Takes ~3 near hits with mossie rockets to kill a HA.

Why are everyone so mad about the Vanu? I play as Vanu and on my server it's pretty much balanced, we're always 31/35/33% of population.
ZOE maxes. That's pretty much it.
I still don't get half the whine you hear in Planetside 2. The only thing I agree with about ZOE is that it's not really a tradeoff, you want to keep it up pretty much all the time whereas lockdown and shield are enormous tradeoffs for gaining something else(and they could buff the shield a bit). I definately don't think they should nerf the ZOE, but then again I've been against most nerfs they've been dealing out since day 0. I prefer giving players options to counter things instead of "waah we can't kill it pls nerf" [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] Have they removed the sound option to not play sound when the game is in the background? I swear it was there a few days ago but now I can't find it.
Most of it is inevitable babby whine. ZOE and AV turret are the only things I even slightly agree with though. EDIT: Actually no, I fully agree with the AV turret whine. ZOE just needs a slightly bigger disadvantage. If it had a set amount of fuel before having to recharge again that would be fine, and maybe add fatigue (just a slight movement speed debuff) while recharging or something so that it's an alternative to the charge module rather than an upgrade. Just nerfing the damage and speed like most people cry for would be stupid though.
My opinion would be that they should bring up the other two MAX skills to the same level of strength rather than nerfing the few things that I think they made fun in the game. Funny how much I defend ZOE even though I rarely play MAX at all.

At one point a group of prowlers set up on a mountain with their lockdown ability and just wrecked an entire zerg. It was brutal.

Good short busts of high mobility with recharge periods. Use it intelligently in a fight and you gain the advantage, use it whenever cos "Lol jetpack" and have fun being out of charge when you need it.

holy fuck, my friends and I pretty much single handedly capped half of indar for the TR from Vanu last night up to Mao -- we also led the initial push for the crown and capped it. when we started, we were within gravel pass to the north and regent rock to the west

Eventually they got tired of my shit and sent up MAXes, I even killed some of those with C4. Medic op Even killed a bunch of BR100's. Anyways what's up with people being unaware as shit? It's essentially the giraffe-camo situation all over again but whenever you come around from a path the enemy does not expect you to they don't register you as an enemy until you are firing at them. Like I dropped off of that cliff once and flipped out of fall damage and just ran around amongst the vanu scum and they didn't react until I had killed two of them.

Everything else is a brownish mush, our only hope is to spam Q and aim under the enemy marker hopoing for the best.

Anyways does the AP cannons on MBTs deal additional damage versus other tanks? I mean like the lancer and phoenix deals double damage versus armored targets. I'm thinking of making a tank-hunter spec for my prowler with AP rounds, high speed and maxxed-out lockdown. I'm planning on flanking enemy tanks on the field, locking down and wrecking them to hell.

Try hitting V then 8 for sorry, but doing it while crouched so you also hit the I button with your thumb as you're holding control, turning off all markers, and can't figure out how the fuck to turn them on for 20 minutes so you end up playing like that. Try telling people apart from one another then. It was not fun

Been TR'ing lately, and [I]wow[/I] is their MAX so many leagues better than the NC's. It's still essentially an instant kill on infantry within 10m, but it's actually deadly outside of that range, too. Plus, the killing potential per magazine is bonkers. I picked up the secondary minigun that has the 100 round magazine, and plan to replace my primary with it too. The only thing I don't particularly love about the TR so far is that their infantry weapons don't feel like they have much stopping power. I can bullet-hose pretty accurately, sure, but I'm always surprised by how many landed shots it takes to actually drop somebody. I prefer the NC's infantry weapons for their extra [I]Oomph[/I], but the TR's special equipment is no contest. Their MAX is actually something that I would pull for general combat purposes instead of a niche selection for indoor point camping.

It doesn't feel like we do jack shit per bullet. And the upside that's supposed to come with bullet-hoses is the terror, supressive fire, brutal sounds and such, but I don't think we have that. I hate how TR weapons look and sound.

Sure you get some stupidly huge mag but if you try to hose anyone with it you're not going to hit shit. I feel like you have to fire in shorter bursts than you do with the average NC weapon which is firing slow enough to not make recoil ridiculous instantly. But yeah the TR max is godly compared to NC which can only shoot up to a range slightly shorter than the knife effectively.

TR get some of the worst weapons and some of the best weapons. The entire CARV family is a joke, as is the TRAC-5S - lol good luck hitting [I]anything[/I] more than 5 meters away with this thing. It's a grenade launcher with a terrible gun attached to it. But the SABR-13, T5-AMC, TMG-50, TAR/TRV, and RAMS-50m are some of the best weapons in the game (though ironically all but the TAR/TRV are the slowest firing weapons in the TR arsenal).
