Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

Killcams just feel obnoxious to me. If someone jetted up to a good spot or managed to sneak into somewhere they can snipe from and not get found easily, it's kinda dumb to just literally make them a giant target after they get one kill, defeats the purpose imo. distance and maybe direction are all you should get.
The vocal minority always gets it's way through.
Well, since reading is hard, I'll sum it up for you.
The most they're willing to do is to have it like in the early Battlefield games, where, after dying, your camera slowly pans over to the direction of where the lethal shot was fired.
That's it.
No Call of Duty killcams, no early prototype detailed analysis of where the person is, just pans over to the direction of the killer.
Now stop with your kneejerk shit already.
lol its still a dumb idea that way though
once it shows you the area they shot from it's easy as hell to just guess which spots they were shooting from when you take into account which angle the bullets were coming from and etc. when you were killed, unless it just looks off into a mountain range a mile away in which case you really don't know any more than you would with the current system. It's a layer of hand holding that takes away some of the better features of two classes and its also a bad feature that doesn't really need to be present.
Tbf a pan of the general location you shot a guy from won't be giving away any information that your bright ass tracers didn't already
tbh keep that shit outta planetside 2, if you didn't/can't figure out where you died from then you need to pay more attention.

We read it. It's still dumb as fuck. There is still too much information you can gather from that and relay over TS. Right now it's just "I got hit from somewhere west." With this it'd be "I got hit from the west... oh there's a bunch of trees there. I bet he's hiding in one of them."
Just recently started playing this game, and i keep getting my ass handed to me by Vanu guys.
What's the best anti-infantry class out there (apart from the max)?

the lmgs of heavy assault men can gun down anyone super hard at close range
also, if you have enough certs, you can try smg/infiltrator, a winning combination

Alright, i'll try that out.
You reminded me of another thing though-- What should i prioritize using certs with?
Weapons, upgrades on vehicles, upgrades on infantry, etc?

it depends what you prefer to do, really
try playing for a while until you've figured out whether you like divebombing people from above or running them over in tanks, then when you've found your preference, decide what needs improving - for example, do you need your fighter to go faster, or your tank to have more armor
a good starting point for certs though is nanoweave armor for infantry and nanorepair for vehicles
That picture gets me every time.

how about we remove c4 for heavy assaults and instead just have them suplex a tank if they get close to it

That's really all they need to find and kill a Light Assault who's snuck up on top of a building, or into a tree, or whatever. It doesn't have to put a big arrow into him when the camera pans up into a tree.
"Oh, gee, I wonder where he is?"

Looks like the majority of the infodump are STEAM achievement names.
Is it just me, or are aircraft unbelievably difficult to manuever in this game?
I can handle myself well in a slow aircraft like Galaxy, but as soon as you put me into a fighter i'll probably have crashed it in 1-2 minutes.

For me it's the reverse. It feels as if I was made for this. The amount of maneuvers I've pulled off both in ESF and Liberator would put a Harrier pilot to shame.

Any info on those sales that were mentioned earlier? I got stuff I want to buy but I don't wanna miss out on something that might end up on sale

I find the biggest issue for me with ESFs is how to control them properly in a battle. I find it really difficult and kind of gimmicky to move the thrusters into a vertical position to move sideways n' shit like you see everyone else doing effortlessly.
flying ESFs in the game is fun for five seconds until you come up on one of the BR101s who got there using exclusively the reaver/etc and can do all the maneuvers that literally shouldn't be possible
Unless you're with a bunch of other fighters, the high level AA guys always pick you out.
I think the most useful thing to do as a fighter is hang by allied AA. Whenever I fly with friends (rarely), the ones that die turn into AA nearby and we hang around where they are. Works alright.

Only thing is that Vanu SMGs kill faster than the other faction's LMGs.
I'm considering switching to Vanu or Terran, mainly because NC can never finish an alert.
What's your guys' opinion on this? Do any of you NC players feel like we hardly get a slice of the cake, or am i too new to this game to form an opinion on this?
Seems to be completely dependant on server. TR cobalt sucks big NC freedom for example, but seems to dominate on other servers.

On the ground, its fairly easy, but the damage indicator for flying fucking sucks. A general pan would help at least know where you fucked up.

It seems to me that Connery NC are always getting fucked up by Vanu outmaneuvering our forces and enveloping us, or the Republic crushing us under sheer numbers. At this point I'd switch factions, but I don't want to lose all the sweet stuff I've spent time and money getting. If I could somehow defect and get my faction specific stuff refunded, I'd be all over it though. It seems to me like Connery NC are mostly retarded at this point of time.

But maybe I just need to transfer to Cobalt depending on where it is.
