Planetside 2 V6 - VS capped Indar? It's more likely than you think

Ooh that reminds me I forgot to dust off my TR character and try out the new Striker.
I don't understand their reason for making the Stiker worse at AV than the AA launchers. I further don't understand why they want to improve it's AI role.
It's like a sad Lancer.

Right now, it is the worst launcher by far in the game.

Without these buffs, you could kill a flash with a beamer faster than you can with the striker. Considering the vehicle resistance is the same even in the buffed one, it still is going to take 6 rockets.

I'd literally choose a rifle over the Striker for anything that can take rifle damage.
I'd also take the AA dumbfire for AV duty over the Striker.
I remember when the Phoenix was supposedly shit.
Then you run into 3 of them and try to nope away.

Pheonix was never shit. One-shotting inf behind walls was the bomb.

All I ever hear is shit about the Phoenix, I'm thinking I might jump ship to Jeager.

has science gone too far!?
Yes.
Also both runs with your outfit/platoon have been really fun, thanks.
Seeing that image, having slightly different looking faction Sundys would be neat. Not functionally different, but like, TR has treads, NC get wheels, VS get...a cloud of mini crab-walking MAXs to ride on? Iunno.
Aren't they planning something like that for Harassers?
T-Ray is gone no more than two days and look what happens.

His bizarre opposition to berets were one of the things I could say that I actually didn't like him for. Just because they're not "futuristic" enough doesn't mean they shouldn't be in PS2. Berets can't exactly be enhanced with nanotechnology or anything, they're about as futuristic as they're ever going to get. Not only that but we have a bunch of normal, non-futuristic hats already in game. Plus PS1 had berets. His refusal to accept them was completely baffling.
It wasn't because they weren't futuristic enough, but because NC players wanted them as their version of the Commissar hat, and 'berets are professional military, not for rebels'. Just as baffling though since I can literally go down the street as a civilian and buy a military beret right now.

Not to mention all the stereotypical guerilla dudes that wear berets.
Another thing I've noticed, and this probably isn't related to Tray's departure and is just a coincidence, is that Player Studio items seem to be getting released more frequently in intervals across the month now instead of just being on / following big patches. It's about time, if that is the case, since there's a huge backlog of approved items.
Yeah it's not really to do with his departure, but he made a statement last month that the current speed for items being accepted > going ingame was unacceptable. He and the team rejigged a bunch of stuff internally to streamline the process a bit more, and that's only going to improve even more once PSview is released, since the rigging/detail normals/etc will be all on the creator now instead of the art team, leaving them free to do other stuff.

Now we just need alternate versions with shades and earpieces...
So I just grinded 1000 certs. What NS weapon should I purchase?
Met some guys with the NC flag on their sails in Archeage, I yelled TR propaganda at them but got no response
guess they were too scared

i should defend scarred mesa skydock more often.
Curious here, once I get 1000 certs stocked up, what rocket-launcher is most recommended? Or should I invest in the Engineer rocket-turret instead?

Annihilator. Extremely versatile.
100 kills in 58 minutes. Feels pretty good.

I have the anti-air Grounder for the TR. 250 certs and can still dumbfire. Little less damage than default launchers and it drops off a lot faster but you can lock and forget aircraft. I would not bother with ESLs, the striker being the one I own and it's near uselessness (I miss the old days of striker squads being scarier than skyguards)
