Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think - Games

I bounce between NC and TR. i can't stand any of the VS guns (though i like the snipers thematically, they remind me of Eldar snipers).

The first OMFG update is now live on the PTS server! Seen alot of people reporting decent boosts in performance and all round more stable fps in fights.

Dear god, I already had half decent performance before so I didn't expect much, but so far I'm blown away by the performance. Although there's not a massive amount of people on right now I still drop podded into TI Alloys with a medium sized fight going on with a few tanks and I instantly had about 115 fps, running around with about 80+ fps in the fight. Before I'd be jumping between 40-55ish. I think they've actually got it this time. [editline]24th October 2013[/editline] Getting about 55-70 fps in a decent sized battle, this patch has definitely exceeded my expectations.

Right now I'm just hoping it will increase my performance marginally if at all. Fps has been shit for me lately

I got at least 60% boost in frames, if you run AMD you should too because AMD users are majority of their playerbase and ironically have the most issues.

When will this update be live on the regular servers?

Aren't Infils also supposed to get some medium-armor too? I think i saw some pics of it a few months back. It'd be great, personally i always think my infiltrators look so skinny and the composite armor doesn't help since it's basically just knee- and shoulderpads.

Hopefully the VS infils don't get like a thong or something, though that's more than what our current composite armour gives us.

Hopefully TR will get some armor that doesn't look like it was made from a Fallout 3 outfit or goofy as fuck. I'd like to see some more Roman Legion inspired pieces like the helmets from Aliens.

I had no idea the grenade belt thing was removed, logged into my NC character and 400 certs! was thinking about trying to find a Outfit for my Miller NC toon, but not sure if i prefer them over TR, but my character there is on US-East so timezone issues. :c

Yep. Changes are on the Test Server, going live soon. It's looking promising so far.

so with all the news of the optimization i am kind of looking into playing ps2 again. i havnt played for real since after GU3 game out and decimated my performance. has anything major changed aside from the lattice? i cant be assed to look through almost a years worth of patch notes...

Have there been any updates for anything related to melee for the infiltrator?

anybody know of a good NC outfit on connery? apparently my old outfit from helios turned into the elite cod cool kid club and kicked anyone who wasn't under the age of 12. i also see that the wraith cloak did exactly what i thought it would. get the flashes only gun worth using nerfed into oblivion.

But if you're just after a bunch of people to play with and don't care about consistent quality, Devil Dogs are fun.
