sure if you lend us your ZOE in return
Well you never use MAX abilites for TR anyway so it's a deal in my book.
Also whenever I use the ZOE I die in max vs max combat rather often... probably because I'm using the weapon with built in extra ammo.
Its usefulness against most targets is its compensation for having a terrible effective range.

Frankly, on my Prowler I would prefer to have an Enforcer most of the time, as I spend most of my anti-tank Prowler time sitting at long range where the Vulcan just turns into a shitty Basilisk.
Vulcan is great on the Harasser, though.
When I go Magriding A Vulcan prowler seems to be able to kill be with two rounds from the man cannon (as in fire twice and reload) and sustained vulcan fire.
Like the first round deals some damage, the vulcn whittles me down to very low and the second round finishes the job.
I hope they put out a quick fix for the stupid accuracy stats of guns going outside their box. It's been around for ages and annoying as hell (the accuracy thing also confuses me as I got no clue if a higher number is good or bad)
I would rather see them take a month or so to really focus on balancing the content we already have, because the game has some serious issues on that front. The NC have very poor MAXes and ES vehicle weaponry, the Flash is dramatically underperforming, the Harasser is way too strong, ZOE MAXes are broken as heck, etc, etc.
Give us a sweeping balance patch or two and then worry about breaking it again with even more new content.
I don't think you can balance things that are by design unbalanceable. The NC MAX will never be in a good position overall because of its exclusive rights to shotguns, same with the Enforcer Mod. They'd have to start putting chokes out there and changing RoF/DPS or up and replace some of them with Gauss variants, which would cause almost as much bitching as it would fix.
Really the only things I think the game needs are some balance tweaking, actual faction identity, and maybe a few new vehicles for like mid sized squads or something, as a thing I've always wanted, personally :v:

Honestly balance for me isn't so bad that I think this is a 100% need right now. Yes, balance is needed and must not be put off but for me the game desperately needs cont locking, resource overhaul system they mentioned, and synergizing those two improvements into improving the lattice and meta-game as a whole.
I literally don't play PS2 anymore because I need more of a reason to play than just shooting doods. The metagame is still completely missing from the game and it needs it to really pull me back in and make it so my actions actually have impact.
Balance wise is much, MUCH better off than the completely absent meta game and interesting resource system.
They also REALLY need to change it so facility capture works more like rush from Bad Company or Dustbowl from TF2 than like capture points from BF3, because the capture point system is really flawed for the type of game PS2 is and in making that change they would solve SO MANY issues with capture flow, spawn camping, monotony, different base types feeling varied, etc.
So have they announced anything new content wise? I know the first 'operation: fix the damn game' patch got rolled out a week or two ago, but what about new weapons or vehicles that actually make the empires feel more unique?
They still aren't done with the optimisation yet. They have OMFG part 2 to push out first, after that I imagine they'll get right back to new content.

I'm all for some more unique capture mechanics for some places too. Things like CTF, multi-stage assault, and payload for a couple of the bases. Or some added steps to some bases, like disabling auto-guns so you can go into a useful building, decrease/increase spawn times for people, or deploy a Sunderer at a closer position.
I like the usual capture mechanic, but some variety is nice and new objectives could lead to new specialized weapons for these objectives.

Yeah more stuff like this would be sweet. I would very much be a fan of having more shit to do than just an entire hex focused on 1-4 capture points.
I imagine it'll be another 6months before we might see core gameplay changes though.
Oh man when they release the cloak that recharges when you sit still, I'm going to try my damndest to sit in control point capture range while being almost impossible to spot. There's a few places I feel like this would be a serious issue.

Source?
I thought they got rid of that during beta
I can't really think of a source, come to think of it. Some Friday night broadcast from forever ago would be my vague memory of such a thing, so maybe it is just a scrapped idea.
Spawned into a fight and all I heard was whistling. quit before I had a bad time.
I'm sure there will be some cop out where that cloak doesn't actually reach the full cloak amount even while standing still.
I fucking love Somme-like battles. Massive push towards the Regent-Rock and a standoff that lasted for 45 minutes of constantly going back and forth. I get the shakes seeing men charging in an open field.

I've always wanted a section of a continent that was devoted to a heavily fortified trench warfare style of combat. Just like a big section of land between a couple of bases that's littered with bunkers, trench systems, tunnels, tank traps and stuff. Well, it sounds fun in theory but in practice it'd probably just play like shit though.

I wish they added a continent with a trench line for that very reason
I think a good example of trench warfare is sitting on a biolab leaf trying to get in.
I personally don't like it, and avoid it because I just want to murder every ally who is sitting back shooting, waiting for something to happen.
I always see people bundled up by them and wonder what would happen if they all just slammed into the lab at the same time.

I read about it on the forum, you won't get to use your primary weapon if you wear that cloak.

Yeah pretty sure those cloaks were scrapped along with Icarus Jumpjets and all the other cool stuff they teased us with.
In one of the really old trailers a guy uses jump jets a lot like the ones in WH40k: Space Marine and opens fire on a tank with what looks to be an assault rifle with AP ammo, where are either of these things
Probably the same place the ability to shoot through aircraft canopies, knife while cloaked, destroy terrain and cling to vehicles are. The "NOT ACTUAL GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE" disclaimer.
this is a pretty good deal.

Why is it not ingame though?
This game has been too easy recently, do you guys have any tips on how to make the game interesting?
How do you guys play Planetside to make it challenging?

Why don't you play knife only or try to dogfight with only rocket pods?

Bummer, I only have 160 or so SC left over

I once saw a rocket podder take out a liberator that was doing that thing where you fly upside down and use the shredder to decimate air targets.
