Sounds like you are talking about PHX. Personally I'm in GOON. They aren't always active but when they are it's pretty swell. Mostly casual but you will get booted if you are in the squad but never near the waypoints.
I used to be GOON too, space giraffe was the most fun (a friend of mine had this tricked out galaxy we'd all pile into) and we'd just run black ops shit too bad all those dudes quit the game. [editline]23rd July 2014[/editline]
We're not in an outfit, we just jump on mumble and squad up in game.
could i get the deets for that? PM maybe?
Even if you verify using the launcher, you still end up downloading like half the game for some reason.
If you verify by the launcher it checks the manifest and sees if any of your files are modified, corrupted, or straight up gone, then it downloads those assets. You probably had a gigantic file have some minor corruption and had to redownload the entirety of it.
Claymores have the advantage of being much harder to see and better around corners. It's "grass is greener on the other side" combined with the desire to see two different but equally balanced tools for each faction. Honestly I'd rather have them then the glow in the dark frisbees NC gets. I get one AP mine kill a week and I spam those bitches.
Claymores have the advantage of being much harder to see and better around corners.
Claymores are one of the most visible, though. They don't have all the glowy shit but they're much taller and thicker than other mines.

In my opinion and a lot of other people's it's by far the most visible.
Going to have to disagree with that. Probably why some people say "whoa i can't see those fuckin claymores" and others say "holy shit it's shining like a discoball better shoot that thing".
I've actually never seen lasers on the claymore. Is that like how people on low settings don't see infiltrators at all while people on high settings see them clear as day? [editline]23rd July 2014[/editline] I guess the moral of this story is cert AT mines regardless of faction because you are going to get dick for kills with AP mines regardless and just yearn for the other faction's mines that are equally as useless.
Is there a definitive best suit slot? I remember back when I regularly played (many months, maybe a year or more ago), people were saying that Nanoweave wasn't worth it and Advanced Shield Capacitors were simply, hands down, the best suit slot mod you could invest in. For what it's worth I main TR Combat Medic and go between front lines charging in like a retard, and standing just behind the front lines and healing whoever's hurt or reviving whoever's fallen. Either way I try to be, y'know, a Combat Medic. Also, what about weapons? I had found I really liked the Cycler TRV, though I'm currently saving up for the TORQ-9. Back when I did play more regularly, some of the "best" weapons I found I didn't really like for some reason or another. Mostly down to just how they "felt". It doesn't help that I play around 20fps, and routinely start stuttering and dropping lower the moment I get into action. It's still playable, just a bit hard.
I'm of the opinion for combat medic that the flak armor is better, if you're in a group of dudes its most likely a grenade that'll get you all. if you can survive and revive it turns the tides.
I mostly use Nanoweave armor as a Combat Medic. I know, I know, it might not be the best, but since I started playing not too long ago, I have barely been involved in combat that had vehicles in it (somehow), and out of the many deaths I've had already, only a fraction of them has been from explosives.
So Higby showed off some concepts for battle islands. One looks to be a city continent like everybody's been asking for. My membership level has been reset to copper when it should be auraxium and I've been dealing with SOE's customer service. For some reason they have no idea how to fix it and my ticket has been "escalated up to our Advanced Billing department", whatever the fuck that is. I don't want to pretend I know how this stuff works, and I'm not ragging on the people who've been attempting to help me, but something like that kinda seems like it should have been a relatively simple issue to fix.
i think i've done enough directives on the test server for the special analyst helmet now. i killed 10 guys because a sunderer pulled up, an engy placed a bunch of mines right as i had thrown a grenade, and my grenade detonated all the mines :D :D

All they have to do is change a variable in the system and that should be it done.
Galaxy is almost dead, Pilot jumps out and starts repairing it. I sit on the right wing with the Bulldog. Scythe #1 swoops in. Pow, Pow. Dead. Scythe number two swoops in, He's dead, too, debris bouncing over the galaxy. Scythe number 3 swoops in, Splattercakes. He only took one shot to die, ha And then we won the alert
Man that sucks, even if they couldn't find out why. All they have to do is change a variable in the system and that should be it done.
That's what I thought. I assumed that they could just re-grant the benefits to the correct level again. I'm certain I've read about other people getting this done when similar problems have occurred.
Have you shown the record of the purchase? If so, you can tell them to reset.
In my ticket I gave them the dates of my first billing and my most recent billing. The first person I spoke to acknowledged that my account is subbed and told me that the issue should be resolved but it wasn't so I had to update my ticket. The next person told me he "made some adjustments on our end" but the issue still wasn't fixed. Then he asked me to log out so that he could try some things on their end (which sounded a little bizarre if you ask me) and after that it got sent over to this "advanced billing department". The last update I got from them was this
I have sent this over to the platform engineers to update the account. Once they give me a status update I will update you. Please be patient while we gather information and work to resolve this issue. Thank you.
It all seems quite convoluted. I've been bounced around all over the place for what seems like quite a trivial issue to fix.

There is no reason it should have to go to the platform engineers just to change it. Why do support centers always give their first level employees no fucking power to actually change anything?
Whoo! Hit 1K certs, so I got myself the TORQ-9. Spent another 10-20 minutes and got myself the 30 certs for a Reflex 2x sight. Now to save 100 for the Forward Grip, then I'll just save up to finish out my Medical Applicator.
lol, med app should have come before some shitty weapon. I don't think you realize how fast max med app is.
lol, med app should have come before some shitty weapon. I don't think you realize how fast max med app is.
I main medic, I know what it's capable of. I'm waiting for the absolute last level of it.
I main medic, I know what it's capable of. I'm waiting for the absolute last level of it.
You main medic and yet you don't upgrade the best medic cert gain device?
You main medic and yet you don't upgrade the best medic cert gain device?
I've only recently gotten back into it and level 4's done me well enough.
So I fully certted out my heavy and am moving to fully cert out my Sundy. I know almost nothing about the sunderer. Do you guys have any tips with what I should do first with it and what are the best weapons to put on it?
lol, med app should have come before some shitty weapon. I don't think you realize how fast max med app is.
Pfffft SABR-13 > Med App. Love that rifle. Burst weapons are weird for me. They shoot then they stop forcing you to keep pulling the trigger to keep firing, which means the cone of fire effect that you get from full auto weapons is never a factor, allowing you to be super accurate always without having to think about it
So I just found out that the EM6 has a two shot burst mode, I've been rocking that with headshots everywhere.
Anyone have any suggestions for some fairly accurate assault rifles for all three factions? Or just some accurate rifles that they can use. The (default) VS assault rifle has done the job for me so far, but both the TR and NC assault rifles are pretty bad outside of close quarters. I have been trying out the AMR-66, which has been good to me so far, but I miss having a fully automatic, and still accurate, rifle.

For a spawn point, blockade is all you really need. For a battle sundy, blockade and maybe bulldogs. A walker gives you a lot of AA. Each walker is better than a skyguard. The repair ability can be powerful, but you need it maxed out to bother with it. Ammo ability will get you some cheap points, but C4 will kill you slightly more often.

The first level is all you really need and it's a big help for the gunners and it only costs one cert (per gun). There's no reason not to. [editline]27th July 2014[/editline] The same applies to any gunner weapon really. Things like MBT secondaries and such.
