The worse thing about fighting in a Biolab is when the rest of the faction refuse to give backup, or give back up way to late. We once invaded a VS Biolab, had the generator destroyed and died after three minutes stuck in the generator room because no one came to destroy the SCU.

ZOE is less of a bother in a biolab. The problem with ZOE is that the vanu max is already superior on open fields due to blueshifts and the mobility makes a non-handicapped vanu max just about impossible to fight out in the open. You need to trick him around corners with C4 or rockets, that's the only way.

We had three ZOE's kill eight terran maxes in a biolab just because of their speed before they were taken down. When I fight against VS, I try to make sure I'm in a vehicle. Otherwise, I prefer to fight NC.

Pff those Harassers with vulcan miniguns on top are really powerfull. You really cannot kill them with a lightning tank unless you have range.

Pretty much all the AV Harasser weapons can 1v1 a Lightning even when the Lightning has an AP cannon - maybe not in a straight-up fight, but the Harassers' mobility and ability to repair-on-the-fly make it very hard to kill.
An AV Harasser can kill an HE tank without any trouble, sometimes even when the tank has a gunner.
is the TMG-50 for TR any good? Saved up 500 certs and just got back in to heavy assault. Otherwise I think I might just spend it on the T1S Cycler so I can have a grenade launcher and etc. for my medic

It's good at medium and long range, though I've heard that one of the other LMGs is better/more well rounded (T16 I think). The TMG-50 is my primary HA weapon.
If you want a UBGL gun, get the TRAC-5S for the engineer if you don't already have it. The gun itself is a terrible piece of shit but having basically infinite grenades is a huge bonus.
So I logged onto my vanu, long time ago. I go to some random place that is being capped from us and I find that they're spawncamping us, enemy NC troopers are just standing straight in front of our spawn dying and dying and dying as I grab free kills, WHY?!
Am I the only one who was planning to drop some big bucks for the Black Friday 3x SC sale, only to laugh and spend it on Steam sales instead when the [I]actual[/I] Black Friday sale turned out to be, like, the smallest and most pointless promotion they've ever had?
SC is just too poor a value for me to buy it at anything less than a 2x sale, so SOE had better step up its game at Christmas if they're hoping to bleed my wallet for anything.
I'm just waiting for christmas, gotta be a mad sale then. Shit gonna be so cash.
I'm also leaning towards buying 6 months of premium again, I hate their premium system but I can't resist dat accountwide boost.

If it's any conslation, I have a bad habit of activating my ZoE just in time for a heavy to pull out a rocket launcher and line up a shot...
I am not good at ZoE.

The only time SOE has done 3X sales were for christmas time
Last year it was on the 24th
Still I doubt they are going to do them again because it seems they've switched to a new format where SC you buy online is a % off instead of the double sales from any code they usually did

It's pretty much the worst HA gun 90% of the time but it's a very satisfying weapon to use when it [I]does[/I] do well.
I'm pretty sure that most carbines and assault rifles have a faster TTK than the MCG :v:
I always love people underestimating the skyguard. It has so much more of a presence then other AA.

I find the fact that half the SMGs and a whole lot of assault rifles and carbines (by the way the fastest shooting carbine belongs to the [I]NC[/I] of all people) fire as fast or faster than the MCG incredibly disappointing
what's with people talking crap about the chaingun? it's amazing, you just need to know how to use it
if you crouch and don't move you can pretty much full auto snipe people with it and even on the move if you burst fire with it it's extremely accurate so yeah, if you expect to use it as an assault rifle with a big magazine it's going to suck
The main thing to keep in mind is that moving makes the bloom skyrocket otherwise it's extremely accurate

The thing with PS2 is that the build-up means it has a crap TTK and TTK is like 90% of PS2, also standing still will get you killed.
plus even if you burst fire with it it's out of ammunition in like two minutes

It's a support weapon, like the lasher
Spin up is not a problem if you're mowing down people from a distance where anything short of a sniper rifle can't hit anything, even better if the enemy is dancing around instead of aiming they won't squat
It's probably one of the hardest weapons to use since it relies more on positioning and tactics rather than twitch shooting, but it's still brilliant at what it does

AA base turrets are stationary however, and relatively easier to avoid. Compared to all forms of mobile AA, the skyguard has the most noticeable presence.

I own it but I admit I've never once used it before. I'm guessing Skyguard's issue is the same with Burster maxes in that you have to spend resources to dedicate yourself to looking at the sky. No one wants to be that guy. They're crucial but their major weakness is how dull they are to use when you could be among the rest of the infantry swarm, focused on the ground and enjoying the battle.
Skyguards are fun to use because you can [I]chase down[/I] aircraft while holding down the trigger to watch them panic.
You can also kill other vehicles with it, AFAIK the Skyguard does about the same damage as the Basilisk. I've won fights against C75 Viper Lightnings using just the skyguard, plus you can get kill assists against big things like Magriders.
It's utter garbo against infantry, though. Crazy COF means you can miss half your shots against a dude 10 meters away.
I haven't played this game in ages. What's new? Is the latency still bad?
