They could of at least made t1 implants free or at least use an insignificant amount of charge. It's just a load of f2p monetization bull. Also, unless I'm mistaken, there was a huge outcry over the way implants functioned when they were first announced, what exactly was changed? Because I don't recall the difference between the old suggested system and this one.

Apparently there was a bugged drop cap that they've removed now. Still smells like crap to me but I'll wait and see before I make a full judgement.
I only found a singular dropped implant. It was the one I least wanted as well. The damn EOD HUD.
You actually wanted that less than the one to hold breath longer? I can't argue your tastes, but I am surprised.

Dear SoE. Weapon Swap speed implant. Weapon Reload speed implant. You're welcome. [editline]23rd May 2014[/editline] Also On that subject, how about an implant that cases you to be resurrected with a % of shields based on it's level, at the cost of a large chunk of energy consumed upon being revived.

Haha wow, that's fucking gold.
Okay so since a couple of days ago Planetside 2 has been causing some very odd problems. I can play for an hour or two, maybe less and all of a sudden my screen will suddenly go black, the sound will start looping and just ends up making this "DRRRR" sound, my monitor says "No Signal" and I lose power to my keyboard and mouse. The first time this happened all the fans on my pc went up to full blast but it hasn't done that since, every time this problem occurs I have to manually restart, it's also freshly built, I've only had it for a mere matter of months so I can't be sure if any of the components are dying. Anyone else had a similar issue? Please note that this doesn't happen with any other game, no matter how long I play it for. I also checked my PC temperatures whilst playing and it sits around 40-45c which was average for when I was playing the game before, never gets much hotter than that unless I play it for ages.
I have this issue, but only for Guild Wars 2 and Space Engineers. No other game does it, but those two do it like clockwork. Replacing the video card solves my issue, but I'm not downgrading to my 5750 for two games
I wish they made a hotkey to turn off the implants, gets quite frustrating swapping it out each time to just save charges. Other than that I like the implants, gives me something to look forward to in collecting and infusing them into charges/next tier.
So I downloaded this like a year ago and couldn't play it on my old laptop. Got this new laptop last week and I can play it now. So I gotta ask if it's still worth getting into, and if I can maybe get a beginners guide linked to me or something.
I'd say yeah its worth. As for guides i cant link Anything but check out Wrel on youtube, he's got very informative videos
be sure to use his amazing pro leviathan loadout while wearing your wrelmet
I only found a singular dropped implant. It was the one I least wanted as well. The damn EOD HUD.
is the drop rate really low?
DAMMIT T-RAY JUST GIVE US BERETS ALREADY Seriously, he won't allow berets but this gets in?
Bandannas, cowboy hats, patrol caps and peaked caps (for the TR) are all fine but a beret isn't futuristic enough and apparently isn't associated with rebels. Okay. I don't buy into the Tray hate much but damn is his stance on berets baffling.
We're also made up of Mercenary companies.
Yeah but that doesn't negate the fact that the NC are rebels and berets are commonly associated with rebels. Besides, they were in PS1 too.
berets are not commonly associated with rebels what are you talking about lmao
berets are not commonly associated with rebels what are you talking about lmao
They're associated with any military/paramilitary.
berets are not commonly associated with rebels what are you talking about lmao
So you're saying that no one ever makes the connection between revolutionaries like Che Geuvera or any number of paramilitary rebel groups around the world and berets? There's definitely an association there.
kinda wish light assault's jump jets had more thrust power. i don't mean, like, making it so LAs can zip around super fast like tribes, just that they lifted you up a little faster. right now, to me, it just feels like i'm being slowly lifted into the air by a crane instead of using a jetpack. also

You'd get blasted into the air but had little movement capability. They removed it later in beta, no idea why.
So I made a character for the blue and yellow guys because they had lots of guitars in their theme. Did I pick the wrong faction? They seem to be routinely beaten in like, every US server that I went on. Otherwise the game is fun. Strafing seems to be really clunky, and I can't figure out where to get zoomy four wheelers, but playing engineer and jetpack man are at least proving to be entertaining even when dying a ton.

And no you didn't pick the wrong faction, they're pretty much balanced and equally easy/hard

They're so easy to do well with. Then when you learn the ropes, you can transfer over to the TR or NC and be with the real men
