Now that Buzzcut and his merry band of shaftlickers are gone things are usually pretty non-toxic between NC and TR at least.

Last I heard he picked up Battlefield 4 for a short statpadding stint then moved on to WoW. Brought his 14 year old fanboys with him to a RP-PVP server where they roam Timeless Isle (large open PVP area) as a group ganking opposing players and talking shit on Twitch.

Appeared on the launcher, pretty neat.
In my experience of playing, all the toxic players I've seen are VS.
My usual response to their dickbaggery is "fuck it, back to bullying the NC".
As the resident "man on the inside" I can tell you that many of the KOTV "leaders" are pretty much the epitome of eastern European elitist dickead... not to generalise people from eastern europe but for some reason the dickheads from eastern europe seem to be the most toxic.
Then again I play a lot of dota and that made me hate Russians irrationally.
They are your stereotypical counterstrike "Badass Pro" who bitch about everything and everything they say is some kind of demand that has this nasty way of coming about and they do bully and pick on the other factions...
I never signed up for this...
I just wanted lasers and hovertanks... was this really such a crime?

refire time decreased 400->200ms; reload time decreased 4->2.5s; clip size reduced 20->12 (and changed mag size certs accordingly)
Harasser PPA: removed all direct damage (was: max dmg 235, max dmg range 10, min dmg 167, min dmg range 65); max indirect (AOE) damage reduced 1.0->0.1m, max AOE reduced 300->250 (min dmg still 1, radius 4m);

Bah, You Luddite's always had your head stuck in the past, this world has no ROOM for the slow, no ROOM for those who will not change, who will not better themselves for the good of all!

Faster TTK against light vehicles than a Vulcan or Marauder, extremely fast TTK at close range, can still be spammed at long range by firing it semi-auto.
I've heard stories of NC and TR actually avoiding killing one another on Emerald; half because the TR guys there seem to be unbelievably organized and competent, and the other because those same TR don't want to fuck up NC players even more than VS zergs already do. I've heard first hand from NC mec troopers that have fucking walked besides a TR squad wrecking shit simply because they realized that the Tr weren't actively targetting them and had squad wide agreements to just stomp mindless VS zerglings.
The NC there are fucking champs for taking the shit that VS keep dishing out, but I just can't believe how much the TR are able to pull off there even with massive overpops.
That would probably be toned down. Also they're still supposed to rework the marauder and vulcan, they might just buff that up to the same levels.

Just gonna point out how not too long ago there was a supposed thing going on where the NC were doing this with vanu and the NC took shit for it.

At least now at longer range it doesn't out DPS an anchor prowler... and these changes make it and run tactics the better option... you know, like how magriders are basically designed these days.

Yeah, there's rumblings of TR and NC teaming up to kick the shit in of the VS Sperglords. And yeah, when the TR fucking overpopped heavily, the VS and NC outfits on Waterson started to work together to kick the TR's shit in.
I was part of the NC diplomatic team. Waterson NC may be half retared half the time but they also fucking refuse to leave locations even during defeats.
[editline]16th October 2014[/editline]
So I just spent two hours pointing PxP toward the VS instead of the TR.
It was hitting my head against a brickwall, seriously, fuck the VS and also fuck the NC because I told them we need better communciation I got stammering 'B-b-b-but we tried and it was a clusterfuck'.
No shit, everything that starts out is a clusterfuck.

back before when we were on mattherson my outfit worked with CML in a couple alerts when vanu were just steamrolling through us. hell occasionally i see random squads of NC or TR camping a vantage point against a VS zerg.
main gripe is that it feels like more TR squads are loosing communication or organization.
If I was on NC/TR and they pulled that teaming up crap i'd kill players not on my faction anyway, even if my outfit leader tells us not to.
Edit:
Also, i'm getting a 4-404 error whenever I try to start up PS2 now, anyone else having the same issue?
I've quitting, I can't take this shit anymore. The NC players are braindead, I can't stand the other two factions and I've tried jumping onto other servers but I just don't want to have to grind up everything again.
Its not fun anymore, its aggrivating, and I don't see any fucking foreseeable change because everyone's got their heads so firmly lodged inside their own anus that they can't even see anything and I just wanna smash my keyboard.
It ain't healthy nor fun for me anymore so I quit. I just got the 5th time of saying 'we tried' about coordinating and herding cats and I physically and mentally wanna jab a knife into everyone of these outfit leading fucktards. You're hearding cats because you're suck at leading.

I wasn't having issues, check your firewall.

Turning off my firewall to troubleshoot didn't fix the problem, and I already validated the files as well

I know how ya feel man. My outfit was pretty much dead, VS were always outpopping us, NC were still well OP and No one wanted to avoid VS zergs claiming "We'll farm them". I just hope you haven't sunk to much money into it.
"We'll farm them" is just what morons say when they don't know how to break a stalemate.

I actually didn't spend a single coin on the game except for free stationcash I got from a friend. I bought 5 cosmetics.
I'll probably come back to the game in the future, PS2's game is just too different from what's being offered to really step away. I need a break and I wanna wait till the NC breaks and rebuilds itself.
reinstalling this
am i walking into a world of shit?

Whatever you do, don't go in Emerald
Vs is zerging 24/7
TR has the best chance of taking a base over or counter-attacking, but as soon as they push back, VS returns with at least double the forces. NC has no chance at all.
Just rejoined after seeing that October brought a a big change to Flash handling. I'm almost afraid to say this, but I think it's finally in a good place now. It feels responsive and fun to drive! I would still really like to see the turret angle increased (especially vertically), but the Flash is feeling much, much better now. I am actually considering getting the racer chassis, since surger is no longer strictly necessary to prevent from flipping, and turns feel better now that you spin out less often. However, both surgery and scrapper are still solid picks.
Nice job, even if it did take too long.

I'm running Racer 3 right now, as it already handles pretty good and I don't think taking Scrapper 3's improved handling is worth losing the extra speed from Racer.
Racer 3 + S12 Renegade + Wraith = pure evil.
I love the renegade, but the kobalt is a real monster too, especially when you get used to firing from the third person view. It's got a lot more killing power per magazine, and is very forgiving for missed shots. The renegade is great for hitting lone targets, but I get a bit frustrated with the small magazine and short effective range. If I miss my first shot or two with it, I've usually missed my window and have to drive by and try to circle back. The kobalt lets me start shooting from a greater distance, and keep firing.
The basilisk doesn't seem like a great weapon for the Flash, though. You're too fragile for extended firefights in a Flash, which is what the basilisk was designed for. I managed to polish off a few smoking vehicles last night, but I would have been more useful just focusing on infantry.
The fury is my least favorite weapon. I mean, it's good. I just don't like it. It's not as fun as the direct-fire weapons for me.

The Basilisk is in a pretty bad state, yeah. It relies too much on damage-over-time to be dangerous to vehicles (they'll just blast you) and its accuracy is pretty poor for hitting infantry.
Kobalt is fun but relies more on long/medium range, whereas the Renegade is great in open fights where you can chase someone, decloak, blast them, cloak and drive off. It's hilarious for charging at deployed AMSes, because you can decloak a few meters away and hold down the trigger as you go screaming past the inventory station. You'll roadkill anyone you don't kill with the shotgun.
Fury is mediocre against lone infantry, but if you can find a good perch against grouped up enemies, you'll murder the shit out of them. I've already auraxed the gun from firing it at Sunderers and groups of enemies hiding in cover.
My friend's got a wierd issue with the launcher- it looks like this on his end.

There's no play button and it's all stretched out. Any fixes?
