Well, y'know, Indar is pretty much space Africa so it makes sense to have some space giraffes for it
Heh...the problem is everyone does that on Emerald, the TR, the VS, only the NC doesn't go overpop to capture something because even that is too hard to plan for them. They have 0 coordination
They do overpop a spot. And then they get overpopped because two platoons gets dropped.
I can't play the game currently. After clicking START on the launcher, the game loads up with the in-game cursor, then the cursor disappears and it crashes to desktop within 10 seconds. A few seconds after that, the launcher closes down. What the hell did I do wrong?
I cashed out so I could have two bursters on a MAX (I never actually play MAX) and proceeded to have a 37 minute long life sitting on a helipad at Amerish Crux. TR had held the thing for 6 hours with it not being connected to our territory, with VS and NC both trying to get it. I can' count how many Scythes or Liberators I shot down, but after 36 minutes I managed to get 28k score. without killing a single infantry or tank. AA max is incredibly fun.
Grab the extended mags for Bursters ASAP, it makes them amazing.
Extended magazines are going to cost a hell of a lot, but they are definitely going to increase the speed of Liberator destruction. I can see lockdown being great for airmurder, but how smart is investing in charge/flak armor?
Lvl 1 charge is fine for most things, especially AA. Flak armor is only useful if you expect engineers to fix you. Generally, they don't, so auto-regen is a cheap and easy fix to that. Lockdown is pretty worthless until the last level, and even then isn't too great to use. It also loses you out on charge. That said, a fully decked out TR AA MAX in lockdown can effectively act as 2 MAXs worth of pain, but can only face one direction (which is bad when air finds out where you are, because they can come from other directions).

Auto-repair armor is only good if you're running solo. I'd advise against running it normally; I just run back to a terminal and switch out to NAR if I take damage and then go back to Flak before heading out again. Lockdown is great for defense (from right outside a coward box) or when surrounded by allies, but that's about it. It's also not worth it until the penultimate level or later. thank you saber for showing me the light. the ultimate hard mode
I've got my first 1k certs on my TR. Any ideas of what to get?
thank you saber for showing me the light. the ultimate hard mode
you would think after a while they would learn also I love how people seem to pull this stuff of semi-regularly and whenever I try I get instantly shit stomped :v
thank you saber for showing me the light. the ultimate hard mode
I got the Auraxium Lumifiber pretty much entirely by farming Sunderers :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/CY1ucCP.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/JGDK2rU.jpg[/t]
you would think after a while they would learn also I love how people seem to pull this stuff of semi-regularly and whenever I try I get instantly shit stomped :v
I was doing this stuff for around 2 hours straight.
How do you get these achievements? Is it a mod or something?
https://recursiontracker.com/ Pretty nifty program, makes it easy to share session stats and some neat achivements on the side.
1:Fly around in lib. 2:Get shot up. 3:Go in for a landing to repair. 4:Jump out of the lib just above the ground. 5:Realise that there is no ground and you jumped into the waste water. 6:Die. 7:Hear your friends scream as they go down with the sinking lib. Good times.
I wish they added a way to transfer characters I'm fuckoff sick of Emerald and the sperglord VSs zerging 90% of the time
I wish they added a way to transfer characters I'm fuckoff sick of Emerald and the sperglord VSs zerging 90% of the time
it's not just the VS, pretty much any faction does it. that and deciding to devote the entirety of their forces to just one or two hexes
Well, the strategy to win is vomit dudes onto a base to defend it. It's impossible to take a base without overwhelming numbers, and it's easy to deploy a whole army to match the numbers of any attacking force on a whim. It sucks, but it's what works. Plus, defenders get right into the fight from multiple defensive angles, while attackers have to have some framework of Sunderers in very static hard to get to / defend spots.
So Bill has gone and dulled down the faction colours on vehicles. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/yxSoppH.jpg[/thumb] Looks way better now. I asked him on twitter if he was doing the same thing for faction camos, and he said yes. I may actually wear faction camos now. Between this and the new building interior textures, it looks like Bill is pulling his weight. If only he had the same charisma as T-Ray though. Also pistol scopes on PTS.
I heart Bill.
Wooo, now we can actually blend in!
I am still getting far too agitated by BR100's swarming me with their ESF's everytime I try to use mine. Some of them aren't even that good, but they have every upgrade and always move in packs

You'll have about as much fun as playing a P2W MOBA - most people flying are elitist cocks and not having loads of upgrades on your flying machine puts you at a huge disadvantage. On the bright side, air power actually matters in this game, and you can pull jets much more now than used to be possible. I prefer organizing a trio of ground AA to oneshot ESFs and actually push out Libs.

They went for a rocket pod and blew up right before us. The hate tells were amazing.
On that note, always fire rounds at jets if you can. Without composite armor, jets up close actually are in trouble of dying to just a few rifles.
On that note, always fire rounds at jets if you can. Without composite armor, jets up close actually are in trouble of dying to just a few rifles.
You also get kill assist XP if they get shot down later.
I really like playing CAS though, its a lot of fun doing low to the ground flying and strafing runs. It seems the Reaver excels at this too, nothing better than popping up and firing everything then scooting away without being touched. Might have to get composite armor if I keep doing this though. Everytime I find enemies though I can usually get a few rounds into them and poke a few holes and can usually get them burning but they just extinguish and fuck me up with their uberguns or whatever. I spent 250 certs on the Rotary, think I should have saved 1000 for the top gun or gotten the airshotgun. In that vein of flying though I do find the Valk a lot of fun to fly, now if only I could find a gunner and a squad to hotdrop everywhere
If you want to do low flying runs, you want the Air Hammer and stealth. Stealth lets you never get locked onto when flying low. It also lets you get up to other pilots without being seen to instagib them with the Air Hammer. The Air Hammer also allows you to instantly kill any infantry before they can do anything. There is almost no reason not to use it, unless you are exclusively trying to fight other air, and even then it's a good choice.
