Okay so I haven't been on PS2 for months now and it's telling me the cobalt server is locked and I can't use my characters, have they deleted all the old characters? Edit: What are you guys bloody laughing at, I genuinely have no idea what's going on, is it just server maintainance?

They will drain the implant power but as you gain xp (kills, base caps etc) you gain more or you can get a new implant. Think tf2 crafting where 3 scraps give you a better metal. same rules apply if you combine 5. I don;t use them unless it's EOD hud for vehicles.

It means you don't have to go looking for a medic or bring health items (an equipment slot that's much better used for C4) if you take a few shots while hopping rooftops. The second and third versions are surprisingly speedy too, you have very little time to wait before it kicks in and it doesn't take long to actually replenish your health.

If you're VS use the Marker implant and the lasher, you can spot globs of enemies by just taking pot shots by enemy AMS units, and you can spot people around corners by firing around cover, it's kinda ridiculous. Also implants are drained by second, 0.5 for T1, 0.75 for T2, 1 per second for T3.

Mmm, I love me some early Planetside 2, where half your team keeps killing you because they want to grab the xp gained by repairing and recapping stuff while it's still early and most of the server population is asleep.

Higby said that they're considering giving the Brawler, NC's unlockable auraxium directive Mauler variant, an under barrel shotgun. A shotgun with an under barrel shotgun. Generally I'd say we need [I]less[/I] shotguns but that's an opportunity that can't be missed.

I heard theres coming a free-gun thing this weekend? Since this is the Polaris community event thing Planetside 2 has gotten a bunch of youtubers to bring players to PS2, meaning we will see a flow of newbies. But how will this free gun thing work. because I love free guns. I already got the summerreward promocode :D

This is fucking bullshit. When SOE changed their membership system to all access, they put a timer on recurrent SC and it expires if you don't cash in. This means that for the three months I haven't played, they took my money and wiped their asses with it. What the fuck?

Is anyone else who's a member having problems with their membership level? I've been pretty inactive for the past week or so and I logged on this morning and my membership level was at copper, despite having a continuous membership for the last 3/4 of a year.

I logged in today after not playing for a while and my characters aren't showing up. One of my friends says he can still see the name on his friends list so I'm assuming that means it's not been deleted. Anyone else had a similar problem?
