Made 500 certs today. Hit 3000 just a few minutes ago. I think it is time to stop playing for today.
Welcome to TR.
Then the MAX enters lockdown. Good luck to everyone in front of it in a 120º arc.

made 200 certs in an hour. Thank you alert. [editline]29th April 2013[/editline]
Then the MAX enters lockdown. Good luck to everyone in front of it in a 120º arc.
eaaasy target. You can't even side step those lazy rockets.
Made 500 certs today. Hit 3000 just a few minutes ago. I think it is time to stop playing for today.
How?! It's taken me a full month to accumulate 750 playing on and off.

By mutilating its fins? You're a monster!
no its just trying to find a mate
Have they worked up on any optimization for AMD in the past? I started playing again yesterday and I think it markedly improved...
On Woodman today on Amerish the TR actually fucking won an alert. I was so dam proud of us for once.
Noticed how NC performed? Pop balance was pretty even at the start of that alert, yet NC were already the ones with least territory. They lost with something around 9% and their pop was like, 20? 4th faction doing it again. Makes me question SOE's sanity, who in their right mind would allow two chars on the same server in a game like this? Loved the moment where we (I played with 501st) had to deal with 15 fabulous sanderers on a single smaller outpost. Seriously, 15 sunderers just crashed into the base in a column, against our single squad and we still managed to reduce their numbers by 7-8 (combination of drop pods and C4, heavies couldn't stand a chance against organised explosive pounding).
I've started to notice that the TR population or just tactics vastly improve starting at around 10PM on the Helios server. Last night I was with a Armor column, and today it was just a massive advance into Vanu Territory that slowed down after 2 hours or so.
I'm a fan of multiple characters because there's only one server I can play on and naturally all my friends are different factions.
Likewise. I have three characters. One for each empire, all on the same server. I play TR 99% of the time, and only occasionally jump on the other characters if my outfit isn't running a platoon or I want to test weapons. Not sure how you'd stop 4th factioners though. Maybe incentives to pick a main character?
Coming in GU14.... But yeah, the ZoE module is going to have crappy effects, currently you get a white overlay on you much like the HA sheild (just as fucking predicted) If they added cool effects to the ZoE module (like tron lines across the muscle fibres.... IMAGINE!) it would make the vanu max feel like something fearsome, sometimes feeling and placebo effect plays into how effective things can be. Imagine if the Current MCG made a noise like Thors hammer striking the very fabric of the earth and had the Beta model (the one the copied the fucking killcon from, No seriously the killcon for the MCG is drawn from the old underslung handhold "old painless" design) it would probably see more use and people would swiftly learn how to use it to its maximum potential. It's intimidation factor would weaken the enemy resolve and make them prone to panic. Now if the ZoE mode you MAX look like it's gone into "shits on like donkey kong" mode, the placebo effect alone could make the max user into something more powerful than it actually is. Stats and numbers are cool but design is JUST as important.
Actually Higby posted on the forums that the current white overlay effect is a placeholder

People relogging, abusing the mechanic to get basically free certs on their alts, basically bleeding the loosing side even more. It's getting rediculous on some servers with unbalanced population. What kind of incentive can you give to counter that?

I think this whole 'fourth faction' thing is a load of nonsense until we see some stats from SOE
I think this whole 'fourth faction' thing is a load of nonsense until we see some stats from SOE
Well, when outpost you're defending is under attack by a platoon of extremely well equipped BR5-10 chars it's obvious something's fishy here. I see this kind of shit quite often on my server maybe within a week after the new update. And problems with VS/NC populations across all the servers after that infamous Magrider nerf are undeniable. VS pop was drastically reduced on most servers while at the same time NC pop increased.
The VS population on Connery has exploded recently. [editline]30th April 2013[/editline] It's terrifying.
They've secretly been hiding underground the last 4 months, waiting for NC and TR to weaken each other, waiting for their scientists to make their weapons work beyond 50m, waiting for their fabulous tailors to finish dyeing all their spandex black... Now, Vanu has come to reap the sinners. There is nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. NC and TR are mere insects before the great tide of Vanu! REPENT! REPENT!

If I notice that one of the factions on my server are hugely underpop (i.e by more than 5%) I'll hop on one of my alts instead. Sure, it doesn't really do much but I figure one more person playing on a faction that's currently underpopulated is better than just going on my main and adding to an already overpopulated faction.
I think this whole 'fourth faction' thing is a load of nonsense until we see some stats from SOE
I don't. It was never that much of a problem before but I find it extremely obvious now that alerts are in. One faction (usually the NC on Mattherson, which is already normally the most populated faction) always seems to get a pop overload as soon as an alert starts and returns to normal when it ends.
What IS fourth factioning? Do you log onto an alt during an alert, be useless for the most part until it's nearly ended, then log back in with your main character since its faction will have taken land?

Also playing around in max and accidentally a thing I want.
