VS: Large magazine weapon shooting explosive rounds or orbs. RPM increases after each shot until forced to reload or trigger is let go.
NC: TV Guided missile
TR: Zepher variant that has a larger magazine and higher RPM, but does less damage each shot. Each shot increases cone of fire, allowing it to spray a large area with shells from range.
As a primarily NC player I'm ok with this.

Let me know if they ever acknowledge the air to air problem.

If the speed is high on the NC one it will be brutal against other air targets. The TR one seems like it'll be great against infantry and trash against tanks, or OP against both.
The thing with EXE is most of their pilots aren't really that good. There are a few good pilots in there but a lot of them won't even evade burster fire.
They embarrass themselves a lot, most the time they just smack into each other, then zerg armor.
Someone else in my outfit took this, but it's a glorious screenshot:

TR one seems like ass. "Spray an area with fire" while the cone of fire gets larger translates to "not hitting anything" in practice, I'm sure.

Tried and true, as proven by rocket pods.

In summary:
Viper is good because it gives a lot of chances to land a couple of shells near infantry. VR is bugged for any AoE damage, so don't judge it there.
Since to really kill infantry though, any tank weapon needs a direct hit, and the Viper gives 6 chances. The next best choice is AP, for it's higher velocity making it easier to hit infantry. Don't bother with HE; you're worse at killing infantry and A LOT worse at killing tanks.
As for the TR Liberator weapon, it sounds like TR is becoming "NS guns with less accuracy and more bullets." Which is shitty.
I think giving the TR a souped up Banshee for the liberator would be better and a bit more interesting. It would certainly change the gameplay of lib gunning up a bit from the usual liberator weapons at least and would be distinctly TR.
So I decided to use my other two slots for characters on the other factions (on separate servers), I felt really OP on Vanu and I'd only played for a few minutes.
is it just me or does the west coast of esamir always seem to have the best fights

aside from the biolab that is

I made a VS character and managed to somehow do 100x better than I was doing on my TR with inf/HA. I have no idea what caused it, but I ended up staying alive for like 25 minutes while attacking and travelling between four outposts that were next to biolabs during a biolab alert.
I'm scared thinking what they'd be like certed out and with weapon attachments.

Ah that makes more sense then. TR really needs a revamp both in terms of weapon design/sound as well as being the RoF kings where they belong.
And a fucking 845 rpm gun.

If they keep this up, NC are going to have nobody to fight.

Broke my fucking wrist going up the damn grav lift.
3rd time this week.

The HE is amazing in clusterfuck battles. I made like 60 kills in a few minutes while sitting on the crown pelting down at TI alloys with it. I dunno how it is after the nerf a few weeks ago

I think the VS one should just be a charged laser beam that deals high damage over 3 seconds, so you can either focus the beam on one target for massive damage against armour or spread the damage over an area against infantry.
That would be pretty cool. We do not have any beam weapons yet, except for the VS RPG but that is just a pulse
[editline]16th February 2014[/editline]
it would look kinda retarded seeing people flail around with them though.
That TR one is a joke. It should be dual Banshees or something.
I keep getting networking related mutual kills, it is really annoying.
Besides that there are also the fun ones of course. At one point I tried grenade but it bounced against a wall right in front of me, after which a light assault got to me and shot me. Right after that he got blown up by the damn thing :v:

I'm sorry, what? How did that happen?
why shoot one bullet when you can miss 20 - tr high command
why shoot 20 bullets to actually feel the recoil when you can shoot 3 - nc high command
why bullets when you can disco balls - vs fashion committee
I just noticed that the stalker cloak re adjusts after you stop moving for a while, which seems to make you much harder to see. Does someone have a comparison picture of before and after the cloak readjusting itself?
[editline]16th February 2014[/editline]
okay i've been sitting inside the caproom for like a minute with TR running past me (and trough me at start) without doing a thing.
This is pretty neat.
EDIT:
apperently this has been a thing for a while now for all cloaks, which I never knew :v:. It is insanely handy on the stalker cloak though.

Yes.
Yes, yes, yes YES!
I love my banshees
[editline]16th February 2014[/editline]
Give the two banshee's the combined rate of fire and a 80 round clip.

Every time I switched to the spawn beacon whilst going up the grab lift my wrist would just sort of snap into that position and my guys fingers would twitch and shake.
It was awful.

It clearly states in the field manual that the Spawn Beacon is not rated for Grav Lift spectrum radio waves. You brought this on yourself.
Coincidentally you are not rated for Grav Lift spectrum radio waves, but cancer isn't much of a concern to your immediate health.
