Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

Dammit, I've wanted to do something like this but I never got the courage to ask for footage and my rig isn't strong enough to handle recording that kind of stuff.
Have they optimized the game? Haven't played since the alpha.
Oh also, is there an active FP outfit?

It's been optimized for well over a year at this point.

They did, performance is kinda shitty again tho.

oh, had tab open for a while...
It's been optimized for well over a year at this point.
Altho the Valk update made everything shit for half the playerbase, optimization-wise.
Anyone know some good TR Emerald outfits that are open for recruitment? Finally snapped with AoD's performance the past few alerts with how they have our resources being put around where they're not needed, and when they do have us somewhere decent half the guys in the platoons are idiots. Apart from various other instances of nothing being organized beyond general destination.
VG (Validus Gamers), 903, and The Cooperative seem to be the most competent Emerald TR outfits.

Last I checked (a week before Destiny launched) Draugur [RAUG] is open to recruitment as an outfit that intends to be 'liquid Draino', as in a bunch of guys that launch coordinated strikes to destroy all the enemy spawn points, set up effective spawn camps, get the rest of the TR zerg rolling smoothly, and then moving on to the next deadlock
[editline]29th September 2014[/editline]
But the outfit is actually full of idiots that don't understand how taking orders works, and again the last time I checked in was over a month ago
Someone should get a yellow sunderer and give it the fat chocobo theme (if it's even possible).
If anyone is interested we have a little TR Emerald outfit called Terran Syndicate.
Mostly we just fly around in libbies trying to destroy every sunderer we can find spawning troops near objectives, and anything else that gets in our way or takes our fancy.

Could just throw the banana camo on a Scat max and proximity that tune.

AoD has been getting on my nerves lately. I don't play in any outfit, I just like tagging along in big battles, but fighting with them has become a clusterfuck recently. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when AoD was attacking a NC facility with a force composed mostly of sunderers competing with each other to find the best spots to deploy. When one sunderer was destroyed another would say 'Oh joy!' and deploy right where the other was. Once the war of vehicular attrition proved idiotic and there were no spawn points near the facility, AoD never even regrouped. I looked at my map and saw a steady stream of sundies and lightnings going one by one from the local vehicle pad to their deaths in NC territory.
I could only laugh. What's the point of chain of command when you cant even utilize the most basic strategies?
No patch today. I'd act surprised but, well, at this point it's easier to just tack an extra week onto every date they say a patch is due :v:
what patch?
VG (Validus Gamers), 903, and The Cooperative seem to be the most competent Emerald TR outfits.
Large TR outfits, yes. I might also add Honeybadgers in there to.
That being said, there are plenty of very small outfits who are extremely good, although they have high standards.

For one off the top of my head, Hamburgalers (I think) are an extremely focused group. From the number of times I played with them when they had an open squad, it wasn't difficult for us to hold a point in a biolab indefinitely against 4:1 odds or even worse. Normally those would end after the enemy just clogged the rooms with infantry and maxes.
what patch?
This month's big patch. It was supposed to drop today but it's been delayed, as usual. It was supposed to include the optic changes, the start of the Halloween event, the leadership directive tree and I believe the striker changes, among other things that I'm forgetting.
You forgot the best part, I will finally fulfill my dream of being a robot Vanu with the new voicepacks

Yeah. If they fail to take a location the first time they IMMEDIATELY leave and go fight at a front 3 km away. It sucks because as soon as the battle starts getting good or challenging the squad leader promptly yells "Alright guys, REDEPLOY WE'RE GOING TO AMERISH!"
Well, striker has been so heavily nerfed it is not even funny.
Idk if it's just me but it feels like heavies in general got nerfed to hell and back recently.
So T-Ray is leaving SOE.
As the new Art Director of Planetside2.
I've had a blast working with you guys all these many months. I will certainly miss you all. The good news is, you are in good hands. Bill was on the Ps2 team from start to ship so he is very well versed in what is and is not PlanetSide 2. He is running the show now and he may contradict so of the 'rules' I set in the past, but that is now his prerogative. Please, give my friend a warm welcome to the Player Studio community.
As for me, I will be moving on to another company. Thank you for all of your hard work. It's been a blast.
Good Luck

I've always held leadership changing as a bad omen for the future.

Everyone always bashes him but I for one think he did a great job (for the most part) at keeping faction aesthetics distinct. I feel like if all his opponents had it their way PS2 would look super generic, non-distinct and boring.

He's likely the reason why the VS are now pitch black by default and have 100% camo coverage.

(for the most part)
I admit, under him there were some questionable artistic decisions made but the faction aesthetics are undeniably distinct and have way more character than a lot of other games.

He's also the reason VS existed in the first place.
On the plus side, maybe NC will finally get berets.
So is this game PvP only?

He seemed like such a good guy, funny and all. But I cannot say I think he's done a good job on the game.

Ironically, he was the person behind the change for the TR going from grey and black, with grey and white details, to grey/black/red, on the justification that it would be unfair at night if they didn't have a more noticeable main colour
