Curious, what makes mercy better than the other options?
The Ability to actually hit them.

It behaves differently than the other chaingun options?

It's more accurate. Little less damage.
the explosive range on the halberd is a big fat lie
you'd think being engulfed in a massive fucking fireball would at least hurt you

That's how it is with all explosives with a direct-damage component in this game, even if you're showered in ESF rockets unless they're good hits you still won't die.

wouldn't annoy me so much if it wasn't for a fact that whenever i'm killed by enemy explosives they have an explosive radius the size of mars

Things without a direct-damage component have huge blast damage. Things like grenades, C4, anti-tank mines etc.
Maxed out Anchored mode for my prowler and got the Herlberd for my Harasser. Used them and so worth the upgrade/certing into.
Free premium for a month.
So if I fill those slots and a month expires do I lose the characters?
So if I fill those slots and a month expires do I lose the characters?
Nope, you'll get to keep the characters but if you haven't filled the slots when it expires then you can't create more goons
oh god this AV/AV mag makes like 200 certs an hour with this membership.
In one life we got like 20 confirmed heavy tank kills and a load of lightnings and harassers.
Wow playing TR has gotten less rewarding with each passing day. Constantly getting outnumbered or overwhelmed and faced with shitty, inept, idiotic leadership on waterson whose default strategy is to retreat back to the fucking warpgate or just completely abandon the continent in favor of pointless ghost capping.
That warpgate strategy sure works every time, though. Way to waste 10 minutes for some pointless organizing and totally lose the initiative on every single front.
Here are the only active TR outfits on waterson:
V1C1, which is now on the rise but is full of fucking moron kids and bronies
Ego, which seems to be in decline for some reason USED to be good, but now uses warpgate tactics more frequently and is generally unraveling organization wise
ODAM, pretty much on par with Ego, some mediocre collaboration between the two, but is generally worse off.
Those are the only options it feels like most of the time.
Whereas VS has VRDS, XOO, and a few smaller, skilled outfits.
And the NC has DVS, Easy company and also a few smaller, more skilled branches.
It just feels like the average TR player on waterson lacks both ability ,intuition, and initiative to be independently useful, and the same goes for when they manage to band together.
after the last update i'm getting some seriously bad freezing and crashing issues. haven't had any since like november and now i can't play for more than 30-45 minutes without it freezing up. gj

Judging from the time spent on my alt, TR on Mattherson isn't much better. Medics never seem to heal or revive and engineers never seem to repair or drop ammo. It's like they're braindead. No wonder they're always the most underpop now.
so i went and started up ps2 to see what's changed, and quite frankly I can't beleive they haven't fixed the lag yet. it might even be worse. what the fuck?
Logged off Mattherson after spending the whole day leading half a platoon all over Esamir protecting the TR continent lock. I hope my fellow Terrans can last until tomorrow.

That's odd, because I have the exact opposite experience of mattherson TR, maybe it's because I don't follow the random zerg forces.

I don't experience lag hardly at all..what server are you on?

Odd, here on cobalt you see nothing other than medics fucking everywhere harvesting everyone
On Miller the TR usually seem to get their shit together, but only one one continent at any time. We can pull off massive zergs that don't stop unless we get our shit wrecked by the combined NC/VS air force because we decided to attack them both at once, and then they just outspam our mossies :v:
[editline]6th May 2013[/editline]
Then again I have seen an alarming rise in the amount of Gattling buggies on Esamir. They use them to spearhead attacks and take out low flying aircraft / tanks. (You'd be surprised at how fast tanks die when they get shot by those things in force)

Have you noticed the VS have really picked up their shit? usually it was just NC and TR duking it down with VS watching like a kid in the corner, yesterday they had a godamn continent.

Sounds exactly like what happened on Connery.

We are quite capable of wrecking shit even with our low population. :v:

The buggy fight scene was my favorite, where they had this epic battle with a TR buggy. And then both buggies smashed into a tree and everyone died.

PS2 is probably the only game where all those epic running battles you see in trailers actually happens in-game with the Harasser. It's always a blast getting a fight with another Harasser.
If they're really that set on making PS2 into an esport, they sure as hell better make a harasser arena mode.
You really need to know how to use them. With lockdown coming up they'll be even better. You pretend like aiming isn't important indoors.
It really isn't. Because of how the max weapons are off centered, tighter spread is actually a downside indoors because if max weapons had pinpoint accuracy you couldn't hit anything in the center of your crosshair closer than 5 meters. The way you "know how to use them" is aiming either on the left or right of your crosshair which means only one of your weapons is going to hit which effectively lowers your dps to be inferior to that of a HA, not counting you have to estimate where you're supposed to aim. In the meantime NC maxes can instagib infantry no problem using a single arm.
and lockdown is surely going to have it's uses but using it indoors is asking for a HA to peek around a corner (because TR maxes can't kill anything fast enough for it to not have time to retreat, what about NC maxes?) and shoot a rocket in your face or having a LA C4 you or just have any bloke with a pump action shotgun come from behind and smash you with a few shots, if you're lucky you'll have time to react and deactivate lockdown, let alone kill him.
The moral of the story is the TR max is mediocre to bad at everything even in it's optimal range whereas the NC max is superior to anything else in it's effective range.

Harrasser demolition derby with modified halberds that only do knockback.
