• Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

I have a long road ahead of me, but at least I have some manner of long-term goal in regards to Certing. With all these new fancy schmancy weapons for ESFs, I have quite a few loadout ideas for the ol' Reaver. I already have two partially implemented: An Anti-Armor configuration with composite, flares, hover, Shotgun and Breakers. Then my Scout configuration: Radar, Stealth, Shotgun and Breakers (If I had the Certs, they'd be Coyotes.). Come to think of it, that Shotgun is damned good... Still only have 5 shots until I can max it to 7, but man it does wonders against Infantry, aircraft and vehicles in general... And is it just me, or are the new Nose cannons straight up upgraded versions of the default gun? I mean, yeah, their RPMs are a bit lower, but that ammo count and reload + Upgraded Reload? Yikes. Far as I can tell the two do the same amount of damage and the same falloff.
I'm tired of having non-rendering engineer AV turrets shooting at me from 600+ meters away.

Eh, you'd probably have some people argue it is not worth it. The VS nosecannon is the best of them, though still not an automatic choice.

Even ZOE didn't get to run rampant for that long.

So what is the best nose cannon for the Mosquito in terms of Anti-Aircraft and Anti-Armour effectiveness?
I had so much fun flying with a battle gal in Waterson. Only issue was that there was so much friendly air that our battle gal kept swirling around and if they ever made an abrupt change a reaver or two(including me) would smash into them by accident.
My new PC can run this on max settings at a constant 60fps, even in big battles. I'm so fucking happy, just had a 3 hour session with some friends and it was amazing. :dance:

I also find myself getting more upset everytime I play Planetside 2, stuff like seeing that heavy assault who has no chance against 4 enemies ahead, trying to get him get inside my harasser and just ignoring it. Maybe I should take a break.

On Brigs, the skies seem to be dominated by syths today, drive one away with skyguards and there's 2 rocketing you in the back already. Also rant here: Magriders are to damn armoured for how agile they are, I mean its probably just my poor aim, but with a prowler in lock-down; at range is difficult to hit them with there ability to strafe, while they are free to shoot your stationary ass. Don't get me wrong though, Prowler is awesome, machine-gun of death especially since they reduced the recoil of the main gun, but its kinda seems as though lock-down is a bit counter-intuitive, granted you do more damage, but your also a sitting duck in a tank with the least armour among the other MBTs. Just wish lock-down gave you a bonus to front armour or something while active. Then again maybe I just don't understand the niche that the Prowler is meant to be strongest at, I mean I know at close range its at a disadvantage and avoid it at all costs, but all the MBTs have the upper-hand flanking an enemy ([I]again excluding close range[/I]) or the high-ground.
With the prowler you can lock down far away and dish out more damage than they can, thus win. You'll have to uproot and drive behind a hill and repair every now and then though.

I just mean Magriders specificity as they seem to have the advantage at range with mobility, and can just run away if they are close while you have to un-anchor and thus losing your advantage. You get the jump on them, they run away. They get the jump on you, you are boned.

They're both pretty huge buildings with a lot of space inside for the team to really get creative with the inside layouts. Yesterday I found out the awesomeness of the Trac-5 S. First of all the damage on it is godlike, I haven't used the standard gun in like a year so I had completely forgotten about its power. Second, equip smokes and NV on it and you become true evil. Enemies can't see you but you can see them(yeah they can spot you, but they must first find you in the smoke). I run this on my Engineer while throwing out maxxed ammopacks to the zergs, it's fucking awesome. Curious though, can you see the muzzle flash through the smoke? Was thinking of getting the Flash Suppressor if it does, but I can't find anyone to test it on.

How do I make the TR MAX an infantry killing machine? There is like 3 different choices of miniguns I don't know what's what.

This allows me to keep a wall of lead up by constantly firing while the other reloads for about 4-5 reloads before they both time up, but by then everything is dead.
It will be interesting to see how the new spawn room designs work. One of the worst parts of the gameplay right now is being on either side of the spawncamp as you capture a base.

The Cyler is more or less the same as the Mutilator in stats, but with half the clip like the others. 2 Mutilators is only 500 certs for one on each arm, and good for general use, however the Mercy would be good at longer ranges or if you have good aim, while the Onslaught as an advantage up close, especially if you get an extended mag. Edit: To the above. IMO there should be a lot more places that use the tech-labs SCU mechanic, as in be able to disable the spawn before the capture of a base is complete.
