I like the medic's Carnage AR more than the default, but I think the heavy's LMG is pretty good.
Reaver DMR is great for long and medium ranges. It can be usefull at CQC but nearly as good than other NC guns with better RPM.
I think my game just glitched, I saw a random Vanu infiltrator running down a road through the thermal optics of my Mozzy so naturally, I turned him into paste with the needler and all of a sudden I gained 200 certs... I went from 1027 to 1227 and I was so confused, I'm not complaining or anything but I'm worried if I might have it removed. Should I spend it now so it can't be taken away?
You probably got the Araxium medal?
Auraxium medal?
Nah, it couldn't of have been that because I only just got the golden medal the other day and I currently have something like 180 kills with the needler.
I started playing this again recently, created a TR character this time. I'm disappointed that development is so slow, in almost 2 years it seems all they've added is 1 new vehicle, lots of micro-transactions and a few small things like the hex system. I know there is another new vehicle and a new continent coming but it still seems to take a long time to get any new content.

Just because when you log in a large shiny button marked "Press here for blowjob" does not appear does not mean that the game has not been updated. [editline]5th May 2014[/editline] Also I like how they've toned down the subscribe button and added a joke above it. "HUNGRY FOR BATTLE? We're hungry... for food, water and coffee to help us continue development. Support us please!"

New weapons are nice, but vehicles and actual gameplay additions would be much better. Most of the stuff they've added involves micro-transactions (E.g. new weapons and cosmetics so they can make more money selling them). I know they changed a few places but i don't really consider that new content.

And they've reworked two thirds of the entire playable game area. Yeah they haven't been shitting out new content, but they've been focusing on reworking the stuff that needed reworking instead.
I know they changed a few places but i don't really consider that new content.
They completely rebuilt almost every base ever from the ground up. Whatever you may think, that is new content.
Time to Introduce this thread to the wonders of .WebM This video has a size of 1.99 MB Also Highlights how funny it is to get a headshot with a rocket-launcher. [vid]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9488680/quakeshot.webm[/vid]

(Big ass .WebM was here)
Can you not as that is just as annoying as when someone posts an over sized picture and then doesn't thumb it. I think they should be like youtube vids where they are forced to be the same size and if you want it bigger just click on the full screen button. You also cannot control the quality of the video so in comparison to youtube embedding this is just terrible but in comparison to GIFs it is great.

But yes it'd be nice if these were auto resized.

Still, be glad its not a massive auto-loading gif. Also you could probably push the quality on that a bit more. needs moar bitrate.

Compare the added weapons to the weapons added to tf2, while arguably an unfair example they pale in comparison. The base redesigns are nice and all, but past that there really hasn't been any new content.
Well if you don't see content as content then you're shit out of luck
Would you rather they just keeping shitting out endless amounts of new vehicles, continents and weapons as opposed to fixing key game issues?
Anyone having any issues with getting the steam overlay to work recently?
Anyone having any issues with getting the steam overlay to work recently?
Unfortunately for you I haven't so I can't help you there but this reminded of the time the steam overlay did cause problems for me... I had just landed my Mosquito out in the middle of nowhere because I received a message from someone, when I pressed shift + tab to bring up the overlay hitting shift activated my afterburner and launched me straight up into a cliff. I'm glad no one was watching at the time :v:
Would you rather they just keeping shitting out endless amounts of new vehicles, continents and weapons as opposed to fixing key game issues?
they're actually working on two new vehicles :v:
they're actually working on two new vehicles :v:
I know they are making the new valkyrie but what is the other ?
I know they are making the new valkyrie but what is the other ?
I'm assuming that huge tank that they're not actually working on just yet.
I'm assuming that huge tank that they're not actually working on just yet.
Oh ok. Well if it is something they probably aren't even working on yet I wont expect to see it for a couple of years probably longer with the development time for that kind of stuff. Would not be surprised if when I do end up seeing it I will see it as a big ass prop for a new base. At least we have guarantee for a new air vehicle.
I wonder if they'll cut development for Planetside 2 before we get to see the Colossus
I wonder if they'll cut development for Planetside 2 before we get to see the Colossus
Unlikely, Higby is one of those super enthusiastic types, he'd work on that game from his own basement in his boxers if that's what it took. Besides they have a multi year plan for PS2.
I wonder if they'll cut development for Planetside 2 before we get to see the Colossus
If that really did happen the game would drop to the same level that Planetside 1 is at. Because there is barely any content in the game to keep people interested as it is.
The Harasser and the Flash seem far too expensive to be useful. I don't think i've even seen anyone use the flash since i started playing again last week.
