Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think
Also I did the math:
the theoretical maximum amount of certs you can get for a single kill is around 77
You just have to have a hyper boost active on top of a membership on top of defending a facility during an alert on a max underpop server, WHILE ALSO being double XP weekend when killing a sundy with 12 extreme menaces inside
[editline]23rd January 2014[/editline]
The only thing that explains this is the patchnotes that implemented these features.
And if those passengers are MAXs, who have all killed you recently which gave them killstreaks? Also, that's not really one kill. That being the case, you could have the entire enemy team standing on a C4 with similar other conditions.

I don't think it'll lead to much difference. Any Sunderer that goes through the shield of a base with lots of dudes is going to die pretty quickly I imagine.
Maybe not though. I'm willing to see how it goes.
Honestly that cloak bubble thing sounds nice and fits well with ps1
The HV-45 is probably the best choice close up, corvus for long range. You could buy both as they are the same low price.
thanks
I played with the corvus in VR and I don't really like it. It's not got a good RoF imo. I'm a TR at heart, so I need the rakka dakka. Well, I shouldn't say TR at heart. They're just who I've played best as. I love the VS for pretty much everything else.
That 96% equip number is insane. It makes sense that it would be a high number but I wouldn't have imagined that.

Well there is no reason to equip anything else for a sundy unless you are pulling for a very specific role, so AMS is always the default. I.E. we use gate diffuser all the time in our outfit but we only pull it when we are specifically making a diffuser run, otherwise its a waste.

12 people isn't a single kill...
12 people isn't a single kill...
I interpreted his scenario is that it is 77 certs per person in the sunderer with a multi kill bonus and a streak.
What about vengeance bonus?
[editline]23rd January 2014[/editline]
Patch is out. Hornets buffed with 20% more damage. You can now 2-clip MBTs in the back, 14 missiles to take out a sunderer without any armor. 3 missiles versus another ESF.
Coyotes got their RPM doubled.

Its a single kill against a sundy.
Rather, read it more as single "shot"

I wonder how strong hornets are now with combonation of the method described earlier where you use your front gun along side it
I just found the best planetside 2 player.
WalterH.
I was talking to a guy on steam tabbed out (standing on palisade) Then as I get back inside the game and slightly move the vs friendly infiltrator in front of me shoots me in the head with his rifle.
I respawn and go to where he killed me where he still stands and say nice intentional teamkill, he uses voice macro to say: Thanks and headshots me again.
I then respawn and follow him sliding down a steep cliff as heavy assault with my skillcannon/magnum, he brings his default vs pistol out and shoots violently then I shoot him once with the magnum.
I then type that to my friend on steam, look back in the game and I am dead again by the same guy for a third time.
Before I respawn I can see the guy running away on the mountains and when I spawn hes no longer on the map and I also dont have enough for my harasser that would be able to hunt him down.

Trust me on this, but if somebody teamkills you-- be the better person and don't waste your time.
Because if he's dumb enough to waste his time teamkilling his allies instead of farming the enemy for certs, then the only reason he's doing this is to get a reaction. Believe me on this, i was in a flash and some asshole friendly in a sunderer shot me dead with a walker for no reason as they were driving by. Probably went on about 10 minutes looking for that asshole to no avail, whereas i could have used those 10 minutes and helped my team capture facilities.

You didn't spawn an ESF, hunt him down then crash into him? Wow 0/10 for effort

The only thing that matters is me T-bagging his dead body.
If somebody is pissing you off with intentional teamkills, tell them to stop or you'll report them. If they continue, report them for harassment.
Petty in-game vengeance killing accomplishes nothing. Real world temporary bans teach them to stop being a prick.
I agree with people saying to just report/ignore them. You waste time trying to get even so to speak, when you could be putting your presence and time to better use.
i guess you could hurl yourself in front of him until his weapons are locked, but it would be easier just to avoid him until he gets bored

Why did you try to type to your friend after you only hit him once? Did you really expect him to not kill you?
Got Auraxium on the MCG!
You crazy.
Why did you try to type to your friend after you only hit him once? Did you really expect him to not kill you?
With the magnum/skillcannon, once is enough. I know I should have said that I killed him also though.
With the magnum/skillcannon, once is enough. I know I should have said that I killed him also though.
Oh you head shotted him. I see now.
On a semi-related note, has anyone noticed that it is really, REALLY easy to nail headshots with the VS ghost even in close? Like I will run into a guy in the doorway quickly ADS with a 4x crosshair and insta kill him. I have no such luck with the Tsar-42 with a lower optic. Do VS weapons ADS faster on account of them being lighter or something?
Ah.
I haven't played this in a while.
I forgot how glorious it is to bathe in a huge battle.
Auraxium on the claw today, that takes care of pump shotguns. Both the bruiser and the claw are good shotguns, but if I were to choose which ones better, the bruisers extra pellet makes all the difference. Next gauss compact S and the stalker.
Oh boy, I'm totes gonna download this tomorrow to test out the optimization improvements alongside my new GPU. My CPU is still shit but hopefully setting all the Graphical options to max will lessen the load it it.
Does anyone else have issues with SOE accepting a password but then forgetting it or some shit?
Changed my password because I forgot it but it won't take the new one. Tried making a new account with the same password can't log into that account either.

Depending on what you think shit is, don't expect to get into big battles, since that'll eat your cpu.

Not that shit but it's definitely my bottleneck right now. I just overclocked it recently though so I'm better off than the last time I played PS2 a few months ago.
I get a nice solid 60fps everywhere on an FX8350 and 650ti. (Maxed out.)
Quick question - is the NS44 Commissioner worth getting? I main an NC infiltrator and typically use a scout rifle or SMG build and sometimes feel like my point blank armament is lacking.
Got 1000 certs again, soo Lancer or Lasher? Im leaning for the Lasher
Lancer is only worth it when you're playing with a well oiled squad that can deliver multiple fully charged lancer hits at once, otherwise it does very little damage individually.
Trialed the lasher last night and I have to say, that is a really fun weapon. Of course now comes the question of saving certs for the rumored crossbow next month or buying the lasher right now

Funily enough i was gunna drop 1.5k certs on the new missiles + misc reaver upgrades, but im gunna horde them until at least late February.
