Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

TBH I don't see why they just don't make turrets like motion sensors.
You only get one, can only refill them at a terminal. Hell, give em ammo too if you want. I personally find it super silly that the best "turret" in the game shoots rockets and is a deployable that is free that you can take anywhere. Its the only AV-anything in the game that has infinite ammo.
So what are the best missiles to buy for the Mozzy?
Depends on what you intend to do with them.

just do hellfire rockets
rockets will be good at taking out infantry and vehicles when combined with the gun, gun will be enough to take out other ESFs

it happens with any cosmetics near the legs and stuff.
I wonder if it also happens with prowlers deploying
Hornet missiles have better range and burst damage so they're better for hit and runs, hellfire are more versatile but more risky to use
I've had quite some fun playing with a slug shotgun lately. I'm NC and using the mauler, and it pretty much is like the retarded brother of the impetus (slightly lower damage, slow bullets), but as light assault you can get into spots where no one ever looks, which works much better than the stealth.
Wouldn't you be better off doing that with the xBow? It does more damage/distance and is silent.
I could try that, but you can't afford missing a shot with it.
Crossbow tracers are very hard if even possible at all to see though, and it's a secondary weapon so you can just do whatever with your primary and whip out the crossbow for those situations
No muzzle flash either, at night you're pretty much impossible to spot, especially if you're high up. it's so much fun to see people look all over the place for you while you pick them off
Today I killed four ESFs, one Lib, and one Galaxy with my explosive crossbow. Today was a good day.
So, me and my friend were in a vanguard helping some small squad ghost cap a small outpost because there weren't any other good fights going on. we killed the odd infantry and vehicle here and there, when this TR sunderer shows up. "oh, a sunderer let's go get it," when suddenly a whole squad of heavys and maxes come pouring out of the party bus and rocket launch us to oblivion.
My friend and I were so confused, these guys totally went out of their way to kill our tank, we were laughing our asses off. we ended the night on that note.
Opinions on Scrapper or Racer chassis for VS Harasser? I have both already, but never really bothered to max either one. I'm too indecisive.

Scrapper.
Racer is kinda pointless when the Harasser has the ridiculous turbo and is already the fastest land vehicle in the game.
Scrapper lets you do sicknasty drifts, J-turns, and swerve to avoid incoming fire more easily at level 2. Just don't upgrade it to level 3, because then the Harasser becomes super twitchy.
I'm of the opinion that Surger is the go-to chassis for high quality harassment.
I'm probably the kinda person who shouldn't be within 500 meters of a vehicle. Even when I'm in someone else's vehicle they begin to have tendencies towards driving off cliffs.
New TR gun sounds coming.

For real? Aw yiss

Mo Dakka!
those actually sound pretty good
Unless they have only done certain guns I want to hear the minigun for heavy assault.

Those are fucking beautiful.
Turns out 1800 hours of battlefield really pays for itself when it comes to planetside 2.

So far it's only the carbines (maybe the repeater too, but I'm not sure)
TRAC-5 and variants of share the same sound, Jaguar and Lynx share the same sound and the TRAC 5 AMC has it's own sound.
New T5 AMC sounds are sexy.
I would imagine because both have equally horrible hit detection. :v:
To be honest I think Planetside 2 is better than Battlefield 4. Considering PS2 is an MMOFPS on a prototype engine that is really sad.

I've only had maybe two instances of bad hit detection in PS2 (where enemies just straight up stopped taking damage, and even then that might have just been a bug and not actually the hit detection) versus every single time I try to play BF4, and it somehow keeps getting even worse. And that's not even getting into the tons of other things that are broken with BF4 or the entirely shitty balance.

I live around 8,000 miles from the server I play on, and it still has better hit detection and responsiveness than a BF4 server IN THE SAME FUCKIN' CITY as me.

Uh, the reason why PS2 never has hit detection issues is because it's all clientside. That's also why you can get killed after returning to cover.

Battlefield 4 has this too where you go prone beneath a wall then a second later die to a headshot.
