Probably something to do with LOD since it seems to happen most commonly at extreme ranges. At least it does in my experience.

Hey, I'm going back into this game since it was first announced, but what's the deal with the in-game store? Is it pay to win stuff or just skins or what is it? I'm just wondering.

It's shortcuts (Like buying champs in League) and cosmetics.

Oh okay good, I stopped playing long ago because of terrible performance but now that I have a decent PC I can probably run it.

Also now getting certs is MUCH easier, I don't feel disadvantaged for not paying money.

750ti and FX-6300 here, get a tolerable solid 30~fps in fights. I can't help but feel the idea of this being unoptimized is greatly exagerrated, as much as I'd love to rock Planetside 2 at 300+fps like I get on every other game I play. [editline]1st September 2014[/editline] And yes, I mean the big 4+ platoon fights. I'd be concerned if a small ghostcap-fail skirmish put me to 30fps.

I get buttery smooth on my i5. :c like in 96+ player fights i go down to maybe 30fps, otherwise rocking that 60.

I play on an i7 (don't know which model, haswell anyway) and a GTX 765m - I play medium to high at mostly 30+fps and more often than. It it stays around 40. Only drops to 30 or less during big ass fights or when I get random lag spikes while boosting in a Scythe..

Finally aurax'd the Jaguar, I never want to use this gun again it's not bad for cqc with an ALS on it, but the bullet velocity and damage at range is so fucking awful I can't use it 70% of the time. I'm a long-range fighter and it just does not work

I get glorious 60 fps in all battles. GTX750Ti and an intel i5-4670

All of the people on factions that underperform or are underpopulated on servers will just piss off to servers where they're the top dog and it'll fuck the entire pop balance up more than it's ever been.

Each faction had its own small-but-elitist clan with people who openly cheated and evaded bans through proxies and alternate Steam accounts. The VS group was called "ZAPS", but I forget the TR and NC groups. Whenever those three fought, it was pretty much a giant slaughter for everyone else. But if only one clan was on and the other two weren't, then the clan's faction had a guaranteed win.
