Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

I love getting hate tells. Makes my day.
They can sometimes be annoying. I killed a guy twice in a row and did a V6 and he wouldn't leave me alone afterwards. I didn't reply back to him but he just kept bitching until he finally went offline.
I don't think I've actually had that many tells from people that annoyed me. I've actually had a few "well played" or "nice shots" over the year. Not many, but most of the messages I get are pretty civil.
Hate tells are the best though, or accusations of hacking. When people think you're hacking then you know you're on a roll.
It is very rare that I get any hate tells but I get positive tells all the time. I mainly fly and the atmosphere with air combat is generally really nice. Enemy pilots often send tells asking where I am for another duel as it was so fun. I think the competitive side to it makes people more inclined to talk and surprisingly not in a bad way.
Start using A2A lock ons and your hate tells will skyrocket.
Grow a thicker skin and block people you really don't like. I mean really, why do you care what some 14 year old asshat says about you on the internet?
I don't really care and take to heart each and every insult, but it sort of takes the wind out of my sails to get told to fuck off and die when I'm having a good time. Is being able to hide the chatbox, which is of no use to me ever, really that much to ask?

It's just that I've seen what turning off chat has done to World of Tanks and it really sucks. People not reading or communicating when the game changes and requires at least some level of cooperation has done a lot of damage to the game.
As the TR on Amerish Woodman I can confirm that it is entirely possible to spawn camp a warp gate. With a large enough force you can have your enemy completely trapped with no way out.
You would think it is boring but there is a HUGE no mans land area so it makes for interesting combat watching all the vehicles and men trying to run across it and getting gunned down. Also all the tracers flying from side to side looks amazing as everyone is so fanned out on both sides.
I kinda wish I recorded my gameplay of the most recent one it was awesome. You can get shit loads of kills to even as an attacker. Probably less fun on the receiving end.
but that is legitimate gameplay
it isnt
~omg spawn campers I'm telling the admin!~

The problem isn't when the actual frontlines are on your warpgate, it's when the frontlines are some 10 territories away and theres 5 enemy ace pilots buzzing around your warpgate, just outside of G2A and flak range, picking off any aircraft that leaves the bubble.
That is a major dick move.
And it happens more oftenly than one might think.

I am having a hard time telling if you are complaining about my post or just being dumb. Encase you think my post it complaining about spawn camping warp gates if you read the post it is not it is quit the other way around.

Now this is something that pisses me off greatly. To be honest it happens all the time wherever forces are bored pilots just want to get some kills and ruin your day.

so what is wrong with disrupting the other team?
You're clearly getting annoyed that they're wrecking you with vehicle timers.
Man up.

I'm just reiterating my original point.
Not even bothering with yours.

Gonna have to agree with Nodachi here. It's a bit dickish if they're just doing it to troll, but it's still legitimate as they are helping their empire by denying reinforcements.
If the front line is 10 territories away and they're out of AA range of the WG, then they're in range of the surrounding bases. There's nothing stopping your squad from spawning at one of those, pulling AA and wrecking them from behind while they're focusing on the WG.
In other news, they're finally fixing decals on composite armour.

Bring back the empire-switch lockout from PS1 I say. Except maybe only make it an hour instead of a whole day or whatever it is.

But then how can I log on for my delicious daily certs?!
Could have it so the lockout doesn't activate if you're not on your character for more than 5 minutes or something.
Well that would still be painful if you first play then intend to cap points before going to bed or something. They should just have a button that caps points for all characters when you log in or something.

Easymode, you get login certs for every character upon loading up one.
So I'm far above a base in my Skyguard just shooting at ESF's that are trying to attack it when I suddenly get TKed and am blown up by C4. The first thing I assumed was it was someone who I killed earlier that came back on their alt and TKed me - but no this was a BR100 VS.
After I logged out I took a look at their killfeed and I noticed they had TKed a few other Skyguards as well. What had happened (from what I could see) is that they were killed by a TR Skyguard and got frustrated at Skyguards and went around and killed any they could find - friendly or not.
The assholism of pilots never ceases to amaze me.
They really are the most entitled group of assholes in this game. No one is worse than an ESF pilot. Was pretty much the same with all the Reaver pilots is PS1, always fucking assholes.
Join the AA crusade today!

My interactions with many flying individuals reminds me of playing a MOBA - maximum insults.

:C
If I get shot down, I get shot down. I'm not gonna bitch...I have my certs in Vangaurds and infantry as well.

By which we mean the ESF assholes are the biggest assholes in the game.
The ESF cool guys are pretty cool tho.
Speaking of assholes, I just got a report and an angry hackusation because I saw an infiltrator hiding in a bush through my thermal optics and turned him into paste with my needler.
"TR pilots are shifty as higby when it comes to seeing people" was one of his most memorable quotes.

The only time I get angry is when I ask my platoon mates what I'm flying into and they say nothing or don't know, which is weird because bustermaxes and Skygaurds have a very specific sound.
That or the god damn BR100's just flying around to fuck with people. I really hate flying against them. I think that's why most pilots just do Rocketpodding and that's it. Shooting them down has to be the most satisifying feeling though, I've gotten so many hate tells from TR pilots. VS pilots are usually nice about it.
New Flash handling is quite nice, it moved it from from absurd to borderline bearable.
Only real issues now is:
-You still can't do a 180 by braking without spinning out of control and losing all momentum.
-With Racer 3 you can't do a 180 from start(stand still, rev up and try to turn 180 degrees).
-Racer 3 massively increases chance to spin out of control when accelerating.
-Gun angle is still terrible.
But it's more fun to use now, I might try some more dedicated wraith renegade gunning.
Reminder that tomorrow starts another double XP weekend for all-access users. I think I'm gonna try auraxium some gun during it.
I love the new TR assault rifle, the TORQ. It's so good.
It doesn't deal much damage (125) and the ROF is only like 10 rpm higher than the Cycler TRV, but the thing is just stupid accurate - tiny CoF bloom and not much horizontal/vertical recoil.
Plop on a Compensator and a Foregrip, then hold down the trigger and you can mow down players 40m away and still get most of the bullets to hit, unlike pretty much every other TR weapon.
Dunno, I don't feel any difference, but I haven't tried it in the field, I need to conserve money and certs for a while.

I believe this is why servers just went down. There's been a lot of pissed responses on implants since their release.
Edit:
now they added "Down for scheduled maintenance" on the forums, but no patchnotes on the forums, only that tweet.

Damn it I wanted to check out the new ARs :/
Servers have been up for a while now.
implants wouldn't be so bad if they didn't do the dumb charge thing, the charge should just be over time or get rid of it completely
