Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think - Games

I don't get the point of the shield bubbles. Enemies seem to die just as fast inside of them, and when I'm injured and in a friendly one, my health/shield regenerates so slow that the difference is completely negligible. Yet everyone seems to keep deploying them all the time. I don't get their purpose.

There seems to also be a delay after taking damage before your shield can regenerate from the charger(or just lag). The main issue in my opinion is how it highlights everyone as a target for explosives. See that huge bubble? Throw some grenades at it. It's pretty much a "WE'RE HUDDLED UP OVER HERE" sign

Also what's with the hate that the EM1 recieves? I put it on recently and I freaking love it. It's madly accurate with little recoil, good damage output and has soft point ammo.

But it can't do well in extreme situations like all the 'awesome' weapons can. [editline]9th September 2014[/editline] Just a note: I love the EM1, it was my first Auraxium.

So whats the recommended specs to play this game maxed out at decent (40+) FPS? I'm looking into upgrading my CPU/mobo and wondering what to go with. GPU is a GTX 560ti that I don't feel like upgrading yet.

PS2 is a CPU heavy game. Not GPU heavy. I wouldn't know though, I'm running on a AMD Phenom II Black.

For me, on Hossin, CPU is the bottleneck. Meanwhile the GPU is a bottleneck on Indar.

4690K should work great. I have a 4670K and a 560 (no ti), and with everything (except shadows?) maxed out I get 40 FPS+ most of the time. The biggest problem in really large infantry firefights is people disappearing and reappearing at random, but I don't think that's my computer's fault, and the frame rate never tanks.

Best NS weapons according to FP? Considering putting 12 on to buy a couple of new toys but I think I want to make a TR char to go alongside my Vanu one.

The medic one is pretty good, i've got the LMG just i havn't used it yet, last night i was using the baron shotgun and was surprisingly impressed.

If you fire in bursts of 3-5 shots you can land pretty much all of them at surprisingly long ranges. The NS-7 PDW is also pretty good and has the added advantage of being usable by every class.
