It goes against every fiber in my body to say "but their weapons are stronger". But I honestly think NC weapons are a bit above TR.
Hoookay... just got off the test server, and there are a couple of new things to note.
First, the good. They've added a 'new player questionnaire' with about 8 or so questions about your preferred playstyle, then assigns you a class based on the answers. You can accept the class or pick a different one, and you'll be granted a free weapon for that class, which is pretty neat. I did the questionnaire on my NC character but didn't get the prompt on my VS or TR characters, so it looks like it's one per account.
Second, the oh my god why are they doing this this is just awful. Forced voice callouts. Every time you kill someone, every time you reload, every time you throw a grenade, every time you pick your nose, your character will politely and clearly inform [i]everyone[/i] in the area. So good luck doing any sneaky-sneaky stealth stuff, and say goodbye to your sanity when you're in the middle of a huge battle hearing nothing but [b]"FRAGOUTFRAGOUTENEMYDOWNFRAGOUTRELOADINGCOVERMERELOADINGCOVERMEFRAGOUTENEMYDOWN"[/b]

I can see why people might want this (hell, I'd accept it with open arms if it meant people knew I was dropping ammo without me having to radial-menu it), but at the same time, I don't think absolutely everything needs a callout. Probably just the things that would never ever really happen while trying to be quiet (like ammo).
Also, wouldn't it be great if infiltrators had a seperate callout set where everything they say is mumbled? They don't have much that they [I]need[/I] to call out anyway.
And while we're on verbal callouts, more voice macros would be nice. I feel like all the factions just need to learn to say no every once in a while.
They should make an in-game noise meter, so that when it's above a set mark the characters are doing these voice callouts.
When it's below it, the characters stay silent.
Phaseshift(renamed Shade) has a OHK up to 200m range(V10 has 250) and it has no bullet drop, jesus christ this is gonna be OP as fuck.

I heard the TR sniper (TRAP??) is pretty trashy, of course the poor old TR gets the end of the stick covered in shit and worms.
I think the TR should just get Jeagers instead of new weapons from now on. Charging the crown piloting Cherno Alpha would be so hot
From my experience, TR's strength comes from numbers, for example the Prowler's lockdown ability with several other tanks pretty much makes an unstoppable gunwall that makes every other MBT suffer critical existence failure
we need something better gun-wise. Twin-linked weapons for vehicles would be good. Maybe some bigger LMGs

Drone command vehicles. Not in the typical drone sense, where you just control a remote drone. Just a vehicle that houses its weapons in nearby floating drones.
Simulated more dakka by adding additional sources of bullets.

EM1 is the closest thing you'll get to a bullet hose/support gunner. The recoil is really managable and the fire rate and damage put in the midrange with other faction weapons. I've got my Auraxium on it, love the thing to death. Its a jack of all trades support weapon. You won't win in extremes but every other time you'll kick ass.

Last time I tested the TRAP (What a stupid name), it was actually a pretty good gun. It's like a not as beefy BR thats much easier to use and probably a slightly better ttk. Is it a sniper rifle? Absolutely not. But if they intend to make it a midrange weapon, then I feel like it is a really solid choice.

OK, so the new NC rifle is only specific for the infiltrator. It also has a conflicting role than what the devs want it to be.
They said it was supposed to be a rifle for 'aggresive snipers'
The rifle it is most comparable to is the Semi-Auto Scout rifle. In every single category aside from hip firing and mag size it is inferior. It has 3 more bullets per magazine but is otherwise a pile of shit.
It has a .9 second chamber time which is actually similar to that of the scopeless semi auto which has a 1.08 refire rate.
By 'Aggresive snipers' I was hoping that they would have provided an equivilant to the BR the the currently BR-less classes like the Light Assault and Medic to really change up the gameplay of those glasses. Alas, instead they made a gun that is categorically worse than weapons we already have in a class already saturated in semi auto weapons.
In fact, it is a fairly fucking stupid close range addition considering smgs are probably a far better choice for hipfiring than it.

It will also increase the frustration when you're surrounded by medics and no one revives you so your body decays. Or when you're a MAX and some dumb medic just ignores you as he runs on top of your corpse. Also this:

If you are just looking for a general bulletsponge kinda deal, nanoweave/resist shield is your general goto.
Just remember to pop your resist before you start an engagement, else it is kinda useless. Pack a medkit or two and you can usually last a good while provided you get to pick your fights.
