But one option costs cash and both can get you banned, a official system implemented by SOE would be great.
Agreed, it would be nice to have official implementation. Even better if you could have deplorable speakers on a sunderer.
I was just explaining a way of doing it. Although I didn't know it could get you banned? What are the rules on this?

Motherfuck I knew they'd never release something on time
rather wait for a day instead of not being able to play the game at all
Why is a light assault holding a TRAP? A Valkyrie can't fit all those players, this is silly. Why does the prowlers not look like shoeboxes? Why do they have centralized turrets? Why is that medic duel wielding a shotgun and medic gun at once? When can we expect these buffs?
[editline]16th August 2014[/editline]
Anyways does anyone know the details on the resupply cap? I heard that it resets if you die to enemy fire and that it's 300xp per player. Does the cap increase if you have boosts? etc
The infiltrator holding a TRAP is also something that would never happen in the real game.

god damnit they delayed it again.
I'm hoping that it's basically a futuristic equivalent (more referring to the sense of mobility capabilities) of the modern Little Bird helicopters because those things are fun to fly no matter what game they're in. I also like flying transport vehicles, but all (2) of the transport vehicles in PS2 are basically slow moving whales.
I remember posting this forever ago, then I decided to go look around on the forums about delay status and such, then I saw this:
So...what exactly is the valkrie supposed to be?

Littlebird.
I'll admit I'm pretty excited even if half of the forums are calling it a flying coffin. Then again that's the official forums for a game so they can usually be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to an outcry about balance.
Should I bother upgrading the NC Heavy Assault stock LMG or should I buy a better weapon? And if so, what LMG should I buy?
Get compensator/adv. foregrip to turn Gauss Saw into God Saw.
I'm looking forward to Valkyrie pilots blasting CCR over voice
Get compensator/adv. foregrip to turn Gauss Saw into God Saw.
have compensator and almost have adv. foregrip. Should I get long range ammo or is the hit to vertical recoil not worth it?
Personally I prefer without HV ammo because it's easier to control that way. That's just me though.
Anyone playing on Connery as NC and want to squad up? TRG (TR) is completely rolling and its pretty unfun not having anyone to coordinate with at all
in the patch notes
Firing a Phoenix from a Valkyrie rumble seat may hit the Valkyrie you are in. Friends don't let friends fire wired guided missiles inside aircraft.
well, no phoenix tactics for the valkyrie.
have compensator and almost have adv. foregrip. Should I get long range ammo or is the hit to vertical recoil not worth it?
Most people argue that the HV ammo is not worth it. I don't really feel much of a difference. It increases damage by a little bit at range, and the velocity of your rounds but gives more of a kick.

EM6 is very popular, most people say it should be the starting LMG for NC instead of the SAW.

Holy crap, they threw the heat mechanic in on the beetlejuice already
Damn i'm really looking forward to flying the Valkyrie.

Its gonna be stupidly hilarious with a TR crew using miniguns.
Its a blackhawk or little bird with 4 feckin gatling cannons spewing death at 1600rpm
NC can use shotguns or something I guess. Vanu have lasers and that awesome LMG of theirs. Yay for NC mediocrity!
Nc would've had the most silly one if the phoenix actually worked.
Imagine seeing that thing get over a mountain and have it spew blue missiles out the sides :v:
also, you can barely aim down in the valkyrie, so you must rely on the pilot to bank over to one side to attack.
[editline]28th August 2014[/editline]
also, the pilot can kinda put an ammo kit in it. I tried it and the model wasn't visible but on the minimap you could see the ammo icon stuck on the valkyrie mid-flight

The chaingun has about 900 rpm though?
You guys seem to really overestimate the accuracy of rumble seats. You can't really hit anything while moving. We tried a 4man lasher squad in a Valk on test, it looked really cool but didn't do much damage.
I'd imagine it would best close up.
I'd imagine it would best close up.
The problem is that as soon as you come close they can just shoot you straight out of the vehicle. You're sitting still with no armor or protection at all. You're really not going to have any effective A2G with LMGs. I asked about it and they just responded "well it should be dangerous to be in a rumble seat".
So I just sent a support ticket asking SOE if they could give me a one time refund on my TRAP-M1
I just decided to honestly tell them that I have buyers remorse and would rather put the station cash towards my Mosq's lolpods. Here's hoping they help me get rid of that god awful weapon.

honestly having four HA's with miniguns would only help in the rumble seat to clear out infantry during landing, and even then, it has a fixed cone of fire and a four second reload. I can see A2A rocket launchers being much more useful on it.

I'm okay with the danger of a rumble seat. but I don't like how lock-on missiles can also hit and (single-shot from own experience?) kill the people in said rumble seats.

FLAK clears out the rumble seats before the Valk even reaches half health

Chainguns also have the fixed COF which would make it useless past 20-30m. We need mounted AI turrets instead.
I completely suck at dogfighting. I have never won a dogfight, I think I've shot down maybe 3-4 ESF's flying my Reaver.
Am I just godawful, or is it what I'm flying? A lot of people say the Reaver is abysmal compared to the other ESF's. Or do i not have the right equipment?
I don't know what it is but its frustrating being consistently gunned down every fucking time

You're going up against sperglords who've spent a long as time inside their ESFs.
Combine the fact that the Reaver hitbox is a lot larger and you need to really use the afterburners more effectively, which is also the Reaver's biggest strength, that and most dog fights happen up close so if you get the air hammer, you can usually wreck shit up. Its a very steep learning curve and even medium to very experienced pilots have a hard time dogfighting against BR100s who spent all their time mastering it.

You need to realize that the people that instagib you have several hundred hours in their respective ESF. Reaver is far from underpowered, and air is overall really balanced against eachother right now.
So yeah, you're godawful, but it gets better.
Huh. VS directive weapons are getting heat? interesting. hope they dont end up like most vanu weapons and just are gimmicky rather than useful.
