being the minority to sometimes having a higher pop than even NC. Which I think is related to getting the North gate on Indar. It's probably going to get worse when we merge with Helios, because apparently TR are the minority on there. What does everybody think of TR in terms of balance? I often see people calling us OP or saying we're not allowed to complain about balance because we have no disadvantage, but I really don't see it that way. Some examples would be nice. /rant.

[/QUOTE] I think the TR are balanced, but that might be just me being biased because LOYALTY UNTIL DEATH their fire rate is balanced by their relatively low damage but honestly they seem a bit underpowered compared to the NC now.
The high RoF/low damage kinda bites you in the ass if you want to shoot someone far away because your RoF means jack shit when you're in semi auto
TR are balanced against other TR, but don't compare to NC currently.
TR get no love from the devs. I would like to see a NC nerf, or a TR buff. Vanu seem pretty balanced to me atm. I know the factions are meant to have different styles but making one good at everything is a little bogus.

The gun is a bullet hose fire from the hip with all the correct attachments and you will find it out does the other SMGs. ---------------- I often get into a fight with this gun as inf against other infs using their SMG variant. I normally win. Only down side to this gun is that killing heavy assaults is hard. They will sponge nearly all of your 60 round mag and that is if you are hitting every shot.

They just whip round, dakka dakka, I''m dead. A freind of mine noticed this and had this little outburst as a result. But you're right about the TR being the minority. Helios is like 40% NC, 40% VS, and 20% TR. For every TR I've killed there are probably twenty more dead Vanu behind him.
I only manage to get like 30fps on low, does anyone know how to optimise this game at all? My rig isn't even particularly bad.
I find there is a big performance difference between running the game on my SSD, and the test client on my HDD.
