Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

I have seen people get so mad at liberators that they fly Galaxies into them.

Oh man remember when a bug made liberators invincible it was just the fucking worst. They would camp your warp gate untouchable destroying anything trying to leave.

That's is my favourite thing to do, especially when they cry about it and tell you to get some skill.
Sadly though it's probably still the most effective way to kill a Lib...
You guys think libs as bad wit until they release the valkyrie. Libs are the ultimate ground control but the valkyrie will be the ultimate air control just wait.
Four BR100 guys in that the two in rumbler seats with anti air rocket launchers and C4 a super accurate dedicated gunner and an ace pilot. It will dominate both air and ground forces once they used to dropping C4 from it.

Our just get good at using the dumbfire RL on the move... Seriously... OHKO ESFs, Decimate tanks, Make a lib think about what it's doing...
And for infantry... sweet zombie space God-Emperor.... the Vanu will have the advantage using this thing, just because the gunners can spray and pray with the lasher and cover a small area in little fuckyou balls.

Yeah, but it'll probably be significantly less armored than the Lib. Probably will receive damage from infantry weapons as well, like ESFs do.
What I think is kind of funny is that they intend to make it so flares are standard and you can use another ability too. Flares + fire extinguisher or other good combo will make it even harder to kill the good pilots once this change is made.
Hopefully the Valkyrie will have a blind spot or something to allow people to sneak up on it.

The gunners won't be able to fire on the same target simultaneously - bar dropping tank mines or C4 on ground targets - unless they're capable of turning more than 180 degrees (assuming they're sitting perpendicular to the direction of flight), and likely won't be able to reliably fire on targets above or behind it.

I doubt lasher fire will be able to deal much damage. And you can still shoot people in rumble seats.
It would, in my opinion be a lot cooler with a chaingun heavy on each side, but you'd have to fly really close to deal any damage as one.
There is one thing I know and that is it will be an amazing feeling to kill the people in the rumbler seats. I often shoot at ESFs and randomly get the kill so randomly firing at a valkyrie and killing the rumbler people will be awesome. I bet we will start to see specialist recon sniping them.
I wonder if flak will hurt the guys in the rumble seat.

Thanks now I'm having PTSD flashbacks from beta when just standing within 10 meters of a deployed gal under burster fire would instagib you.

Oh man I remember when gals could deploy good times.

Kindof terrifying, kindof makes sense.
Oh man I remember when gals could deploy good times.
I landed both wing thrusters on either side of a chasm and managed to deploy the gal. People who spawned fell to their deaths. It was fucking hilarious
Having a "skilled" lib nearby is like war of the fucking worlds!
You poke your head out and FAZAM! gone in a flare of fire and shrapnel...
if a flak turret beings firing on a lib, and the lib casually decides to return fire THE LIB WILL WIN!
Which is bullshit, libs should be scared of AA and Turrets, and ESFs. Instead they ACTIVELY fly over or try to dog fight with god damn ESFs.

This is why I enjoy using my "no skill" lock-on missile launcher.
I love me some hate tells :v:

remember to remind them it took them at least a month to work on their pilot skills and two seconds for you to lock them with your missile launcher

I'd complain about it if air vehicles weren't so god damned OP
Some day the Striker will fire Coyote missiles, then I shall drink airchav tears.

killing a ESF with dumb fire missile launchers is probably the best thing ever, and it's what they deserve for basecamping and hanging around shooting rockets.

ESF's who stand still while bombing deserve to die instantly
My favourite AA kill of all time was firing at a Liberator cruising along just barely within visibility distance from my vanguard. Felt like the shell travelled for a full minute before I got the score on him. Guy panics and heads straight for the ground, taking evasive action but heading towards me as he has no idea what just wiped 1/3rd of his hp so fast. Guy actually lands about 50m in front of me and gets out to repair, put 2 more shells into the lib and wipe it along with his 2 comrades.
As a final insult I crushed the pilot under my treads. Delicious.
Will probably never repeat it and I suspect I've romanticised the story so much in the retelling that I can't actually remember what exactly happened.
I on my VS alt shot down a Mosquito heading for the warpgate at roughly 1km range. I measured ingame after the shot, it took ages for the projectile to hit and then I started laughing uncontrollably. Sadly no rage tells.
Still think my Femedic looks bitchin'

Don't knock on the 2 round burst rifle, either, it's pretty great

playing a skyguard was my favourite thing to play in PS2
the fury of shitty ESF pilots when they end up trying to crash their plane into you because you're not letting them murderkill everything
After hearing about all this BR100 pilots anti air phobia I decided to get a grounder.
The rain became quite salty on Indar
I've learned to not drive any vehicle that isn't a tank since they usually end up as flipped smoldering piles of scrap.
Also I successfully defended a bio lab last night and got my friend playing with me. So I guess I'm really starting to move up in the world.
So far, I die the least with medic and engineer and I'm actually surprised at how much I can contribute while playing as them.

If you want to win and win big, Grab an NS-15, and put the NV scope on it and prowl around a Biolab. Shit is so OP
biggest thing i've noticed with the new update is the medics got some sort of bubble shield thing. also noticed that that thing when deployed in considerable amounts does cause noticable lag.
