What happened to the flash handling fix that was going to come months ago?

Why out of all things implants? As I heard people in-game talk about, it'll just seperate new and old players even more power wise.

They're making the implant system worse for it, too. I know it's easy to say "I'm boycotting X!", so I'm not. I'm just going to limit myself to buying cosmetic stuff at this point, and I've already spent way more than normal on this game. Voting with my wallet and whatnot.
As long as I have fun shooting people I'm sadly not going to stop paying. I've been living cheap the last few months, only rocking a membership but that is probably going to end on my birthday which is soon.
I can afford anything I'd need as well with over 5000 certs lying around, but getting friends into the game at this stage is proving difficult.

None of the implants are super OP despite the whining going on, they just support different playstyles. Honestly ETI is probably the only one I'd use anyway. Also new Nason's Defiance on Hossin is incredible.
All of the implants are pretty meh, I wouldn't worry about them being monetized.

Welp my sony ban expired, turns out I was banned for calling someone a troll, jesus christ. Anyways I don't really like the new NS shotgun, it feels too much like the jackhammer and I'd prefer keeping some faction identity. It's also pretty silly to buy the black version, slap windblown camo(TR) on the white and it looks identical(literally the same skin) as the black one with windblown camo.

This is a faction where they employ lasers etc... and a good lot of them employ the most genric of bullet hoses... Plus it fiddles with the ability to identify freinds and foes by hearing... when playing vanu i heard *BANG BANG* as opposed to *PEWPEW* and assume TR is in the area... on the other hand on my TR guy I hear *BANG BANG* and feel like pat of a bit TR assault... only to die to the NC players with the oversized [I]ak47 tact1c00l futu3r gun![/I] (take an extra swig on the ps2 drinking game if the gy who killed you with an NS weapon had "black ops of "insert facton here" in their name.)
The NS and TR weapons sound very different from each other, so it's easy to identify one by sound and check your minimap to see if it's an enemy or a friendly. Also, grenades have a new explosion sound on PTS. It actually sounds like an explosion now instead of a car crash.
I like NS weapons, it gives me a bit of relief from using a whole arsenal of weapons made up of the same 10 or so parts. Most of them sound hella cool too.
So what is the new thing people are anticipating? I bought the new TR carbine with certs and it's OK. Anything else important?

So I recently got my hands on the MCG... Good grief, In spite of the recent accuracy nerf it's still a veritable murder machine! I stood down a max head on and WON!... granted he WAS using dual flak BUT STILL! As soon as I get the adrenaline shield, I'll be nigh invincible.
I found that the best way to fight maxes is going all out no fear. They're usually shocked by the retalliation and heavies pack enough damage per mag to bring one down. MCG is terrifying in that regard
I do wish they could hear me laugh in voice chat though
Relatively nooby player here, are there any bolt actions that have open sights instead of those aperture circular sights? I'm trying to make a Russian bolt action conscript loadout for fun.
SAS-R, TSAR-42 and Ghost. if that's what you mean.
They're very fun to use since they can still OHK on headshots and reload quite quickly. I haven't used mine in a long while though.
